    So clean the stations were in those days the staff kept on top of things,even track side looks clean ,loverly video .

    Dirty, smelly, rusty and sheer bloody hard work - but oh how I miss the raw power and earthiness, spiritual even, of those days, replaced by plastic, antiseptic modern life. Nostalgia - sure, that's what these engines told beautifully through your film does for me. Thank you.

    Thanks for posting a super nostalgic trip back in time, Thats the first time that I have seen Clifton Junction as it was. P.S. the Saint Helens Canal enters the River Mersey at Spike Island -not the Ship Canal,
