- Using Alexa, a woman interrogates the nature of consciousness whether human, animal or man-made, as she walks through the woods, dragging electrical cords behind her like bread crumbs.

honey wake up theres a new cecilia condit video
From 1980's to now, and this woman still lives in her art. This is a dream life ✨
After all these years, she still cooking 🥹

I usually dont comment things like this, but i genuinely just love your art. I cant even begin to describe how much admiration i have for these projects. Speaking online obviously makes speaking through text less personable, but just so you know this random 15 year old kid has been watching and rewatching these and feeling an amount of emotion that i cant convey with words. Genuinely very pretty :]
Thank you so much. I so appreciate that! Cecelia
Cecelia honestly is inspiring me to make short films like this cause the imagery she uses in every video is genius
Hi, Thank you so much!!! Best wishes, Cecelia
To think that this woman made a Shortfilm in 1983 and in 2020 it became extremely popular is crazy.
I love your take on AI! I’ve become accustomed to the usual take on AI being overtly negative and like it’s a parasite, but I enjoy your take much more. When evolved, AI may be complex. They could have hopes and dreams like humans, or simply want destruction. We just don’t know yet. I enjoy how your films explore these types of themes!
Thank you Cecelia for another work of art. Happy New Year to you! I wish you love, health and happiness! 💜
Thank you Belle and wonderful wishes for a wonderful new year!
@@ceceliacondit ❤️
After watching Possibly in Michigan, I am so really glad that you are still making contents. Keep it up Ma'am.
i love how this film explores the themes of how AI and technology in general has become so intertwined into our loves, with the woman finding cables randomly throughout the woods in places where they shouldn't be, like how it's making its mark on nature (and the fact this was made in 2021 when ai wasn't as everywhere as it is now.....)
i particularly REALLY love this exchange:
"i could replace you"
" i could unplug you"
here AI is potray as a powerful force that could do things no human can, yet at the end of the day it's manmade. we can dismantle ai whenever we want when it becomes too much and yet we dont, because it's become such an ingrained part of our lives that we don't know what to do without it. this creates an peculiar relationship between human and ai that i think you explored really well in this film :)
(i want to clarify that while i used "ai" here i mean technology in general)
3 years laters and its crazy to see how AI keeps each time more intertwined with your reality and I really love how the movie explores it, the uncertainty of all this. loved to revisit this video years later, cant wait for your next work!
love from brazil cecelia ❤
"its hard to have a body...sometimes" i love u cecilia
I believe Cecilia is a rare type of witch. But a good kind witch. Whom has a different view to art and the world up to the normal eye and Cecilia shows us this through her videos.
I'm addicted
Witches were never bad, Christians just mad up those evil tales. I’m Wiccan myself
Very poignant and beautiful Ms. Condit! Especially currently (2023), where AI art vs traditional art is a big topic. This film mentions that AI has not learned how to love or have emotions- and I think that's why I dislike AI art. It lacks the soul love and emotions give pieces of art like this one. "It's hard to have a body... sometimes." is something a robot could never understand.
Cesium, Yes, It will be very hard to have an AI base out of a body self identification even though they may eventually look and act human. Having a body is a very complicated experience somehow. It is quite personal to everyone. I think so any way. Best, Cecelia
Cecelia I am absolutely in love with your art. You are such an inspiring woman and your work touches me so much. Thank you for this
I showed the possibly in michigan video to my baby cousin expecting him to get scared but instead he laughed when he saw those men in the animal masks and i think you're his favorite now
Thank you!! Very sweet!! Cecelia
i’ve fallen in love with your work. it brings comfort when i start feeling disconnected from the things around me
hi, i used to watch christian novelli on here too. it's only a few short videos but in a time where i couldn't find anything else like this i had those so i figure ppl who share this feeling would enjoy the videos:)
Underrated work of art
Thank you Roger!
Hell yeah new Cecelia just dropped
Ah the woman has such a gentle, calming voice and delivery. This video feels sublime.
This is something I do appreciate about the internet. It has the ability to put things back into rotation to be seen by whole new generations.
This is beautiful Cecelia, I’m so glad you’re still making films. I found your page from Possibly in Michigan years ago and recently I visited again to see if you’ve been posting and you have! Thank you for these masterpieces, the shots you use in your videos are so pretty and the storytelling is wonderful
Agreed. Such amazing storytelling. Ill always love these videos, come back every so often as well to check in and rewatch.
