1) I never thought about lacing wood to leather .I've used contact cement and brass wood screws with washers . 2) You did everything with hand tools NO POWER TOOLS. YOU SIR ARE A TRUE CRAFTSMAN :-):-):-):-)
Totally stunning, you have put so much effort into making it and your highly skilled. I enjoyed watching every bit of this video. (Please use a mallet , because you are damaging your tendons in your hands and that would be a great shame , because skilled craft men like you are very rare.) I look forward to seeing more of your skilled crafts.
Hello! You've got a new subscriber here :) the bag looks so cool and elegant. Reaally well done! 8) Could you please tell me what leather you advise for bags? And what leather do you use in this video? Thanks for making and posting the video!
Apet Owner thank you. The leather is flexible craft leather (2mm) I got from eBay . I also wrote a article on the bag. Links in the description. Hope that helps.
Virginia Lee I agree but, there is an article on my blog to explain what I'm doing www.unpluggedwoodworking.com/2017/12/making-wood-and-leather-bag.html?m=1 hope this helps, thanks for watching.
Very nice work. I have been thinking about working with leather for the last little while as well.

Very beautiful my friend. Can we use faux leather too
I'm not to sure, it maybe a little to thin 🤔 but, I haven't tried with faux leather. Thanks for watching.
Perfect 👌
All that work and we can’t actually see what you are doing. It would be good if you changed the angle of the camera occasionally.

Don't say how is done and it's going fast so I give a dislike
Fair enough, but I did write an article explaining the build. Which is stated in the description 🤔
