    Hi there,
    I've been watching your videos for over a year now and I can say this is one my fav detailing channels. I was wondering if you could make a video on Essential detailing tools to carry in car for a long trip, like jungle or a mountain, where there's no source of water or just limited water. I have few things in my mind-
    1. IK foam sprayer
    2. A small wiper (to wipe down the foam from car as there would be minimal water)
    3. A portable Vacuum cleaner
    4. Few Microfiber towels (to be used after wiping the wet areas using kitchen roll maybe or something disposable)
    5. Foam shampoo
    6. Tire clean and shine spray
    7. 1 or 2 ltr. of water bottle for foam sprayer (depending on size of car)
    P.S- When cleaning interior pls clean the roofliners and door window channel when the glass is fully down.

    Hi, wow, you’re doing such an amazing work ! I’m getting a brand new XC60 next week and I was wondering if you are taking new clients to make the same detailing job. I’m from the north shore of Montreal. Thanks !

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  Рік тому

      Yes I take care of customer vehicles. In fact most of the vehicles you see in my videos are from customers.
      I took care of a new XC60 Recharge last week. You’ll see a full video about the detail job in July.
      I only offer one detailing package and it’s the total interior/exterior new car prep including application of a ceramic coating on the paint.
      To give you an idea of the updated service, see a video I made about a customer’s new Audi Q7 here: ua-cam.com/video/t7HCBSVnizM/v-deo.html
      If you want a ceramic coating, you have to make sure you give clear instructions to the dealership prior to taking delivery. They must only wash the vehicle using a pH neutral wax-free shampoo. No wax or sealant applied to the paint! That’s crucial. They always apply some crappy cheap wax before delivery. Big no no. And no tire gel. Just clean the car inside and out so you can inspect it on delivery.
      And then, the earlier you have it detailed, the better.
      You can find my email in the “About” section of my UA-cam page. ;)

    What do you suggest I use to clean/protect the real wood trim in my XC90? It does not have the glossy coated trim.

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  8 місяців тому

      Not many products can do much about that surface, but there is a recent one that can be applied to protect and won't change the appearance. Here's my video: ua-cam.com/video/7Od8Rl_5f4Y/v-deo.htmlsi=aQjuvOPa2EEcyVp7
      The brand says you can apply it to pretty much any interior surface, except for glass: plastics, leather, vinyl, piano black trim, metal trim, wood trim, infotainment displays, fabrics, carpets, upholstery, alcantara, instrument cluster, etc.

    Hey pan I need your advice. So I haven’t properly cleaned my car quite a while now, I just use drive thru car washes when I have time, life is just so busy right now so I’m wondering what advice you can give me to protect my car, it’s been a year since I put any paint protection on it. It rained here and I see that my car is not needing or whatsoever. My car has great paint on it still. It’s 2015 bought it brand new. so in short what is the efficient way for me to protect it? I want to use the turtle wax seal and shine but before doing that I want to prep my car first but no pressure wax across just garden hose and id rather not clay it due to time crunch. Can you please help me out? I was thinking, wash it, then use iron remover then rinse it, dry it then use the seal and shine. But if you have any tips please let me know. Thank you so much!

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  4 роки тому +1

      Thanks! The white Honda Accord in the CQuartz Lite video was actually my parents’ car so it’s simple for me to give you an update. The coating was applied in late April 2019 and lasted a good 7 months. Car sleeps outside and they wash it about once a month. I purposefully did not apply toppers for regular maintenance to see the coating’s real world performance so it did great. If someone applies this and does a more regular maintenance, I could see this going 7-9 months easily.

    I have the same care and want to know what to do to protect the wood trim. It appears to be real and i have seen cars with this wood where the wood has gotten wet and actually started to splinter and swell. Any ideas or products to that you have tried and would recommend? Thanks in advance and love your videos. Have learned a ton.

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  2 роки тому

      That's a million dollar question as it depends what kind of wood (fake or real) and if it's coated (with a clear coat similar to your paintwork). There aren't any real solutions to wood trim unfortunately, other than using an interior detailer that ads UV protection. Here are two that I like to use:

    Hey Pan im definently a subscriber and see you as one of the best 🇨🇦🤴KINGS of automotive detailing! Your fine detail, experience and balls to stand behind great products and rate them is the ultimate! And should be saluted! I have a question. Cause im going to use 4 items. Carpro c-quartz and gliss. Then the last coat and woowoo's show stopper. So after 5-7 days after the C-quartz and Gliss i know to use the last coat. So how soon can i use woowoo's show stopper after the last coat?? P.S. at the old house when you showcased the white Audi after you were done that was a SICK f#@ckin beat love it great choice!

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  4 роки тому +2

      Thanks Shawn! But you would be doing overkill by applying all those products in such a small timeframe.
      I would recommend that you apply CQuartz and Gliss. Wait 7 days before the first wash. Use TLC2 after 3 months. Show Stopper you can use after each maintenance wash once the car is dried up. It only lasts 1-2 days. What it does is add insane gloss.

    Might be a dumb question but will it hurt the paint if you clay bar a car that doesn't need it?

    • @JWL-UK
      @JWL-UK 4 роки тому

      Yes! More or less damage will depend on how aggressive the clay is, lubrication and how heavy your hand is 😉. Seriously, use Auto Fanatic's Secret Weapon if paintwork does not need or you're not sure if it really needs claying.

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  4 роки тому +1

      A claybar is a mild abrasive. So you typically follow that up with paint polishing to remove any marring left behind. Inspect the paint after claying and you can decide if you can skip the polishing stage.

    So Pan is this order correct?
    1. Wash and dry your car
    2. Apply clay kit to your car
    3. After it gets dry, polish your car for minimal swirl marks.
    4.Clean it with microfiber towel
    5. Spray isopropyl alcohol
    6.Clean it microfiber towel again.
    7. Apply ceramic coating
    8. Let it dry for 30second then clean it with microfiber towel. Do this by section section -> Apply ceramic coating - wait 30sec - dry that section
    9. Then use silica spray
    10.Let car sit at garage for 24 hours
    11. You are done
    Is this right? Do you want something to add? (Do you reccomend, Meguiars deep crystal ceramic coating? And does it apply the same 30sec removal time? Thanks...)

    Pan, you are the man, best detailing channel in YT. I dont know why but even if Im bored I come back to your full prep videos and watch them just to enjoy the quality that you do.
    It would be awesome if you can do a Carpro vs Gyeon video, which SiO2 products are better...

    I couldn't get over the gloss and reflection... 🙈
    I bet the owner was over the moon after seeing the car detailed at this level. 😁😁
