I LOVED Hellblade! As someone who suffers from Psychosis, I found it genuinely enlightening and as a beautiful way to share some people's (including myself's) struggles.
Yes, Myelin Vikings DID suffer from PTSD, among other things. It's an AWESOME GAME, not merely about abuse, parental or otherwise, but also about the trauma such things do and the mental toll, the surrender to mania, mental illness as both refuge AND burden. Whether the new game will continue those themes remains to be seen.
9:07 you were asking about Hela. My viking lore is a little rusty, but I think she's actually Loki's daughter along with Fenrir the wolf and maybe Jurmungandr the world snake too. I think the Marvel characters are just based on the Viking gods and they have shenanigans loosely based on lore.

Ninja theory went to great lengths to capture what it's like to live as someone with schizophrenia, involving multiple individuals with different symptoms who were brought back throughout the development process to ensure its fidelity.
