  • How long did it take the Soviets to reach the Führerbunker after Hitler's death? Do you know the story of the first Soviets who entered Hitler's bunker? Was there German resistance inside? Who did they find there? What was your reaction like? What was the investigation like to find the body of Hitler and other German leaders? What exactly did Stalin want?

I was always fascinated by the last battles in Berlin/WW2. Fighting without hope, knowing the war is lost. Great video

I wish they would make more war movies from the German perspective. When they do they are always trying to make it into some kind of love drama. Movies showing victories from the good guys are good but showing the perspective of the army in defeat is good too.

(War Academy ) channel is always the best 👌 👍🏻. Thanks for sharing this magnificent episode about Hitler suicide days aftermath...in Riechchanslary bunker... I think the suspension behavior of Stalin about everything covered the results of Soviets investigations..that was far from the certainties. in meantime Soviets exploited mysterious of Hitlers suicide to condemning Western allies during the Cold War years.

Question did Hitler actually died in the bunker and was burned outside still remains. Mark Felton made a couple of videos on the topic, and results are inconclusive.

That is the biggest secret of WW2 time and even of 20th century in Europa. Like, what was really happened with Napoleon Bonaparte in 19th century. He is poisoned from British agent or he really died of stomach cancer. Pozdrav!

He and his wife were shot by soviet soldiers and left there to rot. When the Americans arrived they found his body and made a hollywood type story of suicide. He was never burned. His body disappeared like Bin Laden's did. He never went to Argentina but many high ranking Nazis did aswell as Canada, Australia, and America.

He made a good point that substitute bodies were put where the Russians could find them. The bodies of Hitler and Braun were added to those in a mass grave. How would you abuse Hitler’s body? Put his head in a jar of formaldehyde and display it in a memorial in Stalingrad?

Stalin was perplexed by a telegram he received that day:
    I am not yet dead.
I can sing and I can dance.
    I am not yet dead.
I've been played by Bruno Ganz.
    I am not yet dead.
No need to send the Reds.
    I'm going out for strudel
    'Cause I'm not yet dead.
