The fact that Rose inc decided to release cream eyeshadows right after both you AND Julia Adams did “full face of Rose Inc.” videos is hilarious to me 😂
I wanted to confirm, I have the Rose Inc tint and I also have oily skin and it doesn’t make me turn into an oil slick. It adds dew and it’s super lightweight I’ve been loving it for every day no-makeup makeup looks.
The bangs look beautiful! And I appreciate you securing them out of the way while you were applying makeup so we could see how product applied on the perimeter of the face
I have dry skin and have had the complete opposite experience with the Rose Inc concealer! It's a tried and true for me and always looks so hydrated and flawless and I love how much coverage it has!
I have the Rose Inc skin tint and have mildly oily skin and this is great! I have it in two shades as I missed using it when I had fake tan on and I’ve also gotten my mum addicted, she has a job that involves a lot of physical aspects and it lasts beautifully on her skin throughout the day and it stayed on my skin through the UK heatwaves even though I was sweating like crazy.
I also think the skin tint is great! I had just purchased it and started falling in love when I moved to sunny LA and immediately turned two shades darker despite wearing SPF every day 🤦🏻♀️ It’s so expensive so I’ve held off purchasing another, but I miss it every day!!!
Jamie I am so with you on that Merit Tinted Lip Oil. I just have one in Sangria (want more -- Pink Beet, Taupe, Falcon!) and I love it more than almost all of the other glosses/lip oils in my collection because it stays so thin, slippy and lightweight and doesn't thicken or become sticky over time the way most of the others do. Great shine and I just adore the color. On my lips Sangria has a medium-deep reddish appearance that is so lively and flattering (makes the teeth look whiter). Not the longest lasting product but I find it fades fairly evenly, leaves a slight tint as it does and my lips feel supple and hydrated. Love it so much!
I've been so curious about Merit, especially their new lipsticks, but never tried them. I'm so glad they added more product to their complexion stick, it's nice to see a company who listens to customer feedback.
When I first tried merit foundation stick I found it stuck to dry patches. When I revisited it this summer it worked perfectly. My skin is less dry in the summer. I paired it with CT flawless filter underneath. Just use it to even things out in key areas. A little goes a long way. I absolutely love it.
I just tried this concealer and it is actually my favorite after trying many of the high end ones. I have textured skin that easily appears dry under my eyes, yet this works.
I would 100% agree that the rose inc concealer does not feel hydrating to me, buuuuuut I still like it! I have very dry skin as well, but even though this product was not as hydrating as I'd hoped - quite the opposite actually - it somehow looks flawless on my skin without feeling too heavy or dry, I have always had a hard time liking concealers and the Rose Inc concealer blends well on my skin, doesn't budge throughout the day even with the constant mask wearing and sweating that happens at my job. I do have to blend it out with my fingers for it to work for me. Every other method I've tried just gives it a weird texture. The concealer is the only product I've tried from Rose Inc and your video has me super excited to try the rest of the line!
I love the merit lipstick and the mascara. I think I have almost all the lipstick shades now, but Cabo is still my favorite. As somebody with perpetual leaky mascara, the merit mascara is so nice and it really doesn't move. I love the super "clean" look for mascara as you said, that's a good description of it. I love how lengthening it is and no smudging. That's all I want from a mascara!
The Merit lipstick in the shade Slip is the best beauty product that I've ever owned. It's super moisturizing and creamy but the shade is perfection. I have light olive skin and that is literally the perfect shade.
Yay, the 2 brands I've been interested in lately. I'm excited for Rose Inc's new cream eyeshadows so I can't wait for your try out! I got to say that my favorite Rose Inc product is their skin serum tint. I will continue purchasing it. Meanwhile, I love the Merit lip oils and lipsticks. I'm super interested in their bronzer and highlighter.
