I think it would be interesting to replace some of the green plates under those beautiful pine trees with brown plates, like the forest floor has trouble getting sunlight to grow grass, or is covered in fallen pine needles
I agree with this! forest floors under pine trees are always gray/white/brown, maybe a little green :) because of the water that runs off the pine trees are so sour, that more or less nothing can grow under them, except mos, reindeer lichen and heather ^^ sometimes ferns can be found as well :)
Some other comments mentioned adding brown into the vineyard and I think that would look great as well. It could also add some separation between the normal vegetation, the forest, and the vineyard. From some angles, the vineyard gets a little lost (but this is just a suggestion so do what ever you want. It's your Lego city!)
There needs to be some sort of wildlife! Put some deer, bears, elk, or wolves to add something to the treelines. Maybe a pair of hunters at a hunting camp processing some animals, or just general outdoor campers.
I came here to say this as well! Some wildlife would add storytelling and vibrancy to make the space feel alive - big animals on the ground as you said, plus squirrels and birds in the trees
I read "wildfire" and immediately thought YES! Ofc I misread it lol but still! Maybe add some natural disaster on some part of the mock? And then some first responders on the scene? Maybe even a helicopter hovering above? I think something like that could really add more life to the city!
Sometimes I think about how similar Lego and Minecraft are- but then I watch these videos and I am just so grateful that I don't need to pay for the blocks I use in the game or frequently vacuum dust off them 😂
I don't know if it's feasible, but the grapevines I've seen usually have dirt paths between them, not grass. It might be a fun detail to break up the wall of green. The path then could connect to the village and the (future) castle.
I was thinking the same thing. Also it seems hard to see the vineyard in general. At first the green of the vines blended in with the green of the ground and then it was all mostly hidden behind the trees. It's a really cool idea, I hope it gets some more attention.
Suggestion: add brown beneath the vineyard, it would create more color in an otherwise green flooded area as well as make it more realistic to a well-trampled and cared-for vineyard. Adding a winery in the old village would also help tie it into a greater connected story where wine was one of the most popular drinks in old villages.
I so enjoy these updates! I am almost 60 but I still remember the fun I had with my Lego sets back in the day. I have collected a few of the Star Wars ones. Someday I need to go through the old sets and clean the pieces up. I found the boxes recently, it’s just having time to sort through it all. I eagerly await future updates!
Great Work as always! Love the Lego Factory BTS!! Suggestion for the animations: I would add 2-3 different randomized animations and varied sound effects for each of them - that way when somebody presses it: A - it feels more interactive and varied, B - it doesn't get too repetitive for both visitors and yourselves/future staff.
Spectacular! Amazing! So cool you got all that help on the trees! They look great! And those buttons...wow!!! The lighting...fantastic! I'm just so fascinated by your work! I can't wait to see what you do next!
Imo, you need to aid a railing above the train tunnel. Someone could fall off so easily! Maybe a wooden one with some binoculars on it. Could have a bear approaching two people coming from the woods, one screaming in fear, the other still focused on the view through the binoculars! 😂
Such beautiful work as always. Thank you for posting. I look forward to each new installment. One small suggestion for realism: the vineyard trellises in real life would be oriented parallel to the contour of the hillside. They don’t run perpendicular to the contour, straight up the hillside. That would be really hard on the people picking grapes! Anyway small detail I only mention because everything you do is so great. Cheers mate!
This is absolutely beautiful! I found your channel a few months ago and showed it to my nephews who love Lego. We binge watched your videos and watch your updates together. Keep up the amazing work!
For the interactive buttons (duel, mine) could you incorporate a bit of randomness to the sound effects? If I pressed the button and heard the sound I would then immediately want to press it again and see if its exactly the same. A bit of randomisation to the sound effects, order, duration, interval, pitch, loudness etc could go a long way. Like if the cowboys shot in a different order, or the explosion went off slightly differently each time. Also the people working there would get some variety.
