The OS will use up some of the dual channel memory and then you are stuck with a mix of single and dual channel memory for your gaming. If they could manage RAM usage better, it wouldn't be a problem. But this clearly isn't the case here. The 1135G7 CPU is about 20% lower in benchmark performance than the 5500U in my Flex 5 though I doubt that matters much here. The real issue is that memory configuration. The 5500U variant would get probably get double the framerate you are getting here with 16GB. Also, Iris is relatively new and Ryzen has been working on getting the most out of Vega graphics for years. I suspected there might be an issue if I went with anything less than 16GB. Turns out I was right. Do you maybe have LPDDR4 in there too?. I think you are absolutely right about the single channel memory being allotted to the GPU. Worse still, it may be allocated a mix of single and dual channel which I suspect would render dual channel moot even on the dual channel portion because the GPU will have to wait for it anyway. I think if even 1B of single channel is allocated to the GPU, this will be the case. It could be even worse than I think because it could be effectively confusing the memory controller and slowing it down. Running the CPU on single channel only cuts fps by like 1/3 when you have discreet graphics. This is half or more. Actually more because the Xe graphics benchmark about 20% higher than the Vega 7. It is pretty crappy to do this to their customers since intel is making money advertising better performance than Ryzen APUs. I would just return the laptop on the grounds the graphics performance doesn't match the benchmarks. I did that with a new GPU recently, though I suspect it was actually faulty. For me, gaming is not a big priority on my Flex 5 but I know there are people who will use it as their only gaming device. This kind of performance would have to be a major letdown. With the exception of Cyberpunk and GoW, these aren't the most demanding games either. This device should, on paper, be able to run Cyberpunk and Elden Ring at 1080p Low with a bit of FSR going and make 30fps+

@@JoTheTechie That's really weird then. It feels like the memory should be running in full dual channel mode as it's soldered, and 6gb sticks not being sold wouldn't seem to apply

maybe recorder reduces game fps
I use a capture card. So, No.
How about sims 4?
Apakah perekam mengurangi fps game
