What a gorgeous piece of nostalgia and atmosphere. Loved every second of it. "Used Cows" and "Hours of operation are subject to customers sobriety" Brilliant. Brilliant.
Having seen the layout in person can tell you the video really does not do it justice!!!!! And the owner is one one of the greatest guys in model railroading....
I'll tell you, Peter, your knowledge of this area and the operations is really impressive and moreover adds quite a bit to the video. Layout looks great. Also I have fondness for the "Zebras" because in Paris, Texas where I grew up, the Santa Fe had a Zebra GP-7 and once a very kind engineer let me sit in the cab and pull back the throttle. What a thrill for a kid.
Beautiful ATSF layout. The warbonnet paint on the passenger engines looks spot on. Not the usual overly dark red of factory painted engines. Would you mind sharing what the color mix is? Thanks!
If both trains are numbered 17 (Super Chief/El Capitan), then the second section would identified as 2-17 or Second 17. Due to train orders and dispatch instructions identifying each movement, it would not be possible for two trains to have the same number.
Unbelievable! Wonderful narration of your layout!
I thoroughly enjoyed the information and fun commentary that made up the audio. Well done. Aloha from Hawai'i.
thank you for great detail video on great detail layout
An excellent tour of a delightful model. Well done Mr. Youngblood.
Nice RR, Peter!
A very nice layout, and an interesting presentation. So much detail. Thank you for producing and sharing it.
