I haven't ever seen a pre cast basement, Everything around here is poured in place. Since your cut is only 6' will they have 2' of foundation showing? Or is it a overly deep crawl space? Those off set stakes are nice too, usually the builders stake them here and its just corners, leaves you guessing some of the time.

+movindirt This was the first and only builder I saw who used the precast walls. The 2 foot difference that you refer to will be used to create a slope away from the house. These lots are relatively flat so they are set a few feet high. By the time you use up the spoils in the backfill you have a nice slope away from the house. At the end of the day, we don't necessarily need the offset stakes but it makes life a lot easier for the wall guys.

Excellent video. I am confused about one thing, though. If they give you top of footing, wouldn't you have to subtract the thickness of the footing as well to get your dirt grade? I never worked with those precast walls so forgive my ignorance.

Yes, sorry if I was unclear. When they give the top of footing number we subtract the footing thickness to find our total cut. These precasts work the same way with the exception that they put down a stone footing rather than a poured footing.

Do you own this company? Is the tracked skid loader and case excavator your only equipment in the fleet?

No, I worked for this company. We had the case excavator, a cat 315, d5, d3, Komatsu pc20, and the Mustang skid steer. We also had 3 triaxle dump trucks, one quad axle and a semi with a Chicago box trailer.
