Sounds like she was trying to get a home equity loan. That's a real thing 🤷♀️

The JUDGE upheld the scammers??? What kind of idiot do they have on the bench out there! She needs to find an attorney who will take her case as high as she needs to go to get a legitimate settlement!
One that applies the LAW! It's wrong but until the law is changed, the Judges hands are tied. Those are facts, not emotions.
😂This is when and only then when squatter rights apply- when it is truly yours as it is in this lady's case. Let her live her life out in peace!
@@robbydockery1272 Unless it was a cop, then laws don't matter to judges, espeically in Mississippi. GTFO.
@@johnsmith1953x BS. That's just an excuse. Judges do not make law in MS.
This is why state legislators are making laws to protect judges' online identity/availability of information. Judges need to hide personal information/their addresses because they are on the $$$ take and ruling like a mob boss... Seems someone is afraid of the repercussions of their actions and using the legislators to hide themselves.
I pray she gets the help she needs. Legally and financially
I hope someone will be able to help her out... this is getting out of control and there should be more laws to protect people from keeping their possessions/money,property, etc from scammers, fraud that's popping up just out of hand now everywhere. This is insane.
SENDING UP PRAYERS FOR YOU , AND YOUR FAMILY.!!!! YOU WILL BE OK, AND THIS INJUSTICE WILL NOT STAND.!!!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Scams like these has been on going for many many years that preys on people who don't know enough to keep themselves from being tricked out of their property. Always be careful who you take help from be it family or stranger.
Nobody will steal from you like family. My late husband’s sisters both ripped him off. They don’t like me because they can’t get in my wallet.
This is not new at all
These people be smiling in your face and stealing your property just sad
No life insurance policy to pay off house? No savings to pay house for a few months until you get a job? Never give anybody your deed to your house.
A lot of people especially black people fail to plan ahead. A decent term life policy would have definitely taken care of her when he passed suddenly. 🙏🏿🕊️
She didn't know what she was signing, just took their word, smh
@charlesgaskin9859, so false advertising, then?
Lots of people unfortunately are in that situation. I’m a widow and thankfully I was thinking ahead and made sure we had enough insurance to pay off the house and all our debt with money left over. I wanted to make sure whichever one of us survived wouldn’t have a house payment. I know people who have lost their house after their spouse died. My advice to everyone is get enough insurance to pay off your house.
@@NenskiTrillLots of Black people don't make enough to pay bills. Especially in Mississippi
Shame on that judge. And the company
This is heartbreaking. Praying for this lady and her kids.
This is so evil! Can't anyone help this woman receive justice?
Do not borrow from your home and do not trust a family member who cannot help you themselves. This is awful!
It's disgusting how relentlessly the elderly are targeted by scammers and companies in this country. Ever since my landlord hit that age....his phone blows up constantly with people trying to sucker him out of money for things he has no need or use for.
God bless this lady. I wish her the best
If a company doesn't require for you to sign a contract or document, and only ask to see your deed, run as fast as you can.
I hope this woman gets some kind of justice 🙏🏾
She is one of the most nicest, positive kindest Queens that I know…Very smart and intelligent…This is so wrong and evil!I pray God restore and overwhelm you and your family with abundance Ms.Naylor!!!
Queen...lol
Amen to that 🙏🏾. She is Beautiful along with her dimples 😊. God will restore!
Did you NOT hear her say,She never signed anything 😢
When I read stories like this , I mind always wonders - where are all the people who claim to be looking out for people of color ? Where’s Jessie Jackson , Al Sharpton , Ben Crump , BLM , and all the other people who run in front of the cameras. Years ago I had a buddy who was born and raised in a poor neighborhood in Alabama and he told me how his family was disgusted by the media people like them who are only on the lookout for themselves. If the cameras were there suddenly - they would be marching and protesting and giving press conferences. But since there’s no media coverage there’s nothing that can be gained by them, they follow the $$$ . Can someone refer her to a lawyer who does pro bono work-
That judge should have been intelligent enough to realize she was scammed. He should have made it right.
I am praying for you dear lady
To the company & people that are stealing from that widow, your earning is cursed, that money will be a curse for them, not worth it. Evil people think they are smart, far from reality.
"Left me as sole income for me, and the grandbabies." Where are the "parents" of the grandbabies?
💯
Maybe dead? On drugs? ill? Stay focused
@@LumiOlpero Depends on the legitimacy of why the parents are missing. This person was having financial difficulties and was taken advantage of. Were her children making matters worse by taking advantage of her as well.