Not to mention if it is the same sounds all the time it would quickly become irritating for someone working there, or even off looking at other displays. Randomness helps make it blend into the background noise
Maybe a horse whinny every now and then with the shots? If we're not afraid to be more goofy, I'd throw in a "What in tarnation?!" or something like that from the cowboys XD
For the vineyard, I think it would look better if you replaced the green tiles they sent on with brown to represent the field the trellis would be in. It'd also help break up a lot of the green in the area and make it stand out more. Might also be helpful to put a small gray wall around the field as well, just to really separate it from the surroundings. Just a thought! Love your videos, they remind me of being a kid when I would just lay on my floor and play with my legos all day building stuff.
Idea for the hill extension to the left side: make the slope much more gradual, so that it blends more seamlessly into the plain. The sudden rise of the hill where the tunnel is, is not so natural. Try to keep the slope at 5 to 10 degrees, if you have the lateral space. This will also allow for easier building of tiny plateaus for campgrounds, huts, etc. Although camping that close to an airport is not ideal!
What I find interesting about the city is that everything is in a freeze frame, meaning even if something is added to the city 1-2 years after something else is added, they are still happening at the EXACT same time in the city. Keep up the great work!
I think the plate work for the grassy hill changed the balancing dramatically and made it WAY better, as I've heard before. Details are a key to unlocking a door to better possibilities. The more attention you give to details, the better your product should be.
You’ve inspired me to take out the old bins, sort, and start using my legos again. Love watching the videos and using some techniques I’ve seen in them.
I think a building fire close to the harbor, with fire fighters battling the blaze would be a very cool addition, especially with the lighting effects that could be done with it. The flashing lights, the bright fire escaping from a window. Anyhow, amazing video as always!
Man it always sucks hitting the end of these videos as I just get so invested. Also the special animations for the wild west section are great and came out really well.
I found this a while channel and its so fun to watch. All the Lego builds look so good and you did a great job! Keep up the great work! Also some ideas: 1. For the buttons for the wild west you could cover it in Lego to match the theme of everything. 2. You can add a cabin for the new hill your making to add more story telling.
holy C! This brings me so much joy for everyone involved and viewers. It's just like that Queen song "bicycle". Simple things in life should bring so much joy, but are squashed by the idiocy of our world. I discovered your channel a bit before the tragic event that occurred.. I can't remember what it was but I wrote several encouraging messages hoping everything would be alright... then you got crowdfunded or I can't remember. I'm happy to see you build this monument of greatness (sorta)! Great work. Super happy to see that this is More than working out for you. GL in your future endeavors!
WOW, just wow. That video was amazing. I really wish you had updates more often, but I know building with legos takes time and is expensive. So keep up the great work, because it's looking great!
There's nothing better than seeing a new Lego City Update video from you, your city has so much contrast and I love how everything has a story to it, it really brings so much life and uniqueness to this world you've created! Can't wait for more!
I thought it was really cool how realistic you designed the runways in your airport. I had some other ideas too. You could add a VASI or PAPI lighting system next to the runway, Approach lights at the front the runway, A VOR station in the open space, a wind sock, a beacon light on the control tower or near it. All of these would take a small amount a bricks while adding a lot of realism and visual interest, most could also use lighting that would look awesome as well.
7:10 When you do interior lighting for the city houses, make sure to not light up everything and leave about half the windows dark. That would look very realistic. Maybe you can even set an automatic timer that turns different rooms on/off throughout the night
Amazing work! Love following the progress and the city looks stunning in night view. Idea: making a steep Rocky Mountain face like the Matterhorn behind the castle and put a working cable cart to the top of it like chamonix. Maybe even a snowy mountain resort between the city and the airport? Just a thought anyway, your creative ideas keep amazing me. My son is looking forward to visiting the museum some day.
That hillside looks incredible! One suggestion to make the vines pop a little more would be to line the rows with brown bricks on the ground instead of the green
Fantastic work! Everything is incredible! Ideas for forest … a few trails to break things up, orange and white orienteering flags and some hikers and so on.
its been so long since I cared about a channel releasing new videos. every time you release a new video its like a Christmas present. I just cant get enough of your videos man!!! keep up the amazing work!
