yep. Just bought a 2017 performance with a $160k sticker for half msrp and its a ton of car for money. I had a 2016 and it didn't have car play out the box, 2017 does which makes car feel very modern. Had a 2022 RS7 and the 17' feels much faster. Only thing I wish they put on the older cars was 4 wheel turning .
Torque Junkies Dude, you're talking about acceleration figures of sedans and Tesla isn't in the conversation?! The RS7 is obviously very quick. But it is still no match for a Tesla Model S P100D. The Tesla can reach the 1/4 mile in 10.5 seconds. And it is still heavier than the RS7, weighing over 4900lbs.
Sven Teresniak First of all, that is your opinion! And you do not represent ANYONE (including other Germans) but yourself, with regards to your views and opinions. And, I personally disagree with you. Not only do I think the Tesla Model S P100D is a beautiful car. But I also think it is one of the better-looking sedans on the market. And the car have received accolades regarding its design by several car journalists and automotive enthusiats all across the globe. In fact, the folks at Motor Trend pointed out that the exterior design of the P100D is very similar to that of the RS7, in their most recent comparison test of the two sedans. The Car Connection gave it a 9/10 on exterior styling. And even Alaatin62 (in one of his video review and test drive of a red Model S) pointed out that "it is just a gorgeous car," repeatedly. Secondly, why does everything have to be about "looks"? I, mean, a car is intended to transport people from Point A-B. And we also enjoy the great performance of the more powerful ones. These are the reasons why we by vehicles. I don't see the significance of "looks," especially when it comes to chosing a car. Are some of us really that insecure? I, mean, are you buying a car in order to help you feel better about yourself?
sorry could not ignore your shoes i think i had those as a school boy in the 80’s, i did not know they were back in fashion. Good review keep up the good work.
I did 16 laps on the Autobahn track in october last year. It was a 2016 model along with 16 laps on the r8. i think these are amazing cars. The accerelation is very smooth. loved it. But R8 V10 plus puts this car to shame. Its just brutal.
R8 doesnt put this to shame smh... This car weighs somuch more than the R8 and is 4-5 seater and still catches close to a v10 engine when its v8. If anything the r8 is put to shame but they are both Audi and amazing cars.
You don't even know what im talking about. The acceleration from stand still is just brutal. This car is very fast but they are not comparable. I was pulling 2.6 seconds again and again in R8 plus but the best I got out of RS7 was 3.3 seconds. Thats a big difference. The power to weight advantage in R8 is significant. Handling is different too since I was on a track.
My friend owns an exotic car dealership and has driven every car from Rolls Royce, Bentley, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Ashton Martin, Maserati, to etc and said this is the most fun, comfortable and practical car he has ever owned. For the price, you get a little touch of all the exotics in one. And trunk space he said is amazingly big also.
The car is really fast, the only real people that can afford this are A.) Kids with rich parents or B.) A retired old man that will have a heart attack when he goes on the throttle ( £110,000 )
thats not true... its called hard work and financial responsibility. Im 33 and Own a A6, S5 and S6..... keep grinding instead of bitching and you may go places....
@@Anonymous-qj3ry well, I bought the A6 first, then a year or so later decided I wanted an S6. No reason to get rid of the A6 since it was paid off. So I just use it as a daily driver now, and it also gets way better gas mileage
Audi having some RS7 models with the generic and basic front seats from the regular A6 & A7 was a real injustice for the whole idea of an RS7. What decision makers decided that was a good idea.
Chance Hightower It's a sedan for God's sake. I've always hated that "4 door coupe" nomenclature. It's completely paradoxical. A coupe has 2 doors + one trunk, a sedan has 4 doors + a trunk.
Love the white, love the rims, love the front and headlights. But the back design doesn't match at all with the front. It looks like it's two different cars. The front sporty and luxurious and the back typical american muscle car with ugly taillights. 👊👎
Get ur facts straight on ur quarter miles times on hellcats they are low 11s.not mid 11s im 6'4 300lbs and made a 11.1 pass at 126mph in my bone stock hellcat

Michael Harris That is true (although fast can also be used to describe acceleration). The word "fast" is more frequently or generally used than "quick," in describing velocity or speed. A Tesla P100D can reach the 1/4 quicker than an Audi RS7. But we can't say it is faster than an RS7, because its top speed is 155mph, while the RS7 can go up to 190mph.
If that engine is not warmed up and your revving it to 5k and not actually driving, hence very low oil pressure. If so, you don't even deserve to drive that car
You can find these fully loaded on the used market for half the original MSRP and its a LOT of car for the price. I love mine.

