Fantastic to see a new DT video, and can't wait to see everything you and the team are up to. Thanks for the shout out about my Skoda Superb as well 👌 . The car's running great, and the service from TeamDT has been top notch ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.
Looking forward to some new videos. I think watching a day In the life of decimal tenths would be a great way to show everyone what you have going on . Come a long way from doing the cheese 1.8t 20v rods lol
Nice u see u bk on the videos and you have an amazing business and all of you are so friendly and helpful wen i popped Down the other month was lyk I had known use for year form watching the channel just can’t wait to get bk down to get my car tuned just fell on some hard times sadly but hopefully will see use soon
Glad to hear things are going well for business man! 👍 When I ran my fab/ performance business I was slammed and had a ton of work as well. It was overwhelming being by myself too. Great to have a good reputation from helping people and doing proper work instead of just washing your hands of it and moving on leaving the issues in the owners lap. Too bad I'm not in your area. I'd love to be the #5 guy. Looks like an excellent place to work, and I love turning wrenches with like-minded individuals! 😊
@@DecimalTenths Absolutely hear ya there my friend!!! It's a love/ hate type of thing when you're that busy. Nice to have the steady work and repeat customers but you definitely don't have much time for your own stuff, and when you do get the time, you certainly don't feel like turning wrenches on your own shit. All I wanted to do when I had a spare minute from wrenching was anything not related to car stuff. LOL 😆 Gotta have a little variety so you don't burn yourself out IMO. Glad you're doing videos again. I always enjoyed your channel my friend! 😉👍
Evening Nick ive missed your videos you try to fit as much how to do info in as possible but its understandable that garage life is busy, i have my own garage in Manchester for the past 16 years mostly servicing and mot id love to get into tuning and performance upgrades, and do a bit of youtube but i have no spare time at all.looking forward to you getting the track car back on as im building a mk5 track car myself keep it up pal

Glad to hear you are going to keep going with the videos. "If you ever need an idea for a new video"....I believe many would find it helpful if a video was made to resolve the black soot these, or at least the MK5's, spew out; coating the rear hatch. Mine does this too. Some say it is running rich. However, my fuel trim data, on my mk5 GTI with a K04 (had the car since new in Nov. 2006), shows an addition of fuel of near +10% for a lean correction. Spark plug deposits appear a bit on the white side. I am leaning toward an inaccurate O2 report (changed within the past 3 or 4 years)...or perhaps an inaccurate MAF report (new genuine MAF within the last year); new injectors, everything fuel system related was also replaced, and leak detection testing also done. Just not sure what the proper course to take would be...but I truly believe a comprehensive diagnosis, to resolve the spewing of soot and perhaps even the fuel trim issue, would be interesting and helpful to many. I've been quite active on forums and more, but I have no clue...nor do others, apparently. 🍺
Hi Rob, Good comment and I would suggest that this could be hardware or software related. But most probably software related. Pushing the injection window generally does this. Happy to help out if I can 👍
Awesome! Its no wonder you guys are busy and flat out, well deserved! The moment you pick the camera up, everything takes 3x longer! Huge thanks for sorting out those recent bits. Can't wait to come up soon for some Dyno & Dominos! 😎🙌

Great job you guys are doing! 🙌🏻 Nice to see Jake’s old motor on the channel. I’ve been a passenger in that and can confirm it’s definitely a good one 😁 Would have been cool to have a little look at that S1 Elise.
Mate you make helish content, I understand about the business - hopefully when you get the 5th mechanic you’ll have a bit free time to continue creating videos. Keep up the great work!

Also good to hear a new websites under development and you guys are looking at expanding if the right place comes up. Business going from strength to strength 💪💪💪
In regards to customer service should try get back to those who genuinely want the service even if can't fit someone in, letting them know is important especially those who might not be regulars as many garages become a little cultish, almost as if you have to be a regular to get a car looked at
