FFS!! let Danny get a word in !
Jim talks socialist nonsense on the regular, at least Simon is a clever guy!
he is useless
Why? So he can mention Gérard Houllier?
Simon talks about season ticket holders he's forgetting the members. Members only get tickets on loyalty points but that gets harder when the club reduces the members chances of getting tickets. Yet the club will still accept new members
There’s your problem. You’re not a member. A member of a football club has voting rights in how the club operates. It’s a glorified franchise and you’ve got a customer royalty card.
Absolutely spot on 👍
Hang on - there’s two adult children here - they keep cutting Danny out of the conversation nor are they letting him in - the other two just wouldn’t shut up. Geez
Sums Jim and Simon up

“Owners” like Simon thinking is one of the major reasons why this game is getting out of reach of the regular Joe.
But Duran going to Saudi Arabia to make money is wrong ( hypocrite)
Don't think anyone said it was wrong. Pretty sure everybody says they'd do the same thing (nobody is turning down that money).
What criticisms *have* been leveled are that he's 'too young' to go. Then others say he's young *therefore* he can go and come back, and still be early 20s.
There's always balance, but sometimes people struggle to engage their brain beyond a headline, don't they?
@herrzyklon he literally called him a greedy man child who puts financial gain ahead of his progression. It's not the first time Simon has been hypocritical of an issue

I’ve been a member for over 20 years at Chelsea. Since the new owners have taken over I’m lucky if I get 2 games a season. Almost not worth the membership fee now.
It’s a disgrace mate.
Horrendous that, the clubs won’t care because the memberships themselves probably bring in a fortune
Simon has lost me here. People are angry about this
He defends Bully every time
Nice to know what simon thinks of guys that empty his bins
I don’t know how Danny puts up with these two granddads who do not listen to each other.
Particularly enjoyed the logic that very wealthy people should be more indulged in conflicts of interest because they're so rich it doesn't matter. Anyone who disputes that must be a binman.
Nice to know how Simon feels about the poor guy who empty his bins
Jordan backing his millionaire mates AGAIN
PSR rules, points deductions, poor standard of officiating, stadiums full of tourists with no atmosphere, premier league slowly killing its own product and it doesn’t even realise lol
Na it's smart asf what they're doing. Get the real football fans to pump money into the lower leagues whilst we use the pl to drain money from other competitors in oil and other political business. Pls easily bigger now than it ever has been as a business so the loss of atmosphere hasn't made a difference but the lower leagues have benefitted, atmospheres are improving and likely getting more fans attending
owners paying people like Rashford $300k+ p/w to sit at home might be part of the problem, surely?
what does rashford has to do with this???? he doesn't even play for chelsea.

Touting and ticket reselling is a grubby business.
"And some herbert in Anglesey says.. it's greed" 🤣🤣

Villa have a 30,000 wait on season tickets and you can’t even get a match day ticket even in the FA cup
Poor Danny. BOth Simon and Jim interrupted him continually loooool
JordanS gibberish: I wasn't pontificating (speaking) I was ruminating (thinking)
I’m tired of the notion that traveling fans are not “real” fans. Fans on other continents change their work schedule for games, wake up at the crack of dawn for games, wake up in the middle of the night for games. They spend thousands of dollars on flights and hotels just to go to one game. For example, the U.S. is so massive, the “local” team may be a 5+ hour drive away. They do not have the luxury to take the train to the next stop and be at the stadium. No one would inconvenience themselves and spend thousands of dollars to watch a team they casually enjoy.
Season ticket holders now really struggle to get away tickets. Members find it impossible to get a ticket for any game. You can buy a ticket now and secure it for the final day of the season , how is that fair. They’ve not even gone on sale
I'm a Chelsea supporter and removed my membership based on the fact you don't ever stand a chance of getting a ticket when they go on sale.
You can get a ticket from season ticket holders who put them on the official website for face value. At least that’s what I do
It's legal . Reselling business is allowed
Another Non - Story from Talk- sports
Wrong! Ticket touting in the uk and unauthorised re selling of tickets above market value or unauthorised early sales are all ILLEGAL in the uk. Code 166 of the criminal justice and public orders act of 1994.
so if jim ratcliffe did this simon jordan would rip him apart, this guy is a hypocrite
my understanding that if you're a united season ticket holder and can't get to a game, you can't tout it but you can 'sell' your ticket back to the club (at a loss) and then the club will happily sell it on at a marked up rate
But you just made that up...
The ENGLISH can’t even buy a ticket FFS
Exactly and all of a sudden Mr Simon who so patriotic however when comes to his rich mates he's anti English
The ENGLISH hardly play for any club either.
Lol if simon could fill those 13k seats with saudi sheikhs he would.
Jim White needs to stop brown nosing fans.
Lets remember fot them 1000 tickets get solid at Chelsea v palace at £1200 a piece palace get 100at home for the same price
I wonder if Simon Jordan is upset that Oscar left Chelsea for bags of cash? 🤔

