Hey Steve, this is Angelina from County Wicklow, Ireland. I'm a leather crafter. I started my leather crafting journey at the beginning of covid with a goal to be able to make shoes awesome for people with problem feet without using velcro. I love your videos, i learn so much and am grateful to you for sharing your experience and expertise. Ive always been creative, horse riding from a very young child, so cleaning tack and boots was not a chore...it turns out, leather craft is my true life's purpose. 😊 it has taken me three years to learn the skills i need..i have started making my own designs for my bags and wallets. So I'm starting to feel confident i can start shoe making very soon, all hand stitched 😂 I'm addicted to stitching...i find it very mindful....i know, maybe I'm just crazy but i love it
You have a lot more woman who watch thank you think. I am a woman in mid 70's who is a woodworker using mostly a lathe. I make a lot of custom pieces, lots of drop spindles and devices related to spinning of weaving. ocasionally I do a rolling pin or a yo-yo. Some pieces are painted, dyed, carved, textured or have an inlay. I love watching your videos because you work hard to do a good job and give the customer what they want. But mostly I watch because you love what you do and that shows in the quality of your work. Also you have fun. Some jobs may be a pain but you take the bad with the good. A fine craftsman in any trade is always fun to watch, and you are the best.
Steve, it is just so comforting to watch you work! You do such a great job on editing your videos, and your patience with getting each step of the process just right is inspiring to me. You're just a fine feller! Thanks for bringing us along.
I must compliment you for your style of communicating with your followers ! Its like- as in real time and very realistic - one to one. At times I nod my head as I concentrate - as though you are around . Cheers ! Keep up the good work.
I grew up in Brooklyn, NY. It is pronounced CAWWWWWFEE ! That's not internet yelling...thats just so you two old guys can read it. 🤓 the shoes came out fabulous!
Hey Steve love how the boots came out, I have been watching you for a while now and may I say; you have inspired me to put my own shoe repair shop, I know watching videos wont make me a cobbler, but I am very good with my hands, I am a leathercrafter, and a fast learner and Im willing to work hard, I took a boot making course, after teaching myself how to make them by watching youtube videos, to get more knowledge of the ins and outs, My teacher was great, he was a passion filled crazy Frenchmen with lots of knowledge in the shoe biz. But I am in the learning stage right now and Im sure I will be learning for a while on my own, because no one here (NYC) is willing to teach the trade, but I have learned so much just by watching your videos. Thank you so much from a future cobbler. P.S. you should call your coffee time "Coffee with Bedo" or "Coffee time with Bedo"
@@ryanp.8807 Well Ryan, yes and no, what I mean is I am still a leather crafter, but I mostly sew outdoor accessories, and I still watch shoe repair videos, but I havent started my shoe repair shop, mostly because of funding, a storefront in nyc is very expensive, tools are very expensive, and trying to make money you will have to charge $60 just for just a heel/top lifts repairs, and at those prices people are very reluctant to pay, its hard trying to balance a good livable wage and paying business expenses, in most cases you will have to specialize in restorations like Mr. Bedo does and that takes years to master, so in time maybe, but in the meantime I will still be watching videos and honing my skills.
@@ryanp.8807 Hey, yeah I enjoy working with leather, its exciting to see a piece of leather become a useful item, like a belt or a bag, or a holster, the only problem I am having is hand pain from hammering and sewing by hand, so I may not be in this for long, but I do have my other business making outdoor gear, which I show a bit on how I bind my edges on a bag, in my channel, but if you want to get into leather I had success in making leather holsters for popular revolvers like western revolvers, Smith and Wesson, colts, and blackpowders, but like I said my hands arent up to the task anymore, so Ill stick to sewing canvas and nylon, but I do wish I can put a small shoe repair shop in a small town somewhere.
Another one!!! You just single handedly brought back the chukka boot!!! Clean work. For a guy with shaky hands, you do perfect work!! “The Shoe Grind”, “Alotta Java”
Looked at my history and found that I have been watching over a year now and I just want to say everything about your videos has improved. Quality of the picture, audio, and content is stellar. Keep up the great work. I appreciate it.
Pt. 2 Lol. Really loved that coffee break. I'm gonna have to step up my game! I hope you add coffee breaks to all the videos, very cool. Those boots turned out AWESOME.
