Ok. This is to all cat lovers, vegan protestors and 12 year old weebs who don’t have common knowledge. Also, read this entire damn paragraph before you go spitting shit.
Cats are not a benefit to society, my opinion is that they should stay indoors rather than their owners letting them outside. Just the same as dogs, you wouldn’t let your dog to roam around the streets. You may say, “it’s just nature cats are a part of nature let them do what they’re instincts tell them”. Yes, cats are nature, they are animals after all BUT they were not what nature intended. Humans bred cats and dogs from their original forms (wolves and big cats) to become smaller domesticated pets. This is definitely not what nature intended. They breed out of control and can spread disease and they kill wild animals not just birds but small mammals and other animals.
In my country (Australia) Ferrell cats have cause many NATIVE animals to become endangered and have made some species go extinct!
It’s the same in many other countries too, they are a burden to the native wildlife, a pest. I’m not saying that they are ALWAYS a pest, because there are some people who lets their cats live inside where they can’t harm anything and that I agree with. It’s better and if trained correctly, they won’t become bored. You might say that someone may live somewhere that’s too small, in that case you shouldn’t even have a pet. If anything, I believe cats should be in a jungle area so that other predators can help to regulate their numbers, so they don’t breed out of control. I respect all life and I’m not like some people here who say they would “poison the cats” or shoot them or all those other nasty things, because that’s just inappropriate. Be mature about it, don’t start fights because *we all have a right to our own opinions* This is just my opinion. If you’ve made it this far, thank you.

Cats are an invasive species. Just because some people think that they are cute for some reason, doesn't mean that they should be unleashed upon the environment to do this. If I saw a cat doing this, I would kill it before it got the bird.

I would rather avoid encounter snakes to be honest, falling into a snake pit would be the worst, the shock and stuff. I did kill a snake for being too close, I was walking and I stopped my step because I felt something wasn't right and I look and see a snake, I was in shock grabbed huge rock flatted it.

We shouldn't be praising or celebrating this. 4 billion birds are killed by outdoors cats annually; thats 10% of the population.
40 Species have gone extinct solely from outdoor cats. Chile almost had all their hummingbirds go extinct. Australia has committed in euthanizing 2 million feral cats because they've already wiped out many native species and continue doing so.

Da Dragon Durp Really? because cats kill more lizards than birds and rats combined but they are invasive animals that ruin wildlife still yet, they kill all sorts of native creatures so when nature strikes back cat lovers are whining and complaining, and cats are also a coyotes favorite food according to them cats make about 40% of their diet so this is why every domesticated pet must be kept indoors its shouldn't stay outside and like a wild animal!

of course cats do kill for pleasure or how else do you explain why they hunt, play with their prey until its dead and then leave the prey in many times? a bird or two in a month? its not that unuseual they wipe out a complete birds nest with 3-4 young birds at once. what do you think is the reason we do hunt and kill pythons in florida? its because they arent part of native ecosystem! they do massive harm to native wildlive and snakes do kill way less animals than cats do. since crocs and snakes are protected animals in most places hunting of them is for population control. dont call people that do know more about your pet than yourself dumb ass. ;)