I have the merit mascara and it absolutely comes off with warm water. You just have to hold the washcloth on for like a second and it slips right off. My cleansing balm is actually less effective than straight water on it. I really like it!
omg i am SO GLAD you gave an update on the merit mascara, i thought i was going crazy cause it definitely is not a tubing formula. i started thinking it was my cleansing balm breaking the mascara down weird aka not in tubes LOL. thank you for all that you do
So I have more of an oily skin type and I use the rose inc concealer and I noticed that when I use a brush or my fingers to apply it looks great BUT if I use a damp beauty sponge it looks like a hot mess. Not sure if you’ve tried using it with your finger or a brush but to me it looks way better applied that way. You look gorgeous btw ❤️
Ok first of all you are the best at reviewing products! You just explain everything so well and perfectly. Also the rose foundation reminds me of the new Chanel line that has foundation and concealer and I believe blush as well that has all those bubbly things in the bottle too. I definitely like the rose bronzer better on you it doesn’t look as patchy. Your lips…..well we all know how wonderful they look!
Wow turns out I'm Team Rosie. I think her products just meshed better and looked nicer when you were done. I don not like for my products to leave my skin sticky or balmy really, I prefer when they dry down more. Thanks for the comparisons!
The only way I could get the Rose Inc concealer to work is by putting the absolute TINIEST amount on my ring finger, mix in a bit of eye primer, rub my two ring fingers together and tap that under the eyes. Is it overly complicated? Yes. Am I going to persist because of how dang expensive that concealer was? Also yes.
I actually use this concealer as a foundation and it looks beautiful! You just need a very well hydrated base and then it blends like a dream. Also letting the concealer dry down a bit before blending works better too (wether thats on the back of my hand or under my eyes)
ahahah, same was with Julia. She filmed a video full face of Rose Inc, and same evening they came with new products : d will be waiting for a review from both sides. lovee
I'm honestly relieved to hear your thoughts on the rose Inc concealer because another UA-camr I watch raved about it, so I got it, and I HATED IT. It was so thick and dry and didn't blend well into my other products. I returned it immediately.
Love both of these brands! Specifically the Merit lipstick/oils and the highlight & the Rose Inc blushes. I am curious to try the rose inc bronzers & the skin tint.
Hello I love your videos. Thank you for sharing. I have had my eye in the merit brush used in video but heard bad reviews that once washed its ruined. Can you please clarify if this is true? Thank you for your time.❤
Sort of in line with the merit brush but I would love to see a review of the brushes that you use! There are so many options and it’s so hard to know which types are essential, which brands are best, etc etc
I think the merit stick was just repackaged since the old packaging would not secure the stick and would break in transit. And I think it has more product but the formula is the same!
I originally came here for tips to use the rose inc concealer because I had the same feelings. I saw another video where she used her fingers and I absolutely love the concealer now!
That concealer is my absolute favourite! So sad that it didn't work for you and Julia. I find the tiniest amount goes a long way, and it doesn't get as dry looking on me as most other concealers.
My favorite products from Merit are the balm highlighters, the lipsticks, and the blushes. I really want to try the blushes from Rose Inc. While the tinted skin product from Rose Inc was pretty, I didn’t think it played well with other products.
Jamie, if these aren’t your absolute favorites for dry skin, what’s your holy grail concealer? I use Armani luminous silk currently, but I’m curious to know your preference.
I ordered the Merit bronzer balm to use on bare skin since I really don’t wear foundation anymore. I will try it over my Shiseido skin tint though and hopefully it won’t lift that.
I’m also a fan of the Merit lip oil in Marrakesh. The color is very close to my natural lips so it gives them just a bit extra evenness and def shine. It does wear off quickly though.
ah! the merit balm bronzer looks like it removed the foundation underneath as it was being blended in + swiped on! also the advert photos for the bronzer are brutal a def pass for me
Amanda Z on UA-cam mentions that it does. She had to reapply her foundation and go back in with stippling it strait down with a brush. If I’m explaining it correctly.
I’m so sad you don’t love the concealer! 😭😭😭 i love it so so much and the coverage is insane to me. I always why I wonder why I don’t see any one talk about it 😂 I will say I have to prep my undereyes with eye cream before application or I can look a bit dry
my understanding is merit foundation is the same (I use and love) just new packaging and you get more of the product. Find that it applies better with a wet sponge looks different also
Love the merit blush in terracotta. That colour is the best at giving me a sunkissed look! You’re right that the formula is very balmy. My only real complaint is that it’s just a bit too shear. I end up using quite a bit for very little colour pay off. Not looking for full glam but It would be better with just slightly more pigment.
