    Should I do the oblique sit-up on both sides or just one? I only ask because you mentioned to stenghten the lower trunk to the right and upper trunk to the left. I actually have the exact issue described in the video. My right side is anterior slightly with an inflare. My left side is posterior in relation to the right side and maybe a slight bit out flared. I also present as if the whole pelvis is rotated to the left and have a slightly shorter left leg by about 6-8mm. Thanks for any and all info, people like you are angels in human form. P.s. I got prescribed a heel lift a while back I've worn it in and off and don't really think it makes s difference what so ever. I wonder if my LLD over a lifetime messed the function of my muscles in the pelvic area and now I gotta work them out of it?

    So would exercising the left adductor, and the right abductor be sufficient in correcting this?

      If there is neurologic reflex inhibition then no you have to remove the inhibition

    I know you talk about the pelvis causing cervical reflex in the transverse and frontal planes but could it also work the opposite way where the head tilts due to cervical ligament instability and pelvis compensates to bring eyes level? it feel like this happened to me where cervical is sidebent left as well as complete loss of lordosis (seen on xray) and pelvis hiked up on the right causing deep posterior hip pain and right si pain, pronated right foot.

      It is possible as I do see it but quite rare for “top down”

    Thanks for sharing. I have stiff left ileum that is so stuck which wont 'inflare'. And it wont even move when I walk or sit and it causes a huge imbalance. I find my symptom very identical to what you mentioned in the video.
    I find so many videos in your channel and would like to know the differences of type 1 and type 2. Also I would like to ask if there are some must watch videos for self rehab since there are many videos of your practice.
    It is hard to find a therapist who follows your approach in my country(South Korea) so it would be super helpful if you could reply back😊😊

      I like my basic and intermediate ball exercises for general mobility type 1 flar has greater anterior/ posterior mobility impairment in transverse plane type 2 more medial lateral lots of great rehab studies from s korea

    how often one should do this correction.thank you

      Outflare is so rare so-called anterior ilium is probably an oblique twist of entire pelvis on femoral head. I cannot give advice for medicolegal reasons and of course i dont know if you have that pattern. For my clients twice a week two minutes suffices. Perhaps your pt can study my online course see hesch institute home page and advise you

    Is there a self test to determine what ilium has outflare/inflare?

      Thank you for doing this! I’m also wondering how to self test this. I observe it, but don’t want to work on correction without verifying. Also, theOblique crunches you describe: with those be on the left side? I’ve been working with a postural restoration physical therapist, and I have what they described as a left AIC pattern. Meaning my whole pelvis is rotated to the right and I’m focused on the right side. However, my observation is that I have a right and flare left out flare of the upper part of my ilium. I also have sacroiliac joint dysfunction and weakness. So it sort of compounding the whole thing. I live in an area of the country where accessing physical therapy and chiropractic support for this particular situation is tricky. I can’t tolerate manual chiropractic adjustments because my ligaments are damaged, and it’s caused my entire nervous system to kind of be on fire. And I have to drive three hours to go to the physical therapist that understands the postural component. Any help you can provide would be wonderful. Also, I had emailed you several months back contemplating coming to visit you, but physically that’s impossible. It’s also financially a little out of reach. So I just want to say thank you for all the help you provide here.

    can someone have a bilateral inflare?

  • @2fastnfurious4u

    guess that what Jerry talks about is better known as left AIC pattern

    • @JerryHeschInstitute
      @JerryHeschInstitute  2 роки тому +1

      You cannot visually recognize this pattern if subtle. I use passive load-spring-recoil mobility/ integrity testing. So I would submit that the left AIC pattern and Hesch definition of Type 1 (not to confused w type 2) might not be the same.

      @@JerryHeschInstitute Tnx, you have more specific definitions then 👍 it would be helpful to know what are the limitations in IR/ER , flexion/extension of these variants