The fact they said England has the best atmospheres in stadiums is laughable. I dont go to Premier league games anymore and instead go to Germany or Italy to watch football cause they have proper atmospheres in games
Sure you do
Voyeur, are you?
Simon is such a snob! Also ..Season Ticket holders at most Premier League clubs can sell their tickets on an exchange sites to touts posing as club members ...where do those tickets end up?.. with tourists
This is what happens when you sell your clubs to foreigners in the first place

to be fair, those same tourists go into the store and buy all the tat that the locals have no interest in. United need these gonks to spend as much as possible just to keep PSR at bay

Danny go and get a coffee.
Imagine being a grown man but having the acumen of a teenager. That's wild.
It's hypocrisy. If fans can't sell their ticket to tourists at the stadium half an hour before kick off for profit, then why should the club be allowed to?
Must have ran out of HOTELS TO SELL, LMAO
The rumour is that he’s getting 10k tickets for this website
I have no problem with it as long as the tourists are fans rather than corporate
As an owner I get where Simon is coming from, but as a fan it’s unfair to pay such ridiculous prices
There's literally no other way for fans outside of the UK to get tickets. To get my hands on a pair of Chelsea tickets 10 years ago cost me 800 euros to see chelsea vs everton because they were the only tickets that could be got. By Jim's ideas no fans outside of the UK should be allowed a ticket. Calling people buying tickets abroad tourists is bullshit. It's not random tourists buying tickets its tourism because people are going to the UK to specifically watch the games. Calling fans coming from abroad tourists is just insulting.
Exactly!!! For anyone that has an issues with this, I dare you to try and buy a ticket to any major English Team. Either its A) Crazy Over Prices B) Scam or C) Both. My Friend paid $1200 for a Arsenal Ticket this year vs Everton that ended 0-0. The English must have forgotten about land outside there Island or something.
Spot on, I like Jim but he's talking rubbish. I'm not from the UK but I've flown over 6k miles to watch Chelsea home and away, paid much more than most English Chelsea fans would, sang my heart out, have Chelsea ink, watch literally every game, and he's saying I'm less deserving of a ticket because I'm not a "local"?
This is disgusting discourse and very conveniently ignores the fact that without foreign players and coaches, the league would be watched by no-one like in the 80s/90s, have mediocre players, awful football and a fraction of the money it generates nowadays.
When chelsea owners in the past have decided to expand the stadium to help with this, the CPO makes things so impossible
So the English Premier League is promoted all over the world and then turn around not liking tourists coming over to watches the games live is the contradiction. People will always try to find other ways to get tickets.
The issue is what?
SJ is pathetic. Bully is contravening the regulations!
Phone Simon up and tell him then.
Thought not. 🥱
So Simon looks down on people that takes away his trash? What a lovely guy
I'm shocked to learn he's a Tory boy
It all makes sense why I can’t get a ticket with my Chelsea membership anymore
Football is big business. Foreign and occasional fans are preferred to die hard fans as they are less vociferous and problematic for the owners. I live in Denmark and noticed this trend back in 2008 when coming to England. There were Swedes , Danes and Norwegians galore in the football grounds. Scandinavians are discreet so one would not necessarily notice them. Since Brexit it has become as cheap as chips for a weekend gig to England. Expect the true supporters to be squeezed out even more in the future, poor sods.