"This section is not modular therefore is completely irrelevant" (but continues to build said section to make it beautiful with a vineyard and storytelling) The moment you realize the festival party is really Oktoberfest Fest
What could be great with the hill once you've completed it, is to restart a second one, maybe smaller, but with a small river meandering in between hills, and maybe with a few waterfall and rapids in it. in particular with the castle coming up, it could actually have a water well connected to the river, as any fortification should have a source of water in case of siege!
Its fun to see that even a great builder like you still uses lego sets in these. For example the tree near the festival is the lego bonsai tree but with the bottom removed
I absolutely love your videos! The amount of detail and effort you put in is amazing! I was thinking if you could put a person camping in a tent in the forest area to add some color and story telling. Love the work you put in!
into the forest, you should add a little reference on “little red riding hood” fairytale, if you dont know what that is, its a classic bedtime story about a girl wearing a red hood who is going through a forest going to visit her grandma, she then encouters a wolf and tells him shes bringing food to her grandma, wolf is greedy and hungry and wants the food, so he runs straight to grandmas house, eats her (lol) and puts on her clothes. and then when the girl arrives he eats her aswell, i dont remember what happened next but its a classic kids tale, so it would be good reference if you put something from it in there! keep up the good work as always!
I completely get that an 8 min video takes a ton of time but…. I could watch you for hours and I wish the videos were longer. You are an amazing artist!
The forest looks amazing, however I would do the base of the forest brown or light brown or just some brown patches, since there is no grass under pine trees. You could add some mushrooms under the trees, they live in symbiosisAlso. Also you could add some lumberjacks cutting trees :)
10/10 work as always, however i would suggest maybe taking the trees away from the top of the train tunnel as that would mean the roots were either destroyed, which at that point just remove the entire tree on top or they'd have to grow through the concrete and destroy the tunnel,
Fun idea: If your brother is good enough with electronics then it might be fun to have a little game to play. Add some nodes along the train track. If you press on the right time at a node you get 1 point. Can you get to 10 to win the game? Just an idea. Maybe you can do something with it.
Been loving watching the evolution of your city over the last few months! So much creativity and fun. Quick suggestion: You may already do this, but have you considered taking your bins or reusing the Lego bags for your trips to the Lego factory? It’s twice now I’ve seen you come away with like 40 seemingly single use bags and it makes me sad! Just a friendly suggestion for the planet! 😊
Oh wow the sound effects make that western moc so much better, that is awesome, also the new mountain is looking really good and extending the wheat field will look great as well, keep on building brickcrafts🎉
the craziest and the best Lego City has an update. YAY! As always, a beautiful build. I would love to see some camping story in the forested area. Looking forward to the next update!
I love the vineyard. It's a great vegetation point to view! I think a small waterfall near or maybe through it would be fantastic. Maybe it leads to a small river 🤔
“I feel like it would be too quiet, so with the city, maybe add some background noises like cars and people talking, or police sirens. Also, you could add a burning building with some firefighters outside.”
I think it would be really interesting by the airport if you make like an underground car park way (somehow). Because usually at airports there are lots of parking areas and this idea would probably save a lot of space for other ideas. (Love how the city is working out!!)
Those animated parts are a great idea, but I'm not sure if I would make it interactable or just random. It would add so much to the natural ambiance of the scenes, and people would either abuse it or not use it at all, and both scenarios would be a shame for such an awesome setup.
As you have now made a hillside with such huge pine trees, you can integrate it into a forest and add some campers, some wildlife like dear and all! Also, you can add some road-going towards the airport......There can be a lot of other things done! Great job!
