My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE SONG from Montgomery Gentry where I crank it and roll down the windows is Gone. "Gone like a freight train Gone like yesterday Gone like a soldier in the Civil War Bang Bang! Gone like a '59 Cadillac Like all the good things, that ain't never comin' back She's gone (gone), gone (gone), gone (gone), gone She's gone!"
Hey, it's my speeding ticket song! I was pulled over 3 times in 2 months while this song was playing when it first released. I had to promise my husband I would take the CD out of my car and keep it out. I loved MG.
Saw ‘em many years ago at SeaWorld. Back when they were still owned by Anheuser Busch. The park higher ups wouldn’t let them sing the hell yeah and even made them take the hell yeah shirts off the merch table. Still a good show.
I might have said this before, but finding this channel had expanded my playlist so much reminding me of all the great songs i forgot about. 🙂 Thank you
Troy Gentry is sorely missed in country music. Eddie Montgomery is doing the best he can without him touring with his brother. John Michael Montgomery.
Great reaction! They are one of the few on my short list of non traditional country artists that I like, Gentry had such a lovely stage presence. Such a sad loss.
All these songs y'all hear Def Lepard in, a lot of these songs is because Mutt Lang produced a lot of country music in the 90s when he was married to Shania Twain. And we 80s metal kids went country. Sorry Keith, Dustin has that smooth, kinda sexy 80s TV commercial voice over guy. I wonder if that's the bourbon I had that made me think cantaloupe... Loved the reaction for both.
As you may know, Jeff Cook, one of the founding members of the legendary band Alabama, and a killer guitarist, passed away earlier this week. I was wondering if you could do a reaction for the music video “Old Alabama”-by Brad Paisley (featuring Alabama), to honor his memory. They’re also a video of them performing it live at the CMA’s, however, I think y’all will enjoy the music video itself almost as much as the song, which Brad wrote in their honor, with the help of Randy Owens, himself. I believe that this is one of the last new songs that Alabama made.
I LOVE this song... playlist for sure.. but... If you want to nail down the inspiration for the riff coming into the chorus, it sounds like ACDC Back in Black.... listen and see :)
Great party song! And I'm pretty sure we all "guessed" it was 90 proof since Dustin said it was at the beginning of the video when he was opening and pouring. 😂 ✌❤
Talk about rock riffs.... you're not gonna believe Carrie Underwood singing Welcome to the Jungle in Greenwood on 10/15/22 during her concert. I guess it doesn't fit as a BCR reaction but you should check it out
Love the bottle! And you two can read each other only too well! 🤣 But Dustin the test of whether it’s truly a rock song is if rock radio would play it. The answer is no. They would say “That’s too Country!” R.I.P. T-Roy. You sung the shit out of this one! 💔♥️
Despite what Keith says about the guitar work (thank you, Keith, for making the connection that has been niggled at the back of my mind for years now) being like Def Leppard, this IS a country song, Dustin. It isn't what I'd term as "classic country" but it is country all the same....just of the more modern variety. Country is about more than how the instruments sound.
'bout dam time someone reacted to this song 👏👏👏👏❤️❤️💃💃💃 Well Montgomery Gentry did their own thing ... Fact ... I ❤️ my DL ... N JJ .. n OMG Lita 💃👍 ... But when ya drink it all sounds the same 😂😂😂... Not a rock as such sorry
I love your various reaction videos, not a drinker personally but listening to your break down to the ones you drink is highly entertaining. I would recommend "Hurt" By Johnny Cash, a very emotionally fueled song as well as "Kick the dust up" By Luke Bryan.
RIP T-Roy...you are missed! ❤
My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE SONG from Montgomery Gentry where I crank it and roll down the windows is Gone.
"Gone like a freight train

She's gone (gone), gone (gone), gone (gone), gone

I miss their music so much. Eddie was never the same after losing T-Roy.
To a great Veteran…You’re missed and thank you for your service.
I've always loved this song. It is one of those songs you want to blast. It just makes you want to sing along.
R.I.P. Troy Gentry.
R.i.P. Troy Gentry !! Saw them in concert and they were awesome 👏!!he was so talented and so handsome .
Hey, it's my speeding ticket song! I was pulled over 3 times in 2 months while this song was playing when it first released. I had to promise my husband I would take the CD out of my car and keep it out. I loved MG.
RIP Troy
Think you'd enjoy their song "if you ever stop loving me".
Saw ‘em many years ago at SeaWorld. Back when they were still owned by Anheuser Busch. The park higher ups wouldn’t let them sing the hell yeah and even made them take the hell yeah shirts off the merch table. Still a good show.
Infectious is a prefect description of this song 😂 I've never understood why it draws you in like it does.
Huge fan of Montgomery gentry. Rest in Peace Troy Gentry
I might have said this before, but finding this channel had expanded my playlist so much reminding me of all the great songs i forgot about. 🙂 Thank you
We've had more than one person say that! - Keith
I've always loved this song. Great reaction. And I must say R.I.P. Troy Gentry.
Troy Gentry is sorely missed in country music. Eddie Montgomery is doing the best he can without him touring with his brother. John Michael Montgomery.
I did not know that John Michael Montgomery was Eddie Montgomerya brother.
The sad part is a couple years ago Troy Gentry the 1 doing the lead singing in this song died in a helicopter crash
Great reaction! They are one of the few on my short list of non traditional country artists that I like, Gentry had such a lovely stage presence. Such a sad loss.

Long Line of Losers and Speed are both awesome songs.
Happy Birthday Keith
Oohrah!

I vote for Keith , Rest In Peace Troy "Troy "Gentry (without the hat) who died in a plane crash in 2017 .
I LOVE this song... playlist for sure.. but... If you want to nail down the inspiration for the riff coming into the chorus, it sounds like ACDC Back in Black.... listen and see :)
Have y'all listened to Hillbilly Shoes by Montgomery Gentry?
Another great song and reaction.
Awesome song
Great party song! And I'm pretty sure we all "guessed" it was 90 proof since Dustin said it was at the beginning of the video when he was opening and pouring. 😂
✌❤
Keith wins the vote great reaction guys.
I like this. Love Montgomery Gentry!

I vote Dustin gets to open every time Keith forgets to shut the door - Door Nazi 😂
This used to be on my early morning, long drive to work playlist. I like the Def Leppard comparison.

I might have to buy the bourbon just for the bottle. I've ridden horses for over 20 years. And currently own 2.
💯😎🤘

Love your videos. You need to react to mama's song and the heart won't lie
So easy to sing 🎤 along to this song 🎶. Oh and I am not voting! You both open the videos equally well 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love your various reaction videos, not a drinker personally but listening to your break down to the ones you drink is highly entertaining. I would recommend "Hurt" By Johnny Cash, a very emotionally fueled song as well as "Kick the dust up" By Luke Bryan.
Yall should react to The Steel Woods, they are amazing!
Keith and Dustin…Y’all have to expose yourselves to Merle Haggard live…his guitar will blow y’all away.

Hey Keith are you going record the non vocal parts separately and give us another jam session?