Re TJ - the classic “working man’s game” line. Two things wrong with that 1) A working man will now earn 37k as an average in 2024, and 2) being misogynistic… therefore contradicting his high horse!
Buy or buy not
10 tickets x 17,000 is big money considering the face value will be max £60
Jim looks and listens to simon and literally licks his lips, he's so in awe, the rest of the country are slowly getting bored of his nonfenths
funny how simon dodges the word UNATHUORIZED, or in other words illegal sales of ticket.
Unauthorized isn’t the same as illegal.
It’s a laughing stock in that half of the teams are grim to watch and without any value entertainment wise…
What I don't understand is why the club needs to sell them onto another party when they could easily sell out?? Then the third party wouldn't even exist.
Posh ticket tout so it's ok
Stevie PROPER Chels here , I put it together the Expose via my chelsea boys ... Simon poor from you... that's money gone to your head mate.. Jim well done mate for reporting the facts .
This shows what disdain these owners and media have for the fans. Time clubs were 100 percent owned by the fans and to drive these people away from the sport
I’d like Simon to clarify ‘investment’ as it’s highly likely most of the money invested in Chelsea was borrowed! A substantial amount of revenue created by the club, including ticket sales, should then be used to pay back part of the debt! But in this case ticket sales are being used for personal gain…a back door to creaming off money that would otherwise be used to invest in the club. It’s probably not illegal but as Danny alluded to, the fans are being
shafted.
At this point, im pretty sure Simon and Todd are secret lovers
That local fan would be moaning if the club doesn't spend a dime in the transfer window.. ridiculous that people moan about everything
Fans like me who can’t go due to health, or wealth, family commitments, work etc love to see stadiums packed however it happens, and revenue maximised. Then comes solvency, followed by signings…. And success 🏆!!!!!
Jim trying to make a point like its the most devastating topic ever.
Personally I don't see why we'd prefer the same old person turning up every other week over a new fan every game experiencing what its like to watch their team live for the first time.
Simon Jordan highlighting how chronically out of touch with the working class he is. Binmen get paid pretty well nowadays.
"Football fans always want...." that's because it's our game. Good luck sustaining a business with that approach... oh, that's right.
Fans don't understand that football is a business !!!!!!
Sky destroyed it.
I used to queue up at midday and get in the Shed for 4 shillings.

First time I can say that Simon is talking absolute shite here.
Why do we have trading standards or ethics in business. Bulldust from Simon.
Putting seats to the highest bidder is piss take from Boehly.
So if you owned a green grocers and someone came in and said "i live round the corner, can I buy that apple for 50p?" And someone else came in and said "i live 1000 miles away, can I buy that apple for £50", you sell to the first guy? Grow up
@@kylowhen2639that’s not the situation at all mate. The value isn’t in the distance the person lives, it’s in the scarcity of the ticket you donut!
The scarcity controlled entirely by Boehly.
Deliberately not selling them to millions of fans at market rate set by the club and doing it on the side under a different trading name to avoid the fall out of Chelsea FC charging crazy prices for tickets is disgusting.

