- Welcome to the first video of my EVA Foam 101 series!
This is a quick tutorial on where to get EVA Foam and some of the deals out there locally. Many people think that EVA foam can only be found specific places but this type of foam has become widely available. Definitely shop around so you can get the best price and best quality. There is nothing worse than getting it for a good price but the foam is not good quality.

Places In Your Town (United States):
Joanns: Has both Yaya Han Foam products in Various Thicknesses (2mm/5mm/10mm sheets of foam, scale pieces, and dowels) and Colorful Letter Size Sheets (normally for kids crafts)

Hardware Stores (Lowes and Home Depot): Have EVA Foam mats usually for the floor or home gym.

Local Reupholstery Places: Might sell EVA Foam or other closed cell foam. All foams are not created equal so know what kind of foam it is before purchasing.

I need foam that 0.8 or 0.6 for flowers where to buy in B.C. Canada
Hello, Thank you for the comment. I am unsure about Canada but I would check to see if the stores mentioned in the video ship to Canada. In the US, they have started selling EVA foam at local craft stores and even Dollar stores in some areas.

I am not completely sure. I would contact a local foam seller to see if they can supply or know of other online suppliers. I do not create a lot of full creation of shoes so my knowledge is limited on footwear foam. Hope that helps and thank you for watching my video!

Can you use eva for making slippers?
EVA Foam could be used for the inside. Most thin EVA foam isn't strong enough to withstand becoming a full slipper. Like a flip flop. I have seen a ton of people making EVA foam covers for shoes to make boots for cosplay. Those usually are thicker EVA Foam more like the workout mat thickness.
