The Yorkshire Water announcements were made by former Yorkshire’s Television chief announcer Redvers Kyle. Even though he had retired from YTV full time in 1993 he still announced on occasion for YTV.
Back when tv was...... GOOD ENTERTAINING FUN & ENJOYABLE It’s, not like this now if this show was made like this now It would be cancelled and deemed offensive & sexist (what a load of bollocks) Oh, the 90s there was some amazing tv produced back then with presenters who were professional entertainers like Micheal Barrymore Terry Wogan Les Dennis & Bruce Forsyth who just ENTERTAINED the contestants & the audience with an actual TALENT for ENTERTAINING and the contestants & the audience just laughed at what was said and what was happening, no one took what was said and what was happening too literally or seriously not like what happens today where people take offence to anything & everything there’s no, interesting tv entertainers on tv now just my opinion but none of them on tv now haven’t nowhere near the talent of the legendary entertainers that I listed again, the 90s was an amazing era for tv and the 80s of course, well, old tv will always beat new tv being produced today
"Yorkshire's reservoirs are now extremely low.". The word you're looking for is "empty". Look at that! Save water? I would, if there were any to be saved.
I remember reading Yorkshire Water was minting it selling the water to middle east countries like Saudi Arabia. That's why the reservoir was practically empty but they had the nerve to impose a hosepipe ban on its customers. It caused a furore.
Bradley Walsh, Stephen Mulhern, Ben Shephard, Stephen Mangan, Stephen Fry, Graham Norton, Alexander Armstrong, Michael McIntyre... Too many to list on here... But, did viewers back in the 1990s ever say "show me anyone on British TV today who presents who comes close to Hughie Green or Michael Miles" 4 decades before? I'm not exactly expecting a quick answer to that question, but it would be interesting.
25:36 I would give my right arm and my left leg to get a hug from Emma Steadman (the girl on the far right in the blue sequin dress). Wonder how she looks today?
Aww the theme tune just brings back wonderful memories of sitting in my grannies living room after school watching those those were the days 🥰
It was the US version of the theme song used in the night time series back in the 1990s, I believe.
I was in the audience for this… And about 20 others during the whole run!
I always wanted to be the one to give Bruce his microphone at the start of the show, he was a very funny man
Bruce could make any show entertaining.
I like the way Bruces enter the stage on the Price is Right with his thinker pose at 1:45, RIP Bruce.
Thanks for the memories
Bruce as ever at his very best

I've never known anyone to hit it On The Nose so many times as David did!
I wonder how he would've done in the showcase.
@@millertime97jm I bet he would've won the Showcase seeing how good he was in Cliffhanger
Miss you bruce R. I. P
