I am glad to know you will be joining Stampin’ Up. I am a hobbyist demonstrator who is very excited that they are going to focus more on scrapbooking. I love their card stock and inks. I look forward to seeing how they intend to focus on scrapbooking. My love is scrapbooking (not so much card making. I tried.). I will miss close to my heart and being one of your VIPs. I am glad I had found you on UA-cam and am glad you will still continue with your channel. Because of you I stamp on my pages and make my own embellishment more often. Thank you!

I'm loving you three CDT's meeting up at SU headquarters, and then combining those memories with the Journey bundle, MWAH! Perfection!! Can't wait for my bundle to arrive! Although I admit I didn't see it coming, I'm so grateful that we'll all have a real home with Stampin' Up! It really feels like a blessing at this point! Thank you once again, Erin, you're the one who inspired me to join CTMH, and I'm looking forward to continuing to learn from and be inspired by you!!

I'm so excited to hear you are joining Stampin Up. Like you, I'm incredibly sad about Close to my Heart closing, but your excitement about Stampin Up has me encouraged. I'm hopeful that some of the amazing CTMH products will carry over. The one thing I will miss the most is the beautiful color palette and the awesome magnetic ink pads. I wish you all the best in your transition and I can't wait to see what you create. Btw, thank you for always explaining your thought process when making layouts, it is very helpful. ❤

The blues in the monochromatic design are very pretty. I like this layout design--might try it in blues but using other colors too. These blues make the photos pop out.

I always learn so much from you! Like in this video, I like how you explained about off setting your photos to take up around the same space as the other page. I'm happy to know you'll still be using your stash that you already have, because I'm not one who only sticks to one product, and I love your videos for the ideas and tips you always share. I am not familiar with Stampin Up products, but I am glad to know that you will be telling me about them. I have been scrapbooking for 30 years, & I don't "need" any more supplies, but you inspire me to try new things. Sometimes I give in & buy when your layouts look so good. I hope that Jayma & Chelsey are going to go to SU also. You three are my favorites on youtube.
I really love this Journey colour and the layout. I will continue to watch your videos, so much inspiration in them. For us CTMH VIPs and customers, it is a bit of a mystery as I for one know nothing about SU so that is something to look forward to, I hope.
Journey is such a beautiful color! There are a lot of unknowns, but I am feeling optimistic. There will be things we miss about Ctmh, and there are things Stampin’ Up! does incredibly well. Many feel it’s going to be the best of both worlds. I certainly hope so!

I am excited for you to join the Stampin’ Up community; I was a demonstrator myself for a while and loved the community. I left because I’m more of a scrapbooker than card maker so the news that SU will expand its scrapbooking section is wonderful.😊
Erin, this almost monochromatic layout inspires me to try something like that, I love how it turned out. And what a perfect choice of colour for the subject matter, honouring the last colour of the year with CTMH as you start the journey to Stampin Up. The stamp sentiment was perfect too. I'm so happy to see how much SU is adopting from CTMH and how great they treated you all.

Erin I would have fellowed your YT with any decision you’d made. I love your style of scrapbooking. I’ll be going to SU but my heart is with CTMH. It has been a hard decision, like most. But really what do we have lose. Such a pretty layout.❤

Beautiful layout & I love the vellum embellishments. I had no idea you could print on cardstock with the PM400! I use it to print my photos, now I'll be looking into printing my journaling as well. Thanks for the tip!
As a fellow maker with CTMH, I have enjoyed seeing what you do with the new product. You are very inspiring and I love your style. I look forward to seeing what you do with SU product as I have moved over as well :)
I hope for a few things as you and other CTMH makers transition to being Stampin Up demonstrators. I hope that the company treats you well and listens to any concerns or ideas you may have. I hope they take scrapbooking seriously this time around as they haven’t done very well with it the last few times. They’ve had page kits, Project Life page protectors and card packs and albums but never promoted anything enough for it to become a real thing for the company. It would be awesome if they created a scrapbooking design team. I hope that they take a page from CTMH and start making more dies to go with the stamp sets. I hope they allow you to continue to use and create with ALL of the things that you have and love and relax their policy of only being able to use and show their current products to your customers and followers. I was a demonstrator for about five years and I couldn’t keep up with how much I had to buy in a year to remain a demo or how products came and went so quickly. I like too many other companies to be constrained by rules that seem so outdated. BUT, I do hope that you find your place as a demo and continue to enjoy what you do. I will continue to watch your videos, as well as Jayma and Chelsey, because I truly enjoy them! Best of luck!

I love ctmh stamps. I think their 'words' are the best, perfect for layouts! I have some stampin up stamps but they just don't have the wordie titles like ctmh. Hopefully going forward they improve on that
I agree, larger stamps and titles is something we brought up during the meeting in March. I do feel optimistic their Scrapbooking workshops are going to be wonderful and they will have the coordinating sticker sheets, die cuts, and stamp set 😃
I really love your style and your layouts are always so beautiful! I’m really sad that CTMH is closing, and I can only imagine how difficult the news was for you and your fellow Makers. I look forward to continuing to watch your content though, I’ll just be using different products than you going forward. Unfortunately Stampin’ Up is a company I just can’t support in good conscience.

Stampin' Up! hopes to have their own scrapbooking workshops ready to launch in the Sept / December mini catalog. Unit then there will be the CTMH branded products they will trickle out in June and then again July or August. I will know more on the dates as we get closer 😃
Who was that? Such a beautiful ginger coat! NO! No other colors for the background, those papers are too beautiful.Journey is the name of the color? It's a lovely blue. I've been a hobby demo with SU since April 2020. I was a scrapbooker, but went head over heels with cardmaking. By now, I've "met" several Makers and boy,oh boy, does that scrappin' virus itch!
This collection looks more teal online on the CTMH website. But here it looks blue?? So is it blue or does it have the green hue?

Hello that is a great question. The older Cricut collections might remain, I didn't really get a for sure answer because it was not a black and white situation, technically they are also owned by Cricut so I certainly hope so.
Love this layout. You are awesome. I know nothing about Stamping Up so I will rely on you to teach me. Do they have catalogs like CTMH and if so how do we get one?
They do have catalogues but you have to buy one from a demonstrator. You can also look at their products on their website but not the catalogues themselves.
@tammyb6497 I can't believe you have to buy their catalogs. That is the only company I've ever heard of selling their catalogs. That does not make me a happy camper.
My demonstrator gives her customers a free catalogue if they’ve made a purchase from her in the last six months. I’m not sure what other demos do. You might want to find one in your area and ask them about getting one.
Erin your so in the know, is the speacial for us makers going over to SU only for Makers, or can our VIP’s do the special offer? Sorry to bother you with this but I figured you would know. This layout is awesome too! ❤
Thank you Mary and you are not a bother. The special offer to become a Stampin’ Up demonstrator is for makers only. Anyone can join but it would be under their regular offering. They do not have a vip program but are rolling out a customer rewards type program soon.

Hi Cindy, my UA-cam, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest will all remain the exact same. The only thing different will be my website, after April my CTMH website will no longer exist and I will have a Stampin’ Up! site instead

What program did you use to type your journaling, for you to be able to print it off on photo printer?

Typically I print my journaling using my all-in-one office printer, but I had a lot of questions, so wanted to show that it can be done on this little photo printer
I’ve used your tip on using Pages a couple times to size some graphic art I found online. The images were just what my layouts needed, so thank you!!
