Going to start my first ever wood carve today. Found a scrap 2x4 on the side of the road and cleaned it up last night. Your channel and your carvings are awesome.
I have been devouring your videos! Thank you for all your helpful and positive info. I do basic woodburning and want to do more with it and you're videos have been so inspiring!
Thanks for your inspiration Matt, I just bought some carbon paper and I'm going to try my first celtic carving on a walking stick. I can't draw as well as you so I'll have to use templates to make my design. Uh-Oh forgot the tracing paper 📄
Wow. That is some amazing info you just gave away for free. I really need to work on my organizational skills. Matt, you're crushin it brother! Thank you for everything 👊🏼🐻 Have you seen the 4 dot method of making celtic knots? It did wonders for my knots, and there is so much that can be done using that simple method. Helped me even up my lines, too.
Quick question. I want to eventually purchase the razor tip wood burner. There are so many different options and kits on the actual webpage. Do you have a recommendation? Same goes for wood carving. I’d like to get the one you mentioned in a video. The Foredom. But I see the same issues. So many different options. I guess I don’t recommendations as much as how do choose which one to get? I am new to this craft. So I’m not planning on jumping up and buying tomorrow. But at some point I would like to. Thank you and have a great rest the weekend
Hey there! Great question. There are many "middle of the road" options available on amazon. I do have other videos on picking the right rotary tool that would answer this question in depth.
Haha! Great question. Begin to consistently posting your work on social media and sprinkle in tips and tricks about what you are doing. These 2 things will attract clients.

Your artwork looks great. You should do an art book (e-book) & sell for ppl to use as stencil.
That's a great idea!

Here's a question for ya big corn, how do you secure new clientele?

You could have used 4 overlapping donut shapes as a guide, which would be better than a ruler.
Great Tip!
