Takes me back to my childhood and great times watching this with all my family… I miss those simpler times, the 90’s were a great time to be growing up!!
@@IWTBF because it was simpler… no on demand tv no internet we just did what we did and made the most of what we had… and really enjoyed ourselves doing it!!!
RIP Sir Bruce Forsyth. You were a brilliant presenter and a versatile entertainer who gave my family and I many laughs over the years. It was nice to watch you, to watch you nice!
I am glad I grew up in the 90’s tv was better and music was better. This was a classic sat night tv show and you Bruce was a legend. A swell gladiators, Noels house party etc.... love the 90’s.
I miss Saturday night as a kid, loved all them shows, can you remember bryan connelly also… loved him… dangerous bryan with the ears and eyes moving before his stunt… or the catchplase ‘its a puppet’… definitely explains my sense of humour 😆😆
Well said pwmxxx, I've spoken to one or two, who somehow think Ant and twat are the updated Forsyth Saturday equal. Not even close. He was exceptional and without equal. He would make the contestants feel warm welcomed and less nervous, laugh at and with them and himself with ease. Include the audience for the whole experience while the home audience laughed away and were above all else ENTERTAINED without the need to exploit, humiliate and degrade anyone.
what rubbish are you talking??? people sneer because it was it was rubbish, the BBC rammed this shit down licence fee payers throats for years, if it wasn't Jimmy Savile it was Jim Davidson every saturday night.
What the fuck are you taking about? Whether or not you like this kind of stuff, Forsyth WAS a great host,. It was cheesy shit but - certainly in the 70s and 80s - was very much of its time. As a young kid I used to love watching this with my parents. Also, don't go mentioning that evil cunting scumbag, Saville, in the same sentence as Forsyth, he doesn't deserve that.
let's not take it too seriously ! Feel-good Saturday night fun for all the family; far better than going 'out on the town' (pass the bucket!) and getting pissed, drugged and fucked !
A very sad day for me to hear Bruce Forsyth has died, It was a great honour to work with him on the Generation Game. A man I grew up with and will greatly miss :(
Wow to be transported back to a time when we never missed generation game pure entertainment thank you for the memories an certainly miss Bruce Forsyth on the tv great host an his natural personality to entertain nice to see
I love watching this when I was a kid with my mum and brother. Bruce was brilliant and so funny. And I was in awe of Rosemarie Ford and wanted to be just like her!
I can still remember watching this, all those years ago, when it first aired. I wasn't born when Brucie first held the reigns of the Gen Game, and far too young to remember it with Larry Grayson. So this was my introduction to the show. Loved it immediately. It's very honest, wholesome fun. A real family show.
Thank you so much for uploading one of my favourite family game shows with dear Brucie, I watched it as a child with my mum when it first came out & I still adore it...please upload some more if you ever find any more episodes :o)
Forsyth would have been about 62 here and still very much on top of his game but it was so sad to see him struggling on SCD 20+ years later. He should have bowed out 10 years before he did
I so miss those Saturdays of my childhood My family would all get together at my aunts house and watch actually fun and entertaining TV then go to our local shop for something to eat and have a chat 😊 Wonderful times
The irony of this reboot was that the BBC didn't put it back into the Saturday prime time slot, they didn't think it would last, so they placed it on a Friday prime time slot for the first series. It moved back to Saturdays in 1991
By the mid 90’s TV entertainment shows were starting to ‘fall off the Cliff’ so to speak. When both the BBC and ITV were at the top of their game. Sadly not now. For me the 70’s were the best 😃😃😢🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️🙏🙏🏴🏴
Loved the bit where the magician gets introduced as a German, but he's clearly a South Affer! I guess having a South Affer on your show wouldn't have been very PC back in 1990!
All his pals, Tommy Cooper, Eric Sykes, Ronnie Corbet, Eric Morecombe and the rest, will be awaiting him at the Pearly Gates. i wonder if they will all say in unison, "Nice to see you, to see you, nice?" Hope there's a golf course up there as well?
What a show happy funny so many laughs Bruce gave the concept the games were cool truly a neat legend nice show he came up with also many trademarks nice to see u to see u nice, didn't they do well, what's on the board Miss Ford so many great prizes not to mention Rosemarie is hot she had spunk and style glamorous she is
Well I love Miss Rosemarie Ford , she has got some sass moves , she has got some moves within her and Bruce Forsyth xxxx so Miss Rosemarie Ford is my best and favourite presenter !!!
In my memory it used to resemble the Thinker statue - fist to forehead. But then it changed. It is the Mandela Effect. I posted a couple of videos specifically on the effect on Bruce's pose.
38:40 Scandalous marking. She didn't complete the trick and got 7; the guy did it fully and only got 6! Demand a review at the European Court of Justice.
Takes me back to my childhood and great times watching this with all my family… I miss those simpler times, the 90’s were a great time to be growing up!!
I agree.. Good memories definitely
The 90’s was really the best of everything wasn’t it?

Saturday nights still ain't the same without this. Ant and Dec can piss off.
pwmxxx please stop swearing it’s a gameshow!
Here here
Well said pwmxxx, I've spoken to one or two, who somehow think Ant and twat are the updated Forsyth Saturday equal. Not even close. He was exceptional and without equal. I love Bruce he is just an amazing talented individual. nobody does it better than him
Normski L totally agree such a sad loss
Legend of Tomorrow, Larry Grayson was the only one who had the charisma to come almost equally close to Bruce.
RIP Sir Brucie...this was such a big part of my Saturday nights growing up 😢
A class act.A generation of TV that has gone forever. It was nice to see you to see you nice!
I always loved it when Bruce made a note of something.
apnoakes. Indeed & "here kitty kitty" if someone's moggy went missing!
He was a natural talented presenter. His "awful jokes" were what made him so funny to watch.
It's easy to sneer at the memory of this programme, but Forsyth was a brilliant host.
what rubbish are you talking??? people sneer because it was it was rubbish, the BBC rammed this shit down licence fee payers throats for years, if it wasn't Jimmy Savile it was Jim Davidson every saturday night.

