Hey I’m currently a senior in college and this is something I definitely want to do after I graduate. What do you recommend as far as waiting after I graduate to fully launch my business or is this something I should start while I am still in school. Also I am only currently 21. How do I get past the perception of my young age so that clients take me serious? I was thinking of pursuing further education past a bachelors in accounting though I know this is not necessarily needed to launch this business.
No reason not to start now! Regarding your age, remember that clients are generally concerned with only 1 thing: whether or not you can solve their problems to help them reach their goals. As long as you can clearly communicate that, everything else becomes secondary...your age, your fees, your experience, etc.
Hello, I wanted to ask . When I do a search fir bookkeeping salaries . I see they pay $22.00 dollars and hour . I feel that’s way too low . Any comments on this ?
What you're finding is the salary for bookkeeping employees. As a business owner, you'll always make far more. Check out the study that shows the average bookkeeping business owner makes $76 per hour here: proconnect.intuit.com/taxprocenter/practice-management/the-results-of-the-new-intuit-rate-survey-are-in/
Why would I lie about something so easy to fact-check? Better yet, why didn't you easily fact-check it by doing a simple Google search? You would've immediately found the link where bookkeepers can get their free account: quickbooks.intuit.com/accountants/training-certification/getting-started

Quickbooks is not free! How can you expect viewers to be interested in your products when your opening statement in advertisements is a lie? haha