Wow, what a transformation. A pair of old dilapidated boots transformed into a pair I’d love to own!! Fantastic job inside and out. Well done Steve. As for the coffee break……Coffee Club We had that on one of the ships I served on 👍⚓️ Shine on
Well, Steve. I've been away for awhile, but while I was gone you grew in new and unexpected ways! The coffee klatch was really good, and the shoes were, well, astounding! Learn something new every time I watch. Thank You!
So nice to see these chukka boots in number one quality again. I imagined some lucky guy going to his boot tree to put his shoes on, thinking about how much he missed his old chukka boots then seeing these for the first time and then filling them in with his big swell feet. It was Steve the master one more time!
i really appreciate that this customer decided to have his sharkskin boots repaired instead of tossing them and getting new ones. Sharks are incredibly important for the ocean ecosystem and therefore the earth's ecosystem, and they are under tremendous pressure from humans. They aren't like cattle or even alligators which can be farmed, these are wild caught animals. So being conservative in how we use materials harvested from them is very important.
You go along with a wrecked pair of shoes doing this and doing that and talking about this and that, taking a coffee break and meandering and all of a sudden BAM! You have a stunning pair of shoes! AMAZING!
"It's not a top of the line boot....." Well, it is now. I love these kinds of transformations, because the result is undeniably better than new. Good value in this repair, these are amazing boots.
Awesome restoration, Steve. Again, the fine details shine right through. I was in Yerevan for a week in 2001. I was taking a picture of a very Soviet looking structure over a street but it was across the parking lot of an embassy. The guards confiscated the roll of film. I bought a rug in the market and negotiated for a week with the vendor. I told him I was leaving and not coming back. He caved a little, I caved a little and I have this great rug to talk about when guests come over. IT was still pretty soviet feeling when I was there but the people were friendly and the Cognac was cheap. I had a really great time and will go back one day.
Excellent craftsmanship as always! I have Western/cowboy boots in both Shark and Elephant hide and they're both incredibly long lasting with just the minimal of care!
I actually stop.. and comment lol 😆 And continue watching lol 😂 Steve is awesome 😎 He drops some serious reflections. I remember one in particular. “ remember that your worst time.. could be someone’s best time “ That’s truly powerful! ❤️ The man has earned his success. He’s seen hurt and loss. I really appreciate this man ❤️
Just a friendly reminder. Steve’s hands shake because of his awesome 😎 power! And maybe a ton of coffee ☕️ but we don’t judge right? 🙂 Let’s give the legend a ton of love ❤️ He puts the soul back into your step! 😎 Let’s continue 👍
Nice to see you, and great that you are able to share your coffee time with us. It's cool the way you make it, so different from a drip style coffee maker
Watching two men making coffee is worth a few more 👍 I enjoyed watching and listening to you.you will have to keep a good outfit at the shop for your next session 😁🙄🤗🤷🏼♀️💗🥳👍👍👍👍👍👍🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖😇
Steve, the fact that you attempted to find the cause of the interior wear/tear and prevent it from happening in the future is another example why you surpass other cobblers. I imagine many cobblers wouldn't go that extra mile. It is no wonder you're in such demand and who people want to bring their repairs to. Speaking of your coffee time... if you bring in gals in bikinis, you should find some fellas with their muscles to hold the coffee supplies (just joking around). You know, for us lady viewers 😉 Both the repairs and the coffee break are great. Thank you for sharing your videos with us.
I’m not surprised B was the winner - you said it contained Robusta - Robusta beans have more caffeine that the Arabica beans. Robusta beans are supposed to be less expensive and taste more bitter than the Arabica. Personally I like a good Robusta and Arabica blend - best of both worlds and a real strong caffeine hit. Nespresso’s Kazzar is a perfect example (but this is a pod). Did the other blends contain Robusta as well? Superb Coffee chat 🤣🤣🤣 and as usual a great job done 👌 one of my favourite videos of your 👍😎
Steve, great work as always! An honest and caring cobbler...just like finding an honest and competent mechanic...rare and exceptional.......Not just a master craftsman, but one with a good heart. Bless you! So, when are you going to come out with your own brand of "Cobbler Coffee"?
Beautiful.professional job by one of the best craftsmen in cobbling. Love those shark skin chunks boots with the outstanding new soles and lining. I can hardly wate for the next video.
Love the work you do. This is real craftsmanship. Watching every clip you publish. Keep up the nice work you do. Really like the personal touch you add to your work. Hammer on👍

