I think Ginjo is the character that might have benefitted the most from the CFYOW novels. Getting to learn the truth behind how the Soul Society ruined his life and seeing him be one of the main contributaries to Tokinada's downfall, really added to his story in a good way. Him getting to live a peaceful life with Ichigo's extended family adds to the idea that the two are parallel to each other, as well as the brotherly bond that they formed in the Fullbringer arc.
Ginjo is a foil to Ichigo. I think he met quite the conclusion. But Hisagi too, he really grew up. Before he just viewed the soul reapers as undoubtable heros who saved him as a child but he grew out of it. After finally getting past Tosen's demise he was rewarded with a Bankai and is now the caretaker of Hikone who he can help now. All he had to do was face his fear
@@Atticus-Catnipp True. Hisagi grew a lot, and was finally able to understand himself and what his role should be. Him becoming the one to care for Hikone is a great way of showing that he has matured enough to become a mentor/hero figure, much like Kensei and Tosen were for him.
I do agree that Ginjo is one of the characters that benefited the most from the "Can't Fear Your Own World" light novels. The novel went into great depth regarding his backstory, highlighting the injustices he had to endure. Moreover, the novel showed how Ginjo was able to change his ways and make amends for his past actions. In the "Can't Fear Your Own World" light novel, it was revealed that Ginjo's past was far more tragic than was initially depicted. Ginjo's parents and sister were brutally killed by Soul Reapers who were acting on orders from Central 46, the corrupt ruling body of Soul Society. Ginjo himself was forced to become a Substitute Soul Reaper to protect his best friend, Rukiya Kuchiki. However, after witnessing the death of Rukia's adopted father, Ginjo became disillusioned with Soul Society and eventually turned against them. In the novel, Ginjo became one of the key figures in the downfall of Tokinada Tsunayashiro, a corrupt Soul Reaper who sought to overthrow the Soul Society. Ginjo's actions helped to expose Tokinada's true nature and bring him to justice. In the end, Ginjo was granted a chance to redeem himself. He was invited to live a peaceful life with Ichigo's extended family, and he eventually formed a close bond with Ichigo's sister, Karin. This newfound happiness showed that Ginjo was able to overcome his past trauma and find a place in the world. The "Can't Fear Your Own World" light novel was a valuable addition to the Bleach universe. It provided much-needed depth to Ginjo's character and gave him a satisfying ending.
Tokinada was truly the biggest menace, half of the greatest crimes of the soul society were committed by him and so many characters are what they are bcz of him.
Him wanting to provoke war between humans and Spirits was arguably his worst plot. He was very gleeful about it, even expressing excitement at seeing humans unleash their destructive military hardware. Among the all the antagonists he stands out and worst of all he's a product of his world.
Hisagi describes him as a completely different kind of evil. Aizen was a revolutionary narcissist Ginjo was a tragic foil to Ichigo Yhwach was a overwhelming warmonger Tokinada is the karma of Soul Society
I don't know why but it never dawned on me that it's possible Ginjo knew Isshin as a captain; if his SS days took place ~20 years ago. Makes sense considering he called Unagiya "young lady". Even Tsukishima could pass for being in his late 20s to early 30s. Considering he fought on par with Byakuya as a fullbringer it's not crazy to think he's very experienced for a human.
Tokinada sure inflicted serious damage. To be expected of such a psychopath. Still, at least the Fullbringers have evolved their organization into a wide ranging charity in the human world that helps others with Jackie being a top field agent and Moe surprisingly managing their operations with a portfolio. It's a contrast to Soul Society's nobility who remain the brutal, paranoid and greedy group that they are with added cowardice in the war's aftermath. I'm sure Ginjo and Tsukishima would be proud of the others.
