That's not true. Other articles stated that one of his sisters lived just 30 miles away and regularly came to care for her. He had known for years that this was the plan. The nearby sister offered to let him live with her, and they offered to help him find a place. These victims did nothing wrong. It obviously made sense to start dealing with some of these details when they were all still in town. With their mom is her 90s, they had many years to know what the plan was and be prepared, and set things into motion after her death.

When someone dies, the estate has to he settled. The brother was going to be getting an equal share. If the will stated that the house was to be sold, there is nothing they could do to change that. The executor of the will is legally obligated to carry out the terms of the will.

The parents home should be for all the parents kids in other words all should be welcomed there. But I do agree when the parent or parents die the house must be sold and split among the siblings.
