@KriticalKris Well that makes sense corruptors are literally built for war and metal devils are getting huge but they wouldn't be very effective in the game these things over heat like hell so if you're fighting in a place that doesn't have a big Open water source your metal devils are pretty much useless

It's really impressive how many machines are in this game, all with cool designs and unique attacks/animations
Yeah, it’s a shame the game was overshadowed by other releases again and by Aloy being such an overly talkative character

@@huwfairley693 the talking doesn't normally annoy me, apart from one side mission where you have to take down two Apex Grimhorns and a couple of bellowbacks only for her to suddenly start rambling on about some viewpoint collectable in the area!

No there is no dragon machine in HW
No, i don’t don’t think we are getting another game(or new machines), the newest we are gonna get are the VR game(without Aloy, its a different character) and a live action show coming out probably in the next year or two.
I’m hoping we get some insect ones.
The skydrifter is based off a archaeopteryx,plowhorn and grimhorn are a pentaceratops, longleg is a terror bird, redeye watcher small raptors, while the clawstrider are bigger ones, sunwings are quetzalcoatlus, rollerbacks are a mix of ankylosaurus and pangolin
Longleg is an emu/ostrich, sunwings are pterodactyls (dont know where you got quetzalcoatlus from), and Rollerbacks are just ankylosaurus.
@@callumrangan1061 Quetzalcoatlus had long necks and beaks with small crests on their heads like sunwings and terror birds had big heads just like longlegs
@@KingWolf-vy1jm quetzalcoatlus are also extremely huge, much longer beaks, smaller crest, and wing flaps longer than it’s body length from arm to tail. It’s a pterodactyl. The long leg I’ll concede though

Highly recommend picking up the first game. Me and my wife have been playing through and just beat the story. One of my favorite games of all time
@@cu5197 I can assure you, I was born after 1965, this was never my genre of game when I was younger. I played more lego star wars, COD, Railroad Tycoon, Forza that sort of stuff. I'm also not a hardcore gamer.

I love when games have different biomes with different creatures residing in them, especially aquatic habitats as they are my favourites.

A big weakness of many small machines is that some can be taken down by a single braced shot to anywhere
Wrong. Try doing that when you are just starting out at level 1

Oh God tbh the skydrifters have me trouble at first 😂😂 i didn't know how to truly deal with them effectively and died a few times to a group of them on my first encounter XD
Man, while these machines are deadly 😅, they are incredible 🤩. Imagine if the Dark Souls hiden boss song started playing when Tremortusk, Stormbird, Thunderjaw, Slitherfang, Shellsnapper or Slaughterspine attacks 🤔

The machine i had the hardest times with are the Clamberjaws, Fireclaw, and Thunderjaw. A duo of ravagers with the behemoth gave me a little problems but the first three were the worst
Is cool to see that old robots are also in the new game
Just imagine the Thunderjaw and the Slaughterspine fought eachother like in JP3

Scortcher looked much more like a lynx to me
I think it's based on old Egyptian dogs that were also lynx-like, like depictions of Anubis. The sounds are more canine imo. It would make more sense for there to be a more silent, stealth and frost based machine a bit smaller than a scorcher but more physical than a stalker. We better see em in the next one 👀
i almost feel bad for specter prime for the one reason that it would really suck being basically a god of the world but being killed by some person with a bow and arrow.
10:02 saying they are like emus is quite incorrect as they appear more related to ostriches with their jumping and such along with being a similar size and not staying in herds

Pretty sure the Rollerback is based on Ankylosaurids not Pangolins
Still waiting to get this game but I want to play it on ps5. Might just have to give in and get it for my old PS4 for now
I'd probably wait if I was in your position. The performance mode on ps5 is insane, though i feel like a ps4 would struggle to give the same effect
@@ryanwallis1121 got it for my base model ps4 and only crashed once which i was very surprised about and it wasnt struggling as bad as i thought, so about the same as the first horizon

I think the clawstrider is more like a utah raptor. Cuz its huge and has feathers. Jurassic parks raptors were volocci raptors. And those from jp are fake. The real life veloci raptor was about the size of a turkey
When the book the movie was based on was written, Velociraptor referred to that whole category of dinosaurs, not just one species. I don’t know why the term changed, but it did.

Alligator snapping turtles would make its shell look like a mountain range. It’s definitely a snapping turtle, but not an Alligator snapping turtle.
