For truck owners who utilize their vehicles for hauling and practical purposes, the multifunction tailgate significantly enhances the overall ownership experience. However, it's worth noting that the Mopar tri-fold tonneau cover often included with these trucks may not be the optimal choice. In the aftermarket, there are superior alternatives available that offer enhanced functionality and durability!

I wish my new 2023 came with the MFT. However, about the tonneau cover... I much prefer the soft roll up type. I bought one for my previous truck and I will never go back to a tri-fold.
Also my previous truck had RAMBoxes. I miss those too.

You had mentioned that the Mopar Tonneau Cover which after market Tonneau Cover would you recommend with a MFT?

I love my mft option. Problem is sometimes I need the bix for luggage on long trips. Really gets dusty under the tonneau.. Anyone come up with a seal for the mft?

I can fit Yamaha Grizzly 700 in my ram with ram boxes. Tight fit but it fits

IDK, between the RamBox and the MFT, there's a lot of line's and gaps that I'm personally not a fan of.

This option should be made available to “ALL” the models not just the expensive models. I would have special ordered a Tradesman if I could have gotten the Multi function tail gate having to purchase an expensive model To get that feature Rebel and higher in price no way 👎👎 The GM trucks that weird tailgate they offer is available across all their models

Ram could have put a fake seam on the left side of the multifunction tailgate so it looks more symmetrical

The mopar trifold has the same issue with the gaps Ram says its because of the Ram boxes terrible engineering on this model