The rose inc looks amazing (the bronzer) it looks like skin. The other one looks like it’s sitting on top of the skin and Looks a tiny a tiny bit patchy after seeing it side by side with the rose inc.
I love both companies but I prefer the rose inc blushes amd the lip oils from merit. I find the rose inc skin tint way too drying for my dry skin. I wanted to love it but alas.
It’s soooo funny, I love Taylor Wynn and she did not like the rose inc skin tint or the concealer all that much yet I fell in love with both of them. I have fine lines and very dry skin with old acne scars and I love a youthful glow natural look and on my skin I found the rose inc product sat beautifully and lasted all day without having to be powered, the meshed so well with my skin without showing texture and smoothed out my skin while just looking like skin. I feel head over heals and ordered backup right away. So you are 100% right everyone’s skin is very different I remember purchasing a foundation a few years ago that everyone LOVED and it never looked good on me and I tried it over and over again but it just wouldn’t work for me and it made me so upset I wanted the same beautiful results I was hearing everyone speak of but I wasn’t getting that instead I got a flaky cakey look and so now I just do t ever use that foundation so everyone is just different
honestly rose inc has been so impressive to me! really feels like a celeb brand done right
The fact that Rose inc decided to release cream eyeshadows right after both you AND Julia Adams did “full face of Rose Inc.” videos is hilarious to me 😂
it truly feels like they did it on purpose
Very unfair hahaha
They actually don’t come out until September!
@@JamiePaige they were totally trolling you 😂
Product development takes several years, and launches are planned 6-12 Months ahead of time.
I wanted to confirm, I have the Rose Inc tint and I also have oily skin and it doesn’t make me turn into an oil slick. It adds dew and it’s super lightweight I’ve been loving it for every day no-makeup makeup looks.
Great to hear!!
I send that as someone with an oily t zone who also loves this product!
Another oily skin gal who loves this skin tint 🙋🏼♀️ it kind of sets the skin when it dries down
The bangs look beautiful! And I appreciate you securing them out of the way while you were applying makeup so we could see how product applied on the perimeter of the face
I have dry skin and have had the complete opposite experience with the Rose Inc concealer! It's a tried and true for me and always looks so hydrated and flawless and I love how much coverage it has!

their lipsticks are holy grail for me
When I first tried merit foundation stick I found it stuck to dry patches. When I revisited it this summer it worked perfectly. My skin is less dry in the summer. I paired it with CT flawless filter underneath. Just use it to even things out in key areas. A little goes a long way. I absolutely love it.
🥸Trying to figure out which colour would suit me best in Rose blush. Any suggestions daughter?
I would love to watch a vid of you retrying the merit foundation and trying out the new rose inc cream shadows!
It wasn't reformulated, just added more product to the stick!💗
OH!?! wow their promo for it did not make that super clear hahah my bad!
I love that they did that! so transparent and feels like they are actually listening to consumer feedback :)
The rose inc blush and highlighter had to grow on me but now I'm literally obsessed
I definitely agree, the rose inc tinted serum works nicely with my oily skin.
I just tried this concealer and it is actually my favorite after trying many of the high end ones. I have textured skin that easily appears dry under my eyes, yet this works.

OMG OBSESSED with ur video concepts Jamie!!!! So happy every time you post.
thanks so much for watching love!
In love w/ rose inc cream blushes & bronzer 🙌🏽
I love the merit lipstick and the mascara. I think I have almost all the lipstick shades now, but Cabo is still my favorite. The Merit lipstick in the shade Slip is the best beauty product that I've ever owned. It's super moisturizing and creamy but the shade is perfection. I have light olive skin and that is literally the perfect shade.
ugh I LOVE IT
I have had an impossible time finding a nude that looks good with my skin tone, and Slip is it!!