I think if once you press the mine button it would be cool to have a mine cart come out with rubble and it goes to some sort of factory where it could even be loaded onto a train and taken away for the cycle to happen again behind the scenes, its a lot of work but would be just so cool
It would be expensive, but maybe with the grape vines, you could add some flowering to some to show that they’re starting to form (and maybe add more color)
Love love love this. Only thing is that the grapes would be grown parralel to the slope, and not perpindicular. That way when they pick a row of grapes, theyre not walking up and down the hill so much.
Brickcraft: *walks into the factory
The employees: "red alert, it's him again! He's here for all our green!"
It should be a green alert
@@Imightexist7I came here to say exactly that!
"He's here to end our entire stock of bricks"
Why does that sound like a Cypress Hill lyric?
A lego builder is in the base!
Boy oh boy, how long am I already watching this? Probably like 2 years now lol. Just can't stop. Keep up the great work!
yep same, i defo want to visit it some day

Last week i discoverd his German channel. Is has video's of his first lego city. Still very small. But you see some buildings you see tofday

It would be good if he could find those grass pieces but in a dusty brown, to convey the pricklyness.
@@demo2823 yeah, that was my thoughts too! And also get it all to blend in together a little more 😁
Agree
Some other comments mentioned adding brown into the vineyard and I think that would look great as well. It could also add some separation between the normal vegetation, the forest, and the vineyard. From some angles, the vineyard gets a little lost (but this is just a suggestion so do what ever you want. It's your Lego city!)

Bunnies would make a lot of sense in the villagey area.
I feel the same. Even a farm or a horse drawn plough would be fine with me
For some story telling in the forest, why not add some Fairy Tales? Little red riding hood, Hansel & Gretel, etc. Or maybe is that too unrealistic?
This man single handedly owns at least 25% of all plant pieces in Germany.
Sometimes I think about how similar Lego and Minecraft are- but then I watch these videos and I am just so grateful that I don't need to pay for the blocks I use in the game or frequently vacuum dust off them 😂
Agreed and it's nice seeing u as a fan of this channel. Ur super flat terraforming is similar to Lego I guess 👍
i agree. also your builds are amazing and hope to see more in the future!
Imagine you would need to vacuum minecraft blocks due a dust buildup
You can either work a full shift at maccas and buy lego, or spend a full maccas shift grinding and play minecraft
Imagine dust build up in Minecraft like snow layers and you need the brush them to remove it
I don't know if it's feasible, but the grapevines I've seen usually have dirt paths between them, not grass. It might be a fun detail to break up the wall of green. The path then could connect to the village and the (future) castle.
One of the most valuable aspects of a vineyard is the dirt!

I got recommended this today and it instantly brought me back to visiting legoland as a kid. Really incredible work.
It would be cool to have some hikers or adventures in between those trees. Great new update
You know it’s going to be a good day when a new Brickcrafts update drops. Incredible as always 👏🏼 🎉
Love the channel and your accent, been a fan of LEGO since a kid, great experience, love it!
As you have now made a hillside with such huge pine trees, you can integrate it into a forest and add some campers, some wildlife like dear and all! Also, you can add some road-going towards the airport......There can be a lot of other things done! Great job!
These videos are just so comforting to me :)
Absolutely insane update. The grape vineyard was a brilliant choice.
How about a mountain bike trail (plus people on bikes) leading through the trees on the mountainside?
Love the lighting!
I think if once you press the mine button it would be cool to have a mine cart come out with rubble and it goes to some sort of factory where it could even be loaded onto a train and taken away for the cycle to happen again behind the scenes, its a lot of work but would be just so cool
All started from one bbk, and now its became an entire festival. This is the legend of the meaty meat festival
I think there should be a visible path between the vineyard fences, so it looks like it has been used for a while.
this guy is the Bob Ross of Lego fr!!
You definitely need some wild life on the mountain. Have people camping and bear coming to say hello 😂😂
I love how you make everything so mega scale 🔥
You could do a bike trail coming down from the castle 😊. I think it would be a great little addition in the forest
Man single-handedly depletes world’s entire 2x4 green brick supply
I can’t imagine what it’s going to look like when it’s done! It will be amazing!
