- It is said that "You become like the people you spend the most time with. Choose wisely."
If this is the case, then the best choice you can make is to spend your time with an enlightened Guru who is free from all worries!
Of course, not all are fortunate enough to have the holy company of such a Guru. But at least we all can have the company of their books and videos containing their teachings.
Instead of wasting time on mundane activities and media entertainments, we can choose to study the life and teachings of great yogis and sages who attained freedom from all kinds of sufferings.
Their teachings will certainly help us in going beyond the illusions of this worldly existence.
Good news is that now we can access their teachings even on our mobile device for free! Thanks to our modern technology. In this way, one can even turn his/her mobile addiction into an opportunity to learn from enlightened Masters.
On the importance of holy company, great Guru Sri Adi Shankaracharya mentioned a verse in his Bhaja Govindam:
"Satsangatve nissangatvam
nissangatve nirmohatvam,
nirmohatve nischalatattvam
nischalatattve jivanmuktih."
Meaning: Through the company of the wise Sage, there arises non-attachment; from non-attachment comes freedom from delusion; where there is freedom from delusion, there is abidance in Self-knowledge, which leads to freedom while alive.
It is in this context that we have created this video series under the title, "Spend Your Time with an Enlightened Guru".
This is episode 4 of this video series and it contains teachings of enlightened saint Sri Brahmajna Ma. Teachings in this video is selected from the book 'The Life and Teachings of Sri Brahmajna Ma' by Swami Prabudhananda.
In this video, Sri Brahmajna Ma explains what hides the natural happiness of the Self or Pure Consciousness. Hope you all will get benefited from this.
About Brahmajna Ma:
Sri Brahmajna Ma (1880 - 1934) was a great Advaitin saint, and Enlightened Guru. Brahmajna Ma lived in east Bengal, India. Like Ramana Maharshi, she had no human guru, but attained enlightenment through her own efforts at self-inquiry.

False Gurus are there , because there false seekers. But there is false gold only, because real gold exists. So dont give up , do your homework and become a true disciple and when the time is ripe , your Guru will appear.

Interesting that Osho had a very different understanding regarding the role of sexuality. For him it wasn't necessarily an obstacle to realization. Whatever the case may be, it is certainly a risky path - for sex (or lust rather) tends to strengthen one's attachment to the body. You can say that provided one has sex with someone one loves, there's no problem. But even then, the attachment grows. Or can someone NOT be attached while having sex? Maybe there's a way: sex is seen as a divine expression of the universe, or expression of love. But can you do it without also strengthening attachment to the body? I'm not saying it's impossible, but it's very unlikely. It sounds more like wishful thinking to me. Bottom line: it doesn't seem to me that attachment (of any kind) is conducive to liberation, unless by that you mean that attachment becomes a teacher by which one, through suffering, learns to let go...
Hi buddy! It seems to me that the answer can be very simple:
It is not "you" who tastes life, it is Life itself that does it.
Life has no attachment to anything.
Life has neither past nor future, Life is only now. Attachment, on the other hand, looks to the past wanting to reproduce it in the future.
So: don't worry, just see that you are nothing but a short smile of Life.
There are no real problems, unless you "want" something and you can't have it. But "you" are not. So there are no problems ... :)
@@ferdinandocoluccelli9574 Sounds fine, so long as those aren't merely concepts or theory that cover up all sorts of fear and uncertainty. I've heard people speak as you do, but it's concepts they've heard from their guru or other people. It is not a realization to them or their everyday life.

What I've talked about are no concepts, it's what really IS. If you would to see it.
Maybe you are hiding yourself to yourself; if you would stop to do it, you may see that you are not what you believe to be, you are Life. And so am I.
These are only poor words, but there is something beyond them. You can find it, because you are it. Try to let all your thougths fall away for only a minute, be there in your essence, then you will know that it's true.