What is the blue nail polish you are wearing? It looks beautiful
omg i am SO GLAD you gave an update on the merit mascara, i thought i was going crazy cause it definitely is not a tubing formula. i started thinking it was my cleansing balm breaking the mascara down weird aka not in tubes LOL. thank you for all that you do
I have the mascara and my cleansing balm can’t touch it but just warm water on a washcloth breaks it down right away.
Oh yess! Please review the new merit foundation/concealer !
Ok first of all you are the best at reviewing products! You just explain everything so well and perfectly. I definitely like the rose bronzer better on you it doesn’t look as patchy. Your lips…..well we all know how wonderful they look!
A review of the Merit Foundation would be wonderful!! I am very curious about how it wears!
The Rose inc blush and Merit highlighter .... chefs kiss ❤❤ I LOVE LOVE LOVE those 2 products, it makes your "flush" look SO natural!
Wow turns out I'm Team Rosie. I think her products just meshed better and looked nicer when you were done. I don not like for my products to leave my skin sticky or balmy really, I prefer when they dry down more. Thanks for the comparisons!
I loveeee that mascara on you! It looks so fresh and fully opened your eyes up!
Also yes.
True I was gonna suggest the same hack / technique❤️
I actually use this concealer as a foundation and it looks beautiful! You just need a very well hydrated base and then it blends like a dream. Also letting the concealer dry down a bit before blending works better too (wether thats on the back of my hand or under my eyes)
Love both of these brands! Also Rose Inc has 6 new blush shades on their website. Their shipping to Canada is really good too
So natural and fresh! Absolutely stunning look!
Can’t wait to watch the video!
wow rose inc looks so good. thanks for this. and please tell me what nail polish that is!! gorgeous!!
Love these two brands 😍 héliotrope blush is my favorite blush ever
The new formula from Merit is wonderful!
ahahah, same was with Julia. She filmed a video full face of Rose Inc, and same evening they came with new products : d will be waiting for a review from both sides. lovee
ooooh super intrigued by the the green roseinc shadow. I have 2 roseinc blushes and some merit lip products and I love them!!!
i am IN LOVE with your hairrr 😍
I like your bright red head band!!
I'm honestly relieved to hear your thoughts on the rose Inc concealer because another UA-camr I watch raved about it, so I got it, and I HATED IT. It was so thick and dry and didn't blend well into my other products. I returned it immediately.
For anyone else considering it, for reference I have: normal/combo skin, but sometimes it is dehydrated and has occasional dry patches.
Will you try the rose inc blush shades? (Sorry for all the comments lol)
Love both of these brands! Specifically the Merit lipstick/oils and the highlight & the Rose Inc blushes. I am curious to try the rose inc bronzers
& the skin tint.
Love this look! Two of my fave brands rn! Curious about the new rose inc lipsticks
Thank you for the comparison. Please share your nail polish color???
I think the merit stick was just repackaged since the old packaging would not secure the stick and would break in transit. And I think it has more product but the formula is the same!
I originally came here for tips to use the rose inc concealer because I had the same feelings. I saw another video where she used her fingers and I absolutely love the concealer now!
That concealer is my absolute favourite! So sad that it didn't work for you and Julia. I find the tiniest amount goes a long way, and it doesn't get as dry looking on me as most other concealers.
This proves how makeup performs on different people and skin types, it's just such a personal choice and experience ❤️❤️
yes please review the new merit foundation!!
Everytime I watch your videos recently I keep thinking to buy the Merit lipsticks. Beautiful!
They are so so nice
What is the nail polish shade you are wearing?
My favorite thing of all time is the Ross tinted serum!!!
My favorite products from Merit are the balm highlighters, the lipsticks, and the blushes. I really want to try the blushes from Rose Inc. While the tinted skin product from Rose Inc was pretty, I didn’t think it played well with other products.
Rose, Inc. makes some incredible cream products. I'm a big fan of this brand and wish it was talked about more.
Yes, same experience with Rose Inc. concealer!
