"There's just someone on a canoe!!!!!!!!" Okay!!!! I'm pretty sure I have watched all your videos and that is the first and last time I will hear that!!!!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Today’s avionics is so capable but also so complicated. I imagine it’s a great feeling to get some personal attention. Good to see you and one eight seven niner Lima!
This is so cool! Not a pilot but I do mess with electronic equipment as a hobby. Navigating through all the capabilities of new equipment can be tough at first. Much respect Captain Val for making it look easy. Outstanding student, outstanding teacher! Thanks for bringing us along!
Captain Val, your going to love those Avidyne navigators! Very easy to learn! I Love my IFD540. Thank you for sharing & I look forward to your next approach! :-). Don/NE Ohio
Captain Valerie is now an Airline Pilot ! All that automation is gonna be fun! Don't for get to fly the aircraft! 😊 Seriously, I suppose once you get these aids down pat, then they will be a great help in flying especially in dodgy weather conditions. Well done Valerie ! Very cool.
Valerie, greetings from the frozen State of Maine! Thanks for another interesting video - well done! Hopefully will see you and Eric at Sun 'n Fun in April?
Beautiful panel for a none pilot it gives me a brain freeze. I am enjoying it.

Great video as usual. I can see that you are also using the Sentry device! I have been using it since severall months now … and it is great especially while in IMC without any air traffic services!
Hi Val, long time no see. Good to see you again. I trust you are staying warm down there. Freezing here in Colorado, but sunny and beautiful weather. Was the plane shaking that bad or was your co nervous? Love the sound of the twins powering up. I am amazed that you were able to still concentrate on flying the plane with all the instructions Chuck was going through with you. Obviously you are a quick learner as it seemed you were navigating the instruments on your own. Just some amazing technology you now have available to you. And I am sure you were getting all this data organized in your head to be efficient with your time while flying. I found this instruction very good but somewhat distracting. Excellent job Val, see you in next vid.
How quickly you were following directions while still monitoring flight. I had a hard time just following along with the video. Enjoy your new electronics
I’d feel better learning this type of system in a simulator instead of in the air in VFR conditions…was a little nervous for you with your attention away from outside the aircraft. I’ve never seen you fly VFR without a flight following from ATC.
Thank you for your feedback. You have to understand this was not my first time learning about our new system. I’ve spent many hours with Mike from AVIDYNE going over all the features using their simulator. Also, Chuck is very familiar with this area and we were both actively looking outside and inside. Pretty remote and quiet area.

Great vlog Val, getting the hang of the Avidyne system, take care.
Alot of great information to take in. Thank you Capt Valerie.
I’ll get the manual out and study the procedures how to set up the radios

Chuck is the coolest.
Was the Aspen 10 degrees nose up onto ground during the takeoff roll?
: )
Val if you ever need to get recurrent again I’ll be your safety pilot
Sounds good Bernard!!

What there is the active runway ya’ll. Baron departing runway 1. What is the active runway there?
(Expletive deleted) have we come a long way from the Jepp case!
I know that we are not supposed to covet thy neighbor's wife, but what about their Baron 58TC?
Love watching this!!! Employ a company like Promo-SM!!