@@LumiOlpero So what's the story about? My first question is, how did this person end up in this situation.
Totally insane that this poor woman has to deal with this. They should expose the folks responsible!
This is heartbreaking. These scammers need to be prosecuted; judges should order investigations instead of letting them get away with these crimes.
This breaks my heart! This woman lost the love of her life and her home in a matter of years. I hope someone steps in and fights to get this corrected. This is so cruel.
That is horrendous!
I can't believe she gave that person her deed.
What's really dirty is the family member did it!
Why don't people consult with lawyers before they do things like this?
@@randomloafer that's really a shame.

The story didn’t cover everything. Why are her wages being garnished if they have already stolen the house from her?
i was confused by that also.
Also, how could she be a school teacher AND a bus driver? I'm not real sure about this story.
@@hannahs_houseyou can be a school teacher and drive buses..
She may be a daycare teacher, not a certified public school teacher.@@hannahs_house
That didn't make sense to me either.
Beautiful house. Rarely do companies come to your rescue because they like you. Always wonder 'what's in it for them?"
scammers are criminals in any way the courts should even be allowed to misshandle hany signed documents in the court of Law ⚖
The judge is in on it
So sad she’s going through this. The old saying goes if it’s too good to be true it probably is. Smh. Prayers to her 🙏🏿
That family member that recommended her to that company needs to be paying to get this fixed. Too many people giving out bad information
🙏🏽 Hope you get you home back.
If a company comes saying they are there to help…they are lying!!
As Black people, we have to begin to have a lawyer/attorney to review/look over any documents involving our houses (for refinancing, cash-out, and when selling) BEFORE we finalize and sign them. We just don't have enough knowledge in this regard ... and there are too many people that are trying to scheme, deceive and manipulate us out of the rightful ownership of our homes. Even if we can't afford it...this is something that we have to start coming up with the money to pay for...this is for our protection.
I pray for this lady that she will get the legal help that she needs in order to get her home back.😢🙏🏽 May God bless her and strengthen her.
I know several white people that have been taken advantage of in similar ways , or have lost a lot of money trying to save a little money . Everyone needs to be careful .
My mother is white and signed her home over to the government when she needed food stamps in her 80’s! She had to get out and move to an assisted living not long after. It’s not just a black thing. It’s people being taken advantage of by people that don’t care how they get their money! They are greedy as the devil himself! 😡
@John-phyllis This is not a color thing genius
Is it only for black people? Can whitey take your advice also ?
Hiring an attorney beforehand should have been a no brainer.
Unfortunately this is happening everywhere! I hope someone can help her, because I know she’s losing her mind!
How can a quitclaim deed be valid if she never signed anything?
I hope she recovers from this, it’s unfortunate.
It has to be notarized. I don’t get that either unless the scammer knows the notary and the notary wasn’t doing their job verifying identification
So sad! Where are the parents of these grand babies she is raising?
That is SHAMEFUL!
It is crazy how easy it is to get a quit claim deed on someone’s property. These laws need to be changed. The relative who introduced her to that scammer should be ashamed and the scammer should be identified and arrested.
Thats wrong, Poor lady...
It should not be legal for companies to exploit people's ignorance of contracts and business to steal their home.
I cant believe the Judge has no discretion to Order the property be returned to the rightful owner. It is obvious this homeowner was scammed by the evidence. The law and and the judge are complicit in this theft if there is no way to obtain justice for this woman...
The world is loaded with scumbags. Never sign anything, never show anything that is personal or has to do with your house or banking. D.T.A. dont trust anyone.
Where is the husband's social security or pension? Where are her children? She must get a lawyer involved.
I agree, where is the Life Insurance?
"squatter in my own home" THIS is exactly why I'm skeptical of this whole squatter issue that's been blasted across all news outlets recently. Nobody seems to be looking into, let alone entertaining, the idea that there's a scam going on with both renters and owners being the victims.
I've heard of some lowlife scams, but this may be the worst. That poor lady.
Someone would die if they tried to take my home like that.
My heart breaks for her I'm so sorry this happened too you! I'm lost for words 🙏🏾
I am so sorry for you having to face this. Thank you for maybe preventing it happening to someone else. This world is upside down.
Someone help her ! Cmon! 🇺🇸 don’t let scammer get away with this!
Never trust anyone who asks for the deed of anything
Imagine if all the energy the scammers use could be used to help people instead of screwing them.
A contract can not be enforced if the signer is not fully aware of the contract's legal intentions and impact if signed. The judge that allowed this must be thrown off the bench immediately and investigated.