I love merits mascara, the brow pomade, foundation stick and the lip slick. The blush doesn’t hold
The Merit bronzer lifted right when you tapped your cheek. 😳 I’m still wearing a mask & I was eyeing this, but now I’m thinking I’ll skip it.
Red is a great colour on you!
I am intrigued my the items that you mentioned.
I would love to try both brands!!! Thank you for this review!!!
Hey Nasia
Jamie, if these aren’t your absolute favorites for dry skin, what’s your holy grail concealer? I use Armani luminous silk currently, but I’m curious to know your preference.
Is that a one size beauty headband??? I would LOVE to see you review some of their products!! I’m so intrigued!
I ordered the Merit bronzer balm to use on bare skin since I really don’t wear foundation anymore. I will try it over my Shiseido skin tint though and hopefully it won’t lift that.
this video is SO helpful and entertaining. thx
I’m also a fan of the Merit lip oil in Marrakesh. The color is very close to my natural lips so it gives them just a bit extra evenness and def shine. It does wear off quickly though.
How would you compare the Kosas tinted brow gel and merit one? I’ve repurchased and repurchased the Kosas but always product curious.
ah! the merit balm bronzer looks like it removed the foundation underneath as it was being blended in + swiped on! also the advert photos for the bronzer are brutal a def pass for me
Yeah, I also felt like it was patchy.
The promo photos are sooo bad for the merit product lol thank you for bringing that up.
I’m glad someone said this. I saw the promo photos and was like uhhhhh
Amanda Z on UA-cam mentions that it does. She had to reapply her foundation and go back in with stippling it strait down with a brush. If I’m explaining it correctly.
Merit lip oil my absolute favorite ♥️xoxo
jamie giving hot rosie the riveter vibes
Thank You Lexi
Hi Jamie! What shade do you wear in the rose inc skin tint?
Hi Jamie I love your nails!! What color is that?
I’m so sad you don’t love the concealer! 😭😭😭 i love it so so much and the coverage is insane to me. I always why I wonder why I don’t see any one talk about it 😂 I will say I have to prep my undereyes with eye cream before application or I can look a bit dry
I love Merit lipsticks also! My current favorite!
Jamie: this concealer is not good.
Also Jamie: I'm gonna put it on anyway.
Way to take one for the team boo!
Gotta do what you gotta do!
Hey Millers
my understanding is merit foundation is the same (I use and love) just new packaging and you get more of the product. Find that it applies better with a wet sponge looks different also
i think the rose inc concealer is a bit dry but definitely really nice if you use a small amount.
Please do a review on the new merit foundation! That would so nice.
What nail polish are you wearing?
I’ve experienced the same dry down with the nars radiant creamy concealer ☹️ I want to love it but it’s a bit too dry for me!!
its def not a very hydrating formula!
i really love this more natural eye look on you jamie. too bad you didn’t have the rose inc lipsticks for a comparison. would have loved to see that.
Yess omg the concealer did not make sense to me either but love the foundation tho, cheaper alt to the Chanel les beige
Idk the merit bronzer looked like it lifted up the skin tint underneath when you applied it :(
It did
it def did! i only noticed after looking back at the footage!
Does the merit just not work with the rose inc formulation?
Love merit lipstick. I have the color millennial. I'm going to get that red next!!
I LOOOOVE MERIT
anyone else watch these for the nail inspo??? 💅🏼😍
The rose inc looks amazing (the bronzer) it looks like skin. The other one looks like it’s sitting on top of the skin and Looks a tiny a tiny bit patchy after seeing it side by side with the rose inc.
I def agree!
Has anyone tried going in with the Merit bronzer on a brush instead of directly onto the face?
nothing to see, but where does this sublime mirror come from? c:
I wish I could get Merit in New Zealand! No international shipping yet.
My all time favorite lip oil is from merit beauty
Does ayone know what shade does she use in Rose Inc Bronzer?
Please ID your nail color! Such a nice cornflower blue.
I love both companies but I prefer the rose inc blushes amd the lip oils from merit. I find the rose inc skin tint way too drying for my dry skin. I wanted to love it but alas.
Em Cosmetics vs Rare Beauty next!!
I actually did that a couple months back!
