El Ten Eleven helped me through undergrad and into med school. As a doctor, I look back on those hours I'd spend listening as I crammed in books and worked out. I loved the lack of words, just letting your mind be free with good tunes.
So.... i hear this on one of our many internet provider radio stations (you know, wont plug it). anyhow, i was blown away right off the bat, being a musician i understood note for note the power of this music. I honestly envisioned a band of four hipsters persay.... well i have to say, HOLY SHIT! My jaw dropped when i saw this video....speechless. im just blown away, THIS IS MUSIC. two guys one impressive wall of sound, moving and passionate is an understatement to describe these artists's, true artists's. El ten eleven who ever you guys are, THANK YOU....
I can listen to this all day. I enjoy all their albums, and found them cathartic to listen to in law school, and find them equally pleasing and almost focusing now that I am an attorney. There are few bands I can listen to and do something as complex as drafting a summary judgment motion or reviewing a case file, but el ten eleven is certainly one of them. They bridged my gap between following Phish and becoming an attorney, and it says a lot that they have endured as one of my newer favorites.
The reason I keep coming back to this guys is not because of the lyrocal content (because their is none obviously) or even because they're more technical on either of their instruments. It's because they're bloody thought provoking!!! Man these guys take me somewhere else every time I just want to sit and think.
@jguidotti72 if you look you can see he has two different boss rc-20s, so that means a lot of capability there already. then he has a digitech JamMan looper as well. I also see an octavizer, digitech whammy pedal, an xp100 whammy/wah pedal, chromatic tuner, a dd-20 delay, bass overdrive, and the green one is a boss tremolo, and my guess is a blues driver on the top far right of his right pedalboard. :D
When I saw them last Fall, he actually had two separate Blues Drivers (different gain settings) and I'm fairly certain one or the other was on the whole time.

they don't need a singer, they've already achieved critical acclaim and released 5 albums as an instrumental band. that's the way their fans like them.

Looks to me like some 16 in hh hi hats, and on one of the other videos I saw prototype written on it. I think greenbrier music sells something similar if you were interested.
Nothing against El Ten Eleven (in fact, this song is awesome), but show me examples about the "critical acclaim" you mentioned. And, please I'm not trying to convince you in nothing
