If anyone watching this is wondering why their side marker won't just slide off like in the video it's because if the side marker has never been off before it will not come off easy the first time. Once you have it off once you can easily slide it on and off like in the video. However, for the first time you need to pull forward the part that faces the rear of the car a little then use a plastic pry bar on the part that is toward the front. You will hear a pop and actually think you broke it but that's just the clip releasing. Then you can slide it out. It took some force. To put it back in you just do the opposite and it should snap right back.

Seems like a simple process. I would worry about it falling out though (it doesn't look very secure)...

Thank for showing the slight slide motion. In addition I used a small plastic pry tool to make it super easy to take off.

Just did this and it really was that simple. There are a couple coordinated movements you have to do to remove and replace the light with a metal spring holding things in place so it felt pretty secure. Will see. Def looks better
