Erin, I love love love this layout. So much to say about this post. The cards were beautiful. I, too, love mushrooms. I can't tell you how many photos I have of just mushrooms. This will certainly spark some ideas on scrapbooking those. The photo of the group on the tracks is so pretty. You all looked like you had an amazing time. I use Stampin Up products for card making, but have not used them much for scrapbooking. You and your team have inspired me to get out my SU products to make backgrounds and embellishments. If you liked Whistler, you should come a little further east across the mountains to Alberta. Jasper and Banff have lots of trails for hiking, biking, walking; gorgeous scenery and lakes and gondolas and wildlife. 🥾🚠🐐🐻 Of course, there are lots of other places to visit in our beautiful province as well! 🙂 Love your layout btw! I just ordered Volume 1 of the 12x12 Sketch book. I cannot wait to use it at the crop the end of this month. It is so helpful to have sketches with the measurements! I am sure I will be back for volume 2!

Lovely arrangement. The dsp complimented the rustic pictures and added a nice flair. I liked the addition of the mushrooms, bird and greenery
LOL...love your cats!!! Wonderful layout too! Just curious...will you be adding journaling to the page? If so, where would you put it? Oh...maybe in the flip flap you mentioned you would use once you got the group photo?
Hi Karen, the kitties are such fun company in the craft room! I am adding both a flip flap and a pocket plus insert on this layout so I will include the journaling most likely under the Flip Flap. I will have to share the finished layout in a future layout share video.
This layout turned out so pretty…very eclectic with the casual rustic look of the photos vs. the formal feel of the paper. I love how you use circles & tags on your layouts…this one the circles, of course. This made me think of some photos I have of the woods in Ohio. GREAT job! ❤️

I have seen a couple of people now that are organizing their embellishments like this. So far, the feedback has been really good.
@@tmsgaddy I have a lot of pocket pages as I don't do Project Life type layouts anymore. Wonder if I could pop the embellishments in them. Lots of organisation ideas whirling through my head now.
@@SimplyScrappingyes, that would absolutely work, if you would remember to pull it and use them. I would recommend you put a white piece of card stock in each pocket, that way, you can put die cuts on both sides in one pocket. I think Erin keeps her pages in a three ring binder, but the other lady put them in a bin. That way she can pull them a page at a time without having to take them out of the binder. I have tried putting the different ephemera collections in a 5x5 clear pocket, but you still have to sort through them to see them.

I Love seeing Brian and Dave make appearances in your videos. My two kitties, Tigger and Lily love to be in my scrapbook room and get into mischief at night and I find things on the
floor in the morning.
The Nature’s Sweetness paper is so beautiful on this layout! I wouldn’t have thought to use it for outdoor photos, but it works so perfectly with the dies and stamps you chose. It’s so fun to relive these awesome memories as we scrapbook ❤

I am new to your channel. I loved this layout. I am wondering if you find yourself designing a layout around your photos or do you print your photos to fit the layout?
Hello, welcome to my channel! I hope you find lots of inspiring ideas here. To answer your question it is both. If I’m using a sketch I will print my photos to work with the design, if I am creating rom scratch I will print my photos in varied sizes to increase layout design opportunities. I tend to print my favorite photos larger and like to work with both squares as well as rectangles.

Erin- I noticed you stamped the SU stamp on the CS but no foam under it. So can SU stamps be used without foam under it ?
Hello Kim, great question! The cling stamps, the red rubber type stamp, have a built in foam cushion and you do not need a foam pad. The clear stamps can still benefit from having a foam pad but it is not always necessary. If you are having trouble getting a good stamped impression with a clear stamp, then adding a foam pad underneath will usually solve the issue.
Where do you print your photos to get the white frame around please
Hello Virginia, I print all of my photos at home using the Epson picture mate 400. I use an app called Print to Size, but it only works with iPhones. The printer works with anything it’s just the app that is iPhone compatible only. There are several other apps out there, including pic collage, or canva. I was not wanting to bother you while you were on vacation in beautiful Scotland. I waited too long for the ocean ones with embossing, dies and .stamps. It looks like they are all currently unavailable (again). LOL. I don't mind waiting again but if possible would prefer to save a few dollars and get it bundled. Thank you.
