I can relate to Phoebe’s enthusiasm for treats, sweets and the like from other places. My husband’s colleague just sent us maple cookies from Canada and I felt giddy.

Oh goodness what a Sunday! I hope Phoebe bounces back from food poisoning. I remember being in her position at the same age. My older brother had just left for University up north and suddenly adulthood felt scarily close and the house very empty. I can only imagine how it feels as a Mum! Loving Vlogtober so far 🎃

I've been making my granddaughter a Boo basket since she was a baby! And she's nearly 9. Didn't know it had a name till this year. I don't spend a fortune on it. Maybe up to £20. I usually put some crafty things in it to keep her occupied on those rainy autumn days.
Poor Phoebe but I feel sorry for the mom hahahahahah
Poor Phoebe's friends mum. At 7 am on a Sunday I'm usually walking around a lake feeding swans. ❤ also need to order harris tea 😮

At home with the flu this week so I’m happy to have your vlogs keeping me company. We used to get chocolate sent from Germany every year for Christmas and it was delicious.

We've done a boo basket for the past 8 years or so but didn't realise it was called this. We never used to do trick or treating so they had this instead...some sweets and a bath bomb usually!

Hi Ali, I watch another UA-camr called Hollie Ann Noble and she created a Boo Basket as a gift for one of her subscribers. Boo Baskets are the BIG thing now apparently. Everyone seems to be making them for Halloween. A bit similar to the Christmas eve boxes. I'm not hip and trendy and nor am i down with the kids so even i was surprised about the Boo Baskets. Everyday is a school day as they say. lol. 💀👻🍁🍂
I notice that many vlogtobers mention Halloween decor but no Guy Fawkes decorations. Personally I do Halloween until 4th November and then Guy Fawkes. I have a lovely scarlet Italian fruit bowl which looks like flames and I build a 'bonfire' from satsumas and Matchmakers in it. Then i have a felt Guy who sits on top! Coloured lights like firework colours in glass jars, black plates with coloured sparks all over and I have made a table runner from firework pattern cotton. Gingerbread cake with firework pattern topper and bonfire toffee. Looove this time of year!!! What do you do for Guy Fawkes? Thank you so much for your vlogs, they save my sanity on many occasions:)
Oo I'm listening to Devil's Breath (recommended on Back to Blighty last week) and really enjoying it. Sounds like Phoebe has recovered fairly quickly. Hope the host Mummy has recovered from the trauma!

I adore Halloween and we have a skeleton named “Mr Skelly” who leaves a ‘boo basket’ for my kiddos on October 1st, filled with stickers, a new Halloween book to add to our collection, a stuffie of some kind and seasonal craft kits they can do throughout the month 🥰🎃🍁it’s so fun! Also Mr Skelly moves around the house causing mischief and does silly things every day❤️💀