Cecelia you have grown now even since the "Possibly in Michigan" you made. I'm always a fan of your musics!
I'll try to make the next one a musical - at least kind of... (: Cecelia
I always find my way back to Cecilia when I'm feeling particularly lost
Wow, I never realized that until you said it. But yes, I always do eventually come back. And right now I do feel very lost
Sometimes feeling lost is a thing we have in common! Best wishes, Cecelia
Whenever I watch your videos I feel the room get colder and want to learn more about your stories, thank you for making these amazing works of art
Thank you so much! Cecelia
these films are so underrated and i firmly believe they are some of the most influential pieces of media for modern filmmaking nowadays. cheers! ❤ with love, Hestia
Thank you Hestia! Cecelia
Cecelia, just discovered your bizarre cinematic world and I'm in love with it... Great.
I'm so glad! Thank you, Cecelia
I love your films, it's really very inspiring! When I get bored I like to watch your videos, I really like the old aesthetic they have, when I see them I would like to make videos like that, with a lot of creativity, you make a lot of art. 💗
love you. -Ari
Thank you so much, Ari! Cecelia
"Its hard to have a body" is so real
Dear cecelia, you are an inspiration to many people, you are synonymous with talent and art, the way you describe it, makes me feel curious, and happy, I hope you don't change that inside you, thank you for everything.
Dear Twelve, Thank you so much for your thoughts and the reminder to stay focused. It seems I can only make one kind of work even now as I grow older. I can decide on a subject but then, it defines itself. Always about women though, my life and others I know and love. Hugs, Cecelia
Beautiful and thought-provoking. I am glad to see you are still creating, as always. May 2022 be a plentiful year for both you and your creative endeavours.
Thank you so much for writing Max! And my your 2022 be a fun!!! Best wishes, Cecelia
Cecelia, you're a visionary, truly ahead of your time and amazing in every way!
Thank you! 😊
No one:
A good ai description video:
this needs much more attention and appreciation
It is interesting, I think so often we project our idea of life and emotions onto artificial intelligence because we struggle to conceptualise how they would perceive the world. Our emotions are chemicals firing off through our brains and bodies through different receptors and creating responses, AI don’t have that. They can’t desire, they can’t be happy, they can’t be upset, they can’t hate, they can only follow programming. I find it hard to imagine what that would be like. I think this comes across well in your video, Cecilia! I really felt the coldness, emotionlessness of Alexa. Especially when she said “I’m not trying to be rude”. Your work is always so thought provoking! Thank you for inspiring us with your content
i was reminded recently of one of your short films i was obsessed with and only now am i realizing that you are the original poster, this whole time I thought somebody else was posting them on your behalf but it turns out you were posting them yourself! I admire your dedication to be doing this for so many years and doing it so well. it made me want to check out your other work and it did not disappoint, I absolutely love this video (sorry for the lengthy comment)
Hi, if you haven't watched it already. Check out Possibly in Michigan 1983.
There is a dark story to that video. Cecilia apparently dated the "unicorn killer" and that video was inspired off of that. From what I hear/read.
OH MY GOD HOW DID I MISS THAT YOU UPLOADED LIKE FOUR MONTHS AGO?? I completely thought I would never see another wonderful work of art from this channel. I’m incredibly happy to be wrong
Please continue creating, it’s been a while since I checked your channel, I miss these
I just learnt about all your creations and i must admit it was love at first sight. Hope you are doing fine, much apretiations from Spain!
Seeing your work always brightens my day. You have so many incredible stories to tell and Im glad youre still uploading them :)
Thank you so much! I am happy you like them! Cecelia
5:42 - … to which LadyA would reply: "See, that's my point; humans get tired, AI doesn't."
Cecilia, you seem like a wonderful person to converse with and be around. Great video!
Oh thank you! Cecelia
I hope she gets more recognition!!
I'v been binge watching all of her stuff lately and I love it!
Every time I see something by Cecelia, it feels so fully realized and intentional in a way that only masterworks are. I believe her name will be up there with Maya Deren or David Lynch. A star, individual and luminous beyond belief! I aspire to create art a tenth as affecting as this. Like, kudos x 10!
