theres no such thing as mongolian kazakhs, kazakh people r very diverse and of mixed descent, mainly central asian turkic with some slavic/iranic. they look east asiatic bc they are central asian.

They have lived there since 19th century not 20th century. And reason why these Kazakhs did not lose their language and culture is because we Mongols are not like the Chinese/Russians who have an imperialistic mindset. Mongol Khans and later Mongolian government thought it would be best to let the Kazakhs live peacefully and govern themselves. We respect other people's culture and ethnic identity. I hope Kazakh people feel same way as us. In this world with such different diverse people, Mongols and Kazakhs need to be great friends because we share a lot of similarities. We are cousins :)
Batur Bilguun very well said!! My mother is Kazakh but from a very ancient Mongol tribe of Zhalayir, who were Genghis Khan’s generals, but assimilated and became part of Kazakhs, as well as other tribes. They are still very much respected and they usually commence any festivities and toys.

Very beautiful and nice cultural tradition and customs of the Kazakh people! I heard that the Kazakh people in Mongolia preserved their traditional culture and language best among the Kazakh people around the world including in Kazakhstan!
Its probably because kazakh people in mongolia were allowed to use their own language, practice their religion and keep their culture since they have migrated there. Compared to ussr who wanted to make everybody Russian. If you go deep into Bayan Ulgii province you will find Kazakh Tuvan people who can't speak ounce of mongolian.
It’s so familiar to our culture too back when I was little I used to bring the water for them to wash hands and also celebrate by going to the eldest house it brings back so much memories now I live in America and I definitely miss the childhood days so much I miss my grandpa too it’s so nice to see this mashallah.

I miss her everyday, she passed when I was too young to understand much of the world off of the family farm, but I can't think of a person who had such an affect on me and who I would become, it's really nice to see how she reflected this in our Thanksgiving celebrations!

Kazakhs are also predominantly Sunny Muslims which Mongolians are not. Mongolians practice Shamanism and/ or Tibetan Buddhism. They call God “Tengri”. Muslim Kazakhs refer to GOD as Allah.
Just so you know, they are very different from the Kazakh people in general who have been Slavized, they are pure Kazakh people with customs and traditions that are still preserved, because they fled from genocide and the imposition of language culture by the Slavic nations at that time.
If this people lived in russia or China or somewhere they wouldn't talk their own language they even wont recognise it. WE MUST APPRECIATE OUR MONGOL BROTHERS. RESPECT....

Chinggis khan chased him up till the western banks of the river indus. Some mongols/turkics whatever u call it's one at the same remained in Afghanistan then called as bactria or gandhara. Even timur and later moghul ruler babur made a note about these hazaras and their presence in Afghanistan. They practice the shia sect of islam and speak dari a dialect of persian. So culturally they are now more persian but genetically are related and cluster more with Turks/mongols.
