    Bottom up is a wonderful mod to kettlebell exercises. Great for grip strength too.

    Hello, I've been watching your content for a few months now. I am also a PT, and I found you when looking for treatment ideas for a weightlifting patient of mine. I really appreciate your perspective and keen observation skills! Thank you for sharing.

    Technically/Specifically, the windmill variation shown is a 'low windmill' or 'kneeling windmill'. The 'usual' KB windmill is a different exercise, done upright or in standing position.
    The KB arm bar is also a great exercise for the purposes mentioned in this video.

      @efisgpr Рік тому +1

      Thanks, you seem to know a lot. I thought it was like a bent press or maybe French press. About to drive somewhere so I didn't google first

    • @shantanusapru
      @shantanusapru Рік тому +1

      @@efisgpr Thanks!
      I'm not an expert, rather, maybe an intermediate in my KB journey/development...but I do know enough about this...and enough to know when to get/seek help from my betters... :-)
      The bent press is a different beast, although it looks quite similar to a standing/upright windmill.
      It's a very technical exercise with, arguably, lesser 'real world' benefits, and is, perhaps, a bit more difficult to teach/learn(?). Which is why most coaches either don't teach it, or teach it quite later in a person's KB journey/development...
      Personally, I think it's a great exercise, but it *is* more technical & has a higher potential of injury if done wrong...

    The upside down kettlebell press is one of the best shoulder stability exercises that I've done.
    I used to have pain in left shoulder after exercising but since i've starting doing the upside down kettlebell press.
    The pain is completely gone😮

    I didn't realise how difficult Kettlebell presses are until I tried them, I can easily lift dumbells almost double the weight but kettlebell wiggle like anything.

    Wow, can you please do a breakdown of hip/shoulder routines we can do that won't impact gym sessions if we lift heavy (5x5)? Your content is amazing I'm learning a lot. Just did your "best squat routine" this morning and had much better form plus no pain in my groin area. 👍

    If you don’t have kettlebells try doing bear crawls, nice and slow without allowing rotation. My shoulders are garbage and these have been lighting up the muscle without taxing my joint.

    hello there i doubt that you'll see this comment but i have some level of shoulder problem specifically doing dumbbell shoulder press where the elbow joint of my right shoulder always have a pop sound or a clicking sound every time shoulder dumbbell press not to mention even if i use light weights like 20 lbs. it still does that same clicking/popping sound in the joint and has been for about 3 years.

    hey, whenever you talk about bulgarian split squats you say to put 90% of your bodyweight on your front leg, but I feel like that's extremely difficult, you'd have to use a very wide step and lean forard a lot. I think it's more like 75% of the weight on yoiur front leg and 25% on the back leg