I get so tired of fans crying, whining and complaining. Please grow up people. If you can’t afford the price of a ticket or anything else you may want to, learn to accept that or get a better job or a second job. Stop expecting everything in life to be free or easy. I read these comments and understand why people with money are leaving the UK to create businesses or to invest elsewhere. UK society has become a bunch of beggars waiting for a handout. Grow up and stop the immature nonsense and jealousy of individuals who are successful. Only a fool would think Boehly, who has many different business ventures is handling tickets at Chelsea. Pathetic.
You absolute uneducated clown. Ticket touting is ILLEGAL in the United Kingdom. Also, anything that happens at a football club is under the ownership. Even IF it’s not Clownlake releasing these tickets MONTHS before the games so it’s not fans doing this, it’s someone in the club. Give your head a wobble Terry but not to hard, clearly it’s not very well attached as it is.
"the politics of envy" trope is a justification of greed.
Tickets are a joke to try and get for norwich let alone premier league games
Membership has been useless - you can only get one ticket at first and the chances of getting a ticket are low to none. Club Chelsea is the only way and it’s around £300 a ticket which with the grass roots approach we currently have isn’t worth £300 to watch calamity Sanchez.
Get rid of this capitalist creep.
The alternative doesn’t have football. Can’t afford it.
I like Simon, but, he is wrong this time. A season ticket holder might buy 1 Shirt, a scarf and maybe a cap in a season. A tourist ticket buyer will buy 1 shirt, 1 scarf and maybe 1 cap. The Tourists will be different each game, that equals a hell of a lot more merch per seat per season for tourist tickets. The Clubs will prefer to sell to tourists each week than sell season tickets.
LET HIM SPEAK! LET HIM SPEAK!
No one is entitled to anything. If you can’t afford something then that’s tough. There are things I can’t afford in life, that’s how it is.
Jim makes my head hurt . Replace him with matterface please
Typical Simon when comes to his owner pals scamming he's quick to take the stance of "it's no big deal" makes me sick how they quick to cover for each other
The issue Simon is a conflict of interest. All of the big clubs have issues in getting tickets due to high demand. However, why can't he sell his own club's tickets through his own club's channels?
Why can't a season ticket holder join in to a marketplace and sell their tickets...they might them not feel so agrieved by the cost of them.
As a 20 year old I realised to solve part of the drug problem is to not drive it into organised crime.
You allow highly regulated gov pharmacy to sell class A drugs with high conditions for a 3% margin so removing the interest in reselling.
Unfit owner. Ban him from being involved with any prmeier league cluband force a sale... please 🙏
To whom?
Ratcliffe ????
@ArtyFactual_Intelligence i mean... the video is about Boehly...
Top clubs have millions of fans and they all want to go and watch a game in a stadium that can’t hold then all so most miss out, how hard is that understand. Yes we all hate the resellers and bots etc and something should be done but even then most will still miss out on games due to the still high demand for those tickets.
We have 3 ticket memberships for Chelsea fc and have been unable to purchase tickets this season when it has been easy previous seasons . Probably no point in purchasing future Membership's.
whats the issue? is this ghoul for real? its a conflict of interest, he's on the board of that company and he earns some of that money while we fans struggle to get tickets
He also owns several other businesses. Should he sell those and lose money with Chelsea until bankruptcy? Grow up
@terry3252 this is a brain dead comment why would he sell other businesses that's got nothing to do with Chelsea. He became a board member in Dec 2021 and Chelsea's sale was finalised in May 2022. If you can't see anything wrong with that, I can't help you
Simon is missing the whole point, it's not that he is selling tickets for stupid amounts because he isn't its that he co-owns a website that allows resellers and people can't buy them because of these people. It's for all teams not just Chelsea.
Simon made lots of great points. But he does miss the fact that the Premier League as a product loses value every year because of large cash capitalist injections. Simon is right about currently, the Premier League will be fine for awhile.
And when there are ad breaks for VAR checks and local home fans get priced out going to any games, when the players wages have decreased year over year, Simon might realize that in fact, the Premier League would have been worth protecting now, instead of wishing youd protected it 5 years from now.
Venture capitalists find products/services where the people who produce the products are getting paid a large share of what the product sells for, and then inverting that as much as they can. The Premier League as a product is ripe for this. Why you think Cole Palmer makes like a fifth of what a player his level would make anywhere else?
The loophole is that he sells the tickets for millions and then buys then himself. Bohley pisses on PSR lol
Oh watch out. Here comes a scouser who thinks he loves football more than anyone else.
Unfortunately have to give it to Simon on this one
