Thanks , excellent review. I just purchased this on a whim because of the price and been wanting an esp , wasn't expecting a lot but it sounds descent. Iv'e got 4 guitars already and wasn't looking to spend a whole lot since i just purchased a schecter demon 6 about a month ago , didn't want to push my wife over the edge with another big purchase. I had to order it online from guitar center because the one closest to me didn't have it in stock , i'm hoping it won't need to much of a set up out of the box , i'll probably change the strings and hope for the best. Thanks again for the demo!
Excellent alternative for me! I've been looking for a pretty cheap guitar to experiment with and this is perfect! Besides I'm sick and tired of all the average priced guitars with floyd rose. Great review!
I went to GC looking for something like a hardtail Jackson King V or Rhodes, something with 24 frets and a fast neck. I was willing to spend 2-3 times what this LTD cost new ($180) and ended up leaving with this M-10. It just clicked - felt GREAT and the fit and finish were excellent. A guitar of this quality and price were non-existent when I was growing up!
Hey everyone, we’re checking out this guitar Now watch how good I am 😂 Good riffs and good playing bro, entry Ltds are great guitars for the money. I’m playing my ec50 for the past 13 years. Thank you for this video
@@mikeg.9238 Yo man, I've put seymour duncans (SH 2n and SH4 JB) and it sounds awesome. I have other guitars but wanted to see how good a well playing cheap guitar could sound and the answer is awesome! :D I bought my pickups used for budget reasons, but it sounds awesome now (did before to be honest!)
@@mikeg.9238 Yo dude, I remember us speaking about swapping out the pups on our M-10's for duncans! I've made a video talking about and playing my M-10 with the Seymour Duncans in so feel free to give it a watch and see if you like the sound! Massively improved the sound and mostly sustain. Just thought I'd drop back and let you know brother!
I have this guitar, got mine in 2002. It was my first guitar. In all honesty it was a great first guitar, but time has taken its toll. I am currently looking to upgrade the bridge, tuners and pick-ups!
Yo thank you so much for this! Great playing, great detail, and very natural!! I'm considering this or the EC-10 for my first guitar and so you uploaded this at such a great time!! Have you, by chance, played the EC-10? If so, what do you recommend? Again, thanks for the great video, man!
Thanks! I think the EC-10 would be a great first guitar. It's virtually the same as this guy, but with the Les Paul shape, so if you like that look a little better I say go for it!
Hey man, Im looking to buy my first "metal" guitar after kind of learning haha, I have a way too cheap strat and I wanted to start with this, do you recommend it?
Iv got a Korean LTD MH 10 with seymor duncan humbuckers and a Korean LTD MH 1000 thats pretty much the same as a ESP custom built only a few hunderd and its fantasic ,its stock as and sings sweet ,Iv also got a 80s Epiphone SG with 2 hums and a 80s Ibenez Roadstar with my custom painted Silver and tripleblack burst with pearl and gold flour dust that i did at work in our spray booth at our panel shop, you do not need to spend thousands on guitar to get a good one,all my guitars prob paid $1000 max with extras all used
You are lucky you got one that was decent. I played a Total of 5 m10s at 2 different stores and they all needed fret levels. I ended with a Jackson instead.
Kevin del Busto you gotta be careful with those cheaper guitars, that kinda thing happens. When you say dead fret, is it just too high up and making the string mute? What’s happening specifically? It’s probably fixable with a file and a little elbow grease.
I have the EC-10, I would recommend it. I'm a pretty good intermediate player, and I notice no shortcomings. Stays in tune for days. Picked it up for 99 bucks at guitar center a couple years ago, still my favorite guitar I've ever had.
Hahaha someone noticed! Good eye. I was clipping because this was prerecorded, and the last thing I recorded was the bass, which I turned the input up a bit to level properly. Didn’t turn it back down while I played through this. I didn’t notice it was in the red as I was playing through though.
Dude ...... what's up with your glasses lol ? Either they are sitting on your nose crooked or your left eye is lower in your skull than your right eye ? Nice review though. Keep the vids coming. Love your playing.
Going to look at one today. $115 from Facebook market place. Because of the reverse headstock, I want it for a guitar to put .010-.052 strings and tune to open C and riff some SYL and Devin Townsend tunes.
Just purchased mine last night from GC for $179 + tax came to $192 DAMN!!! What do you think so far , did you have to make any adjustments , intonation etc..?
Those guitars are waaaaay better than the low price . Solid solid guitar
Hey man that opening piece you played was sick 🤘🤓

You are amazing! That's a great video! ❤️
my first electric guitar, its modded now but it is amazing with the original components as well, an amazing start option

Nice breakdown of this guitar, I saw this online and impulsively bought one, definitely looks worth the coins because ESP doesn't make crap guitars
I really liked what you played, do you have any tips on getting that fulness of sound in recordings?
I have an m10, swapped with hipshot locking tuners and now some les Paul humbuckers
I have the M17, I swap the stock pickups, with a Pegasus - Sentient Duncans set... and Its a killer guitar!!
Hey if you don't mind me asking , where did you get the duncans , if it makes that much of a difference i'll switch mine out , thanks..
I did the same to my M-10, it sounds awesome!

I scalloped the fret board on mine on frets 15-22 might do more

Fuck! What a wonderful riff! I'm Brazilian and I have a LTD M10 too! great review man
I got one too
Wanting to get one to mod as well. I love my Ltd ec1000
I used to have one, o replaced the pickups with EMGs ...it became a monster
After reading these comments that seems to be the way to go , i'll do the same when mine arrives in a few days..
Thank you so much, bro, you helped me out, don't give up , you'll succeed one-day with a lots of likes, and subs 😃👌😃
Is it possible to put double tremolo...??
Is this a baritone guitar? I need a guitar that can hit drop a tuning.
Can I play songs ranging from heavy metal to soft rock with this guitar?

any plans to review more Warman pickups?
Just ordered a set last night as a matter of fact.

should I buy the m 10 or go for the ibanez grx 20 ?
Always the Ibanez. Ibanez is superior haha
What’s the song, or is that yours
It's an original. Might be released soon!
David McDaniel I need to know how to play this my guy
Good bigginer guitar?
I absolutely think so. Tuning stability isn’t great, though.

Invest in some locking tuners and new pickups and she'll be a beast
These are $370 in Australia...

Show us clean sounds maybe?
It sounds kinda shit clean, (my personal opinion from owning one) I use a peavey vyper vip 2