tmat04 the P100D is in a league of its own lol that's why I didn't mention it
Because the P100D is incredible fast, but ugly. At least for German eyes.

hilarious accelleration reaction bro !!
Like your guys vibe and videos, keep it up!
my dream car.
Awesome car!! Love Audi products too. Cool videos. Unique style and delivery. South Florida rocks. lol
David Segarra Thank you! Yes I love Florida
I would love to see any hellcat hit a 3.6 0-60mph on a street tire
True
btw. you made a small mistake. the rs7 has a 8speed auto it is not a dual clutch. some of your reviews are decent . i like the subaru sti one.
Thanks, and I appreciate feedback when I make mistakes!
You're right, the DCT can't handle the torque, an automatic can because of its viscous coupling.
So it’s a hatchback as well! That is amazing my friend.
The RS7 has a ZF 8-speed torque converter automatic, not a dual clutch.
Why do you get so many dislikes? Your reviews are amazing. Haters.
Dam no sport seats?? My 15 is a dynamic with red honey comb stitching and the carbon package in and out! Love them!
Getting mine in july, cant wait
i bet the dealship watched this and was like, "who did we just let drive our car?" lol.
Section8 millionaire nope, they let me drive there cars when ever I want 😉
Nice review bud, sub'd
+Streetbikechamp thanks man!
That’s where I bought my Audi from 😂
Great review, I love your reactions!
Thank you so much for that
Tip for future vids don't repeat things you say in the space of 5 seconds, makes it seem quite amateur, other than that, decent vids mate
Adrian Varghese thank you for your feedback! Will do
Torque Junkies Nice that you can handle constructive criticism. I am now a subscriber to your channel. Keep up the good work sir!
he IS an amateur.....LOL
You're fun to watch I enjoy your videos nice on the eyes too lol
Cameron thank you 😊
Cameron fi7
That fucking sound is amazing
tristan bell I know 😍😍
Need to figure out how to use launch control and then you can really have a smile on your face.
Yeah, up for another video!!
the RS7 doesnt have launch control because it has the 8 speed and not the 7 speed DSG.... --A S6 Owner
I had to re play that exhaust clip about 10 times
I’ve already played it 10 times and I’m gonna keep going
Wonder what maintenance is like for this bad girl
I know this is a bit late but the RS7 performance did 0-60 in 3.7secs not 3.2secs it was only 0.2secs fast than that standard car
Are you seriously comparing it with a hellcat? Even putting an american car name next to it is wrong lol..
Comparing an Audi RS7 to a Dodge hellcat is like comparing McDonald's to Ruff's Chris...........
yeah the ones you mention both suck big time!!
Ruth.
Love your reactions! lol. Sexy car and certainly would be fun to drive!
VQ3713 Thanks! It's an unbelievable car 🚗
no dual clutch on the RS7
Great Videos.. you should add a "cold start" clip to your videos.. everyone likes a good cold start.. cheers
Iam Blades thank you for your feedback! I've been wanting to start doing that for a while.
Torque Junkies no worries I'm far from perfect and just thought it's something car people will be drawn to..
Iam Blades I appreciate that, this kind of feed back is what makes my content continually improving. Thank you! 😊
Its exhaust note sounds like a mighty lion's rumbling fart. I like it.
i absolutely hate people that drive like they always hit something lol @8:22
Dude - go take a Tesla P100D out for a drive. This RS7 will seem like crap afterwards.
Wtf does a rubbish microwave on wheels tesla have to do with an rs7 nobody asked about tesla and tesla is rubbish compared to these stupid fan boy
2018 RS7s have digital dash now.
not dual clutch
Looks nice aff
+KTAC1 Dude I love this car!
I love the exhaust, but the price for the exhaust kills me
lol, I know
When you show something and talk about it. Interior or trunk, get a closer look with the camera in a prof. way.
Lol sounds likes it breaking down with thos popping sounds.
you didnt say rs7 sportback there... something else wierd, couldnt quite make it out.
8 Speed ZF Transmission

RS7 only comes with a Tiptronic. No DCT for RS7 :)
Why would someone get the RS7 without the sport seats ?? 😂🤷🏾♂️
Rs6 looks nicer and more muscular
The only think I dont like is the RS7's ass..It just doesnt look right.
The transmission has been know to have problems.
Allan Sonac total bullshit the s7 has had transmission problems, only problems with these ones are the propshaft
Sounds like a clogged garbage disposal
Too bad it doesn't come in manual
