Hello, I wasnt expecting this channel to do that well haha, so i’ll be trying some uploads on more licensed games over the coming weeks, and then see how things are, because I do have a lot of licensed games i actually wanna talk about here, so thank you for sticking around :)
Another thing about the console version is there’s actually a silver and gold version of the story where the requirement increases the points by 500. Also you get access to 4 more minigames if you completely beat it and a direct movie customizer where you can actually use all 6 characters.
Don’t know if you said this later in the video but the reason why Patrick didn’t get the role at goo lagoon is because he didn’t get 12K popularity points, only around 11K. Anyone needs to hit the point requirement to get the role and move on.
I remember that being hell on my first completed run of the game. Not at Goo Lagoon, but over at Downtown Bikini Bottom, the last minigame set. Had a tough time with those minigames and kept failing to hit the popularity threshold…and so did everyone else. So that final set was a purgatory I had to repeat, like, 5 times.
I played way too much of this game as a kid, though I was never good at it. Don't think I ever even made it past the 2nd movie. Interestingly, my roommate looked over while I was watching this video and went, "We gotta invite the gang over to play this sometime." So yeah, 20 years later, I'll finally be able to play this with four players. Funny how life works.
I still say AWE Games made the world of Spongebob feel more alive at times than even the show itself. Their skyboxes for Bikini Bottom and the other locales are so fucking pretty!
The background art is phenomenal honestly! The 3D models obviously haven't aged well, but the 2D backgrounds are gorgeous, as are the 2D animations. They're so creative and funny, too, and I think it's endearing how they clearly just had non-VAs do some of the voicework. I saw an AMA with one of the dev team members and he said they had to cut so many dick jokes... for some reason...
The number of times Pearl has been in the games can literally be counted on a single hand. The only 2 I know she’s been in were the very first one, Legend of the Lost Spatula, on the Game Boy Color and the most recent one, The Cosmic Shake.
I forgot this game even existed it was super fun when I was a kid even though I just played with the bots lol and there was a Shrek party game for the PS2 also that one was pretty fun too but I can't remember what it's called I forgot about it untill I saw this
If you ever need anyone to try and play these type of nostalgic multi-player games with; I'd personally be open to trying to play together through Parsec. It might take some technical tinkering , but I've never had any issues playing with someone via parsec.

I'm in it for the long haul. You make a video, I'll watch and enjoy it. Simple equation!

The game didn't let you proceed in Goo Lagoon with the opponent getting the role because you didn't pass the minimum score. You sucked that bad.
holy mary mother of joseph, you back!
Very silly video! It reminded me to water my bread, walk my car, and drive my plant.
❤ Good Times,
Remembered me & my sister used to Scream at each other for messing up with the others Winning Streaks.
This was my sister's favorite game growing up. So I'll always have a soft spot for it. Nothing but good memories with my old partner in crime
