    1:22 I think the best way to solve and insert the pairs is by doing: U' L U' L' and there you have the three move F2L case. However nice video, it's so helpfull

    • @ahshhddhhdhdhdhdshehe2905
      @ahshhddhhdhdhdhdshehe2905 2 роки тому

      nope it's is slightly worse compare to L U2 L' because it's only 3moves if u use htm plus u need to regrip to do the third U' moves while U2 u can just use ur other hand so it eliminates the regrip

    in the third example you could just doU' L U' L' to pair the pair directly instead of after inserting the backslot

  • @CubeDude1
    @CubeDude1 4 роки тому +1

    I think this is much more difficult if two pieces (corner + edge) are moving, because you have to track 2 pieces. I guess I have to focus on the pairs where only 1 piece (corner or edge) moves.

    This looks like focusing on 2 pairs at the same time. While I can I dentify a pair and and insert them without looking, and focus on finding my next pair, U cannot yet know what the next pair will be doing until after the first pair is inserted. as soon aa it's inserted I already have my next pair lininging up and can look for the next pair, but again, I still won't beable to tell where it will be going at thqt point.
    There are too many things that can happen that I feel good to be able to have my corner and finding the side while inserting unconsciously pairing and inserting one pair.
    Thanks for the videos!

    • @JPerm
      @JPerm  4 роки тому +2

      The focus should only be placed on the 2nd pair, not the 1st. You should apply this when your muscle memory is good enough that you can do the first pair without looking at it or thinking about it!

    • @hazystudios
      @hazystudios 4 роки тому

      J Perm I can insert the 1st pair by muscle memory at this point while focusing on finding the second pair, but all I can really do is line up the 2nd pair, it's still taking me until the firat pair is inserted to see where the second pair will be. About as soon as the first pair is inserted the second pair is already located and then as the slot is located, that's all muscle memory frone thereand I'm on my next pair.

    I've been getting really frustrated with my solves... I've watched all kinds of videos back and forth (especially the sub 20 one) and the f2l ones have helped me a lot. I improved (kinda) but I'm getting really frustrated with myself because I average about 20.50secs and my solves are EXTREMELY inconsistent to the point where my pb is 11.99 and sometimes I'll get a 14sec solve and the next solve is like 24s. I know full pll and about 30 oll cases but I've been confused about whether or not my f2l is good enough for me to reach sub 20 but when I see critique videos I see that many of the efficient solutions I already do ( but I don't know how to take pieces of slots to pair up in all cases) that's what gets me confused the most because I see many people in videos who don't use efficient inserts and fingertricks and still are faster than me... Some ppl say I should look ahead and others say it's not necessary at this level and I don't really know anymore what I should really do and focus on Should I try to look ahead or focus on smth else? Could anyone give me some tips p l e a s e? 😭

    I noticed that for that case u do (R U2 R’) or something like that depending on the case, while I do it (U’ R U’ R’) which is slightly worse however I’m very used to it so do u think I should change this habit or just leave it as it is since it’s in my muscle memory already and it’s one extra move only?

      I recommend learning it for back slots since it saves a regrip.