I love to use wooden bowls, spoons, etc. Maybe you could make him a wooden coffee spoon to replace his plastic one.
Coffee with Chris is one of my favorite segments. Keep it!
Last Time I suggested the “The Cobbler Cafe” I still think it’s a good name
Love the show
John
That scone looked marvelous!......FANTASTIC JOB once again!.......thank you for your videos......
That takes me back. Haven’t heard Chukka boat mentioned in years. My dad was a big fan ⭐️
“Chris & The crazy cobbler”?
I absolutly love those shoes, one of the best I’ve seen so far
Cobbler & Chris’s Coffee Consensus.
I love watching a master of anything at work. Especially when the comedy is dryer than freeze dried coffee!

One of my favorite episodes. Liked the resto and the coffee talk.
Great video! I love the fact you are wearing your Indy boots in shorts, glad I'm not the only one who does that!

I enjoy these videos very much, brings back old memories when I was a shoe dept mgr, and one of my close friend was a Shoe Maker, very fond memories.
Loved the Coffee Talk segment. Great video Steve.
I always like to see that you have the coffee pot lighter on you. You are a master of your craft. Awesome before and after pics......lets continue.
Coffee time with Steve and Chris 😃😃 Loving it!!!!!!!! 😃😃😃😃😃😃
Nice re-craft on those. They look nice in the shark skin too.
Pt. 2 Lol. Really loved that coffee break. I'm gonna have to step up my game! I hope you add coffee breaks to all the videos, very cool. Those boots turned out AWESOME.
Doing coffee with a good friend ... Priceless ... Good vid Stevo ...

Coffee Corner with Chris and the Cobbler :D Fantastic job; seems like you undercharged for all that work.
Love the “Coffee Critique Time!” and the jokes Chris and you made. Wonderful craftsmanship and determining the cause of heel lining wear.
I was excited to see a longer video time…but then there was 20 minutes of coffee time. I mostly watch to see you work.

If Cigar Vixen can sell coffee… you definitely should!! Great Transformation on that pair btw…
Knowing how to do stuff is so cool. God bless craftsmen. I want some of those! The rebuilt ones, of course.
Very, very nice. I've seen sharkskin cowboy boots before (spent a couple of years in Texas), but never sharkskin Chukka boots.
I love coffee time with Chris. Can you discuss your favorite cookies or other foods you enjoy with coffee sometime?

Looks amazing, freaked out a few times when I see you cutting with that razor blade.
A Super restoration, they look like brand new boots. Awesome. Also I REcommend a weighing scales to weigh the coffee before brewing. A little Erthritol for sweetness also goes a long way.
HI, STEVE!!! Those are some gorgeous, yet Badass boots! I mean, they weren't really, before. 😉🎩
Fine cobbling and fine coffee, great combo. I typically prefer darker roasts, French and Italian but genuine 100% Kona med is excellent. A friend of mine visited Kona and brought some back a from a farm, excellent and my wife who is Vietnamese turned me on to Vietnamese ice coffee (cafe sua da)which is French roast drip with Longevity condensed milk, excellent but very sweet, great for those 100 degree indexed temps
Excellent travail bravo tu es très minutieux. Le résultat est juste magnifique ! respect ! tu es un vrai artisan
I love the attention to detail! Shoes looks Amazing!
One of my favorite. Coffee ☕made it. Thanks Steve
Yet another Bedozzled pair of boots! Outstanding!!!
These boots turned out really good. Great job.
Like always you do great work with integrity. Thanks for sharing.
Excellent Craftsmanship 👍. I’m just not much for that style of boot. The Quality of materials is top notch..
Great video. Reminds me of my old boots which have a beautiful soft leather tops but a glued on real rubber sole. They are well worn out now. Wish I was in a position to be able to afford to have them done like this!
