I'm so glad I could help! Are you heading to the sale soon?
Very informative thanks
Really informative video! Succinct and to the point with a great smile!
Glad it was helpful!
thanks for the tips. we are going this weekend
Good luck! I hope you get some good finds! Or at least some donuts. 😁
I'm going to the next sale in December. I have done two previous kitchens and bathrooms at our last houses. They have come a long way to make the entry process safer and more fair. The first times I went, when they were located in the old Space Center in Lordstown, it was a total free for all. I saw a few accidents with people trying to pull in front of each other for parking, and then it was a footrace to get from the parking lot to the door. Much safer at the current location in Warren.
My suggestion: always have a drawing of your room dimensions along with a tape measure. You might go in wanting a 36" base cabinet and then realize that the 20" and 18" sitting there would actually work. The flippers will have multiple employees spaced out to stagger their entry times, and they will tag everything with the most popular finish. It used to be honey spiced oak, so it would take forever to accumulate enough cabinets of that finish , wood, and doorstyle, while people were skipping over the cinnamon maple and birch, so be flexible.
I'm no where near an outlet; wish I was! Still interesting, as I'm getting Kraftmaid, too.
Thanks!
HL
Hi, thank you for the video. I could not find website to buy tickets for the event. Also, do you know if the sale is monthly or when the next sale is?
Hmm, it looks like they have a new web site but there are no events listed. I'm not sure what's going on. cabinetworksgroup.com/ohio-outlet
I was there last year in March for the sale.
At 6:30, they start handing out numbers. Then, at 7 they drew a random number for the start of the line going in. That way, people aren't fighting to be first in line because it's the luck of the draw.
Oh that's smart!
Wow, never knew this excised! Where is this place?
It's in Warren, Ohio. It's a wild experience!
I bought my complete kitchen package for $750 and a second damaged kitchen for the garage for $250 about 7 years ago all mainline kraftmaid red oak with soft close drawer and doors
Wow, quite a deal!
Does anyone have a good contact for a sales rep? I was able to get 75% of my kitchen and need to purchase the rest. Thanks in advance.
I wish they had these all over the country! Not sure if it would be worth it if you lived far away unless you had several homes to remodel or building or remodeling one from the ground up.
I don't really think it would be worth a long drive because it's just such a gamble on what you're going to find.
Where & when is it?
Here's their web site: cabinetworksgroup.com/ohio-outlet
I can tell you as a kraftmaid employee they treat there employees like crap and all those cabinets are way way overpriced