Bruce Forsyth was the best. He brought humour, charm and charisma to the show and other shows he hosted.
I used to really enjoy this as a kid. Had a a hell of a lot of variety in the games
let's not take it too seriously ! Feel-good Saturday night fun for all the family; far better than going 'out on the town' (pass the bucket!) and getting pissed, drugged and fucked !

Love how he throws the clipboard on the floor at the end... RIP Bruce
total legend and the guy had a work ethic that would put most youngsters to shame
Rip brucie. You were the best game show host around.
Forsyth would have been about 62 here and still very much on top of his game but it was so sad to see him struggling on SCD 20+ years later. He should have bowed out 10 years before he did
No-one ever had a bad word to say about Bruce. How many of todays "stars" can say that?
Yes please add any more of these

Farewell Bruce! The British entertainment world will not be the same without you.
Love this show. Miss Bruce.
THE 1st episode of the 90s ??? The Scottish lass is so cute !
The 90’s was really the best of everything wasn’t it?
By the mid 90’s TV entertainment shows were starting to ‘fall off the Cliff’ so to speak.
When both the BBC and ITV were at the top of their game. Sadly not now.

Ive just heard the sad news of Sir Bruce's death. God bless ya Brucie, it was nice to see you, to see you, nice
RIP Bruce you were the best.
I remember seeing Rosemarie on that tour of Cats, and my family getting such a kick out of seeing her co-present. Such fun times.
Bruce was the king of gameshows
Better than the abysmal Jim Davidson.
Absolute gold !
Rest in perfect peace dear Brucie 🙏🏻😢
It was always nice to see him, to see him, nice!
Modern Game Shows are missing the banter of the 90's!
Sam Ashton I think a lot of it is the backgrounds of the presenters. Typically variety acts and those with stage background seem to fair better.
Bills just finished his first year in uni? He looks older than his mother!
This is the theme of our assembly so it's our homework to watch this. I'm really because I'm the presenter!
Rip sir Bruce Forsyth, I loved this gameshow. 😭😭
Time flies...nearly 27 years!!!!
I feel really old now...
33 years idiot
What's on the board, Miss Ford.
Stephen O'Donnell Didn't he do well? lol
Nice to see you nice! My tribute to Bruce.
Good game good game!!
RIP Brucie. It was nice to watch you.
RIP Brucey - best game show host ever!
Compare this to a 1973 version. Bruce looks no different. I think he's been preserved in aspic.
only found out yesterday he had no moustache back then !
It was nice to see you, too see you, nice! RIP Brucie!
Rip sir bruce , a true entertainer , and will be sadly missed
Bruce really was the King of Saturday night entertainment. So so so so so 100x better than Ant & Dec
RIP Brucie. It was nice to see you to see you nice. Britain's greatest ever TV celebrity.
Great stuff ✌🏻 Don't make them like that anymore...😔
They really don't 😔
rest easy great entertainer
Doesn't seem like 27 yrs ago. How time flies.
Wow I remember this episode I was 8 yrs old, best years of TV
I like Bruce's 90s version of the song better than the original.
Here’s a thought. Bring it back with Peter Crouch hosting it with his missus.
Be a huge hit.
R.I.P Bruce, you legend.
Oh my such memories I fancied Rosemarie Ford like mad at 8 years old lol RIP Brucie
R.I.P Brucie the legend
What a show happy funny so many laughs Bruce gave the concept the games were cool truly a neat legend nice show he came up with also many trademarks nice to see u to see u nice, didn't they do well, what's on the board Miss Ford so many great prizes not to mention Rosemarie is hot she had spunk and style glamorous she is
Brucie was incredible
Bruce was a show biz legend
When Nan babysat🥰🥰🥰🥰
Apart from the Jimmy Saville bit, this was pretty good. I know this was before he was found out but alot have shows I feel have been tainted.
He was already found out. His behaviour was an open secret within the BBC.
Jimmy Saville jokes were much tamer in the 90s
Brucie looked older than he was in the 70's then looked much younger after that.
Good point!
R.I.P Bruce you did do well 👍
Well I love Miss Rosemarie Ford , she has got some sass moves , she has got some moves within her and Bruce Forsyth xxxx so Miss Rosemarie Ford is my best and favourite presenter !!!
RIP Brucie. Didn't he do well?
Love the Jim'll Fix it reference
@ 50:18 no Bruce Forsyth's Generation Game can be complete with out A CUDDLY TOY!
Epic when Bruce and the audience cheer when the cuddly toy appears.
Rosemarie Ford is married to the actor Robert Lyndsay
Brucie - the one and the only master of entertainment.
Rip sir Bruce a true legend
Either Cathy or Rosanne is the annoucer of bbc 1 that evening
R.I.P Bruce Forsyth
I was also intrigued by Bruce's signature pose at 0:29.
And he revealed the secrets of the tricks! Instant expulsion from the Magic Circle!
RIP bruce. Didnt he do well.
Miss this show but preferred Jim Davidson doing it but that’s my opinion. The contestants were the best and I loved the pottery wheel 🤣🤣
