In reality there is no mind. In delusion, there seems to be one. Most people have fallen victim to this delusion. So teachers like Nisargadatta point to ways of seeking through the illusion of the mind to find oneness again. When successful, the mirage of the mind disappears. So Nisargadatta was by no means deluded, he was one of the clearest of all teachers. UG is a strange case to me. He seems to have got stuck half way between delusion and clarity and made sort of an identification from that. He was very unhappy with his experience of clarity, which indicates that it was his deluded mind that had taken ownership of the situation in stead of vanishing. This happens often and is one of the pittfalls of seeking. He should have gone beyond even this last piece of mind, but for some reason it didn't happen for him. He was a casualty of seeking. The fact that he could't intuite what his famous namesake J. Krishnamurti pointed to (they met a few times) is indicatieve for his distortion.
@@paulmetdebbie447 This being You, as you wrote it, in the feeling and moment as you wrote it, being felt by others in the exact same way as when you wrote it... is the most correct answer by all experiential accounts. UGK is ultimately correct for those who go beyond the mind except to say that it does exist but should not. In a sense, it could vaguely be understood as the transistor in the circuit of life, controlling and amplifying experiences for the benefit of The Supreme / One looking back on itself from a different perspective. All the answers you seek, lie in the Ashtavakra Gita when you are ready. One Love.