Thank you so much Alex!! Cecelia
Another beautiful work of art. You are a fascinating human being!
Your art is so incredible. No words can describe how it makes me feel; but whenever I am in a bad place mentally, I watch your short films, and get a sense of clarity, surrealism, peace. I look forward to seeing what you create next, its always a pleasure seeing such raw content. Thank you for sharing part of yourself with the world.
So what inspired you to begin film making?
Woops! Sorry, mate! UA-cam had a bit of a fit! 😅
Thank you so much! I seem to make work about issues I'm working through. They give me more courage, I think. Love, Cecelia
Cecelia I loved this so so much, the line “it’s hard to have a body” hit me, I love the visuals of this so much too ❤️ (also loved the “I could unplug you!” Line!) the AI trees with the birds were so pretty. A sense of dread but with beautiful surroundings and sounds of nature, your films always suck me in ❤️
so glad youre still making films
imma just go ahead and say it, i'd love to see something by you and jack stauber i feel like you have very similar styles
i was overcome with joy when i found out that you had posted something new, even seven months later!!! keep doing what you’re doing cecelia!!!
Thank you so much!! (:
Someone told me that you are the director for the perfume song I came here and was pleasantly surprised to find out you still have an extremely unique way of telling stories subscribed!!!
Thank you so much!! Cecelia
Always admired your sense of theme and imagery! My absolute favorite artist, have an amazing new year!
I don’t wanna sound like an art snob but Cecelia and her team is VASTLY under rated. from the sound work, to the camera angles, everything was a conscious choice.
All best Cecelia - in Paris with book launch and screening of yet again another provocative film probing human nature - so nice to find your post earlier today - XX mj
Many thanks, Mary Jo!! Cecelia
Cecelia, your art is just so beautiful. I have no idea how you portray such hard to explain topics so perfectly, and I hope to one day have even half of the creativity that you show in these videos.
absolutely incredible. thank you so much for making and sharing this, it makes me want to explore my own art with as much curiosity and as little compromise as possible!
This is a beautiful video, I appreciate it very much! And the setting is so pretty
your works are so inspiring.. we missed you cecelia !!!
Your art has changed the way I think about creating art myself. You’re a big inspiration, thank you!
Amazing Cecilia! All of your films always give me such an indescribable feeling, thanks for making the art you do : )
i adore your videos, you’ve really inspired me into taking film/photography classes in school. keep doing what you’re doing it’s incredible!
As a film student, I am inspired by the symbolism presented in this short. Something about technology being mixed with the natural surroundings. It’s unsettling yet somewhat relaxing.
I love the way your mind works, each project you do is so entirely unique and fascinating to watch. I hope you keep making works for a long while, they're always an adventure to watch. I think my favorite work of yours is Little Spirits, it's so interesting and I relate to it in a way.
Your short movies are so inspiring! It's always a treat to see a new upload.
Happy to hear that!
Always looking forward to your work Cecilia! this was great!
I'm sorry I missed when this was released, but the timing seeming so perfect. Thank you again Ms. Cecelia 🖤
The cinematography is so crisp and I love looking between your new works and classics. You've developed your style like a fine blade!

Smiled when I saw the new upload. Always such a treat! Loved the ambiance in this one, thr small electronic sounds constantly blending in with wind and birds... Fun and even a bit daunting to listen with headphones. Thank you for sharing🥰❤

Hi! I am 17 yeas girl and I adore you and your art so much! Thank you for had born in the same world as I am and to be alive while I am too. 🥀 🤍
You are so underrated this is a literal piece of art 💖
This is beautiful, I love your work! 💞💞
i think that differance between us humans and artificial intelligence is that ai dont have emotions or love like we do and humans have well both have pros and cons ai is much bigger than humans they like they dont get tired like we do they help us to connect every individual who is living in parts of world far far away to communicate each other so we dont lose our loved ones ai doesnt feel what we feel such as pain or love or you know humanly expressions. i think both humans and ai are important to run this whole system of this world both cant dominant or much better they are both made to help and solve problems of this world.your art and the way you make short films is beautiful and meaningful.very inspiring ❤
this is so amazing!! your films are so unique and beautiful in their own way and i love the way your mind works , you’re so creative and you’re my favorite director of all time :)) i hope you’re doing well
