Echo Show 8 Ring Doorbell Alerts - 2nd Generation setup guide

In this video I show you how to set up the 2nd generation Amazon Echo Show 8 so that it will automatically alert you when someone is at the front door.
You are also able to use your Echo show to see who is at the door and speak to them.
This will work with all models of the Echo show including the Echo show 5 and Echo show 10.
It will also work with all models of the ring doorbell including the ring doorbell 3, ring doorbell 4, ring doorbell wireless and ring video doorbell pro.

Thank you but still need some advice on how to fix my echo 8 (2nd version)- I do receive notice on the device however, it is a small picture on the top left side - how do I change the settings so that it is an enlarged picture?

Can i ask alexa to show garden camera(ring security in back garden) view on the screen?

You can, just make sure your ring account is connected to your Alexa account.

If u have 2 devices.. can isolate one device that will tell u motion detector notification and other devices that will just tell u if it has been rung?

I don’t think you can. All the devices you select will give the same alerts.

Echo Show 8 will actually ring and notify you when someone press the doorbell only if your Bluetooth is turned On on your cell phone.

If you do not care for mobile phone alerts and just want the Ring to notify your Echo Show, do you still need to do this?

Mines doesn’t show notifications or neither ring and I have all announcements on

It might be worth disabling the skill and then re-enableing it again.
