      Thank you! You shouldn't rush a pipe smoke really, as the whole point in my view is to relax and enjoy the tobacco and the occasion. I'm pleased you enjoy my way of reviewing!

    My uncle smoked Erinmore flake always . My Other uncle Was named after his Father John Murray . As a child we heard stories of royalty in the tobacco industry . The stories go back to 1956 while visiting them in Dundee Scotland . I can't verify the truth , but they were captivating non the less .

      @gordonrobinson8771 Erinmore Flake is still one of my all-time favourites for sure. Great to read your feedback, I'm sure you have many stories to tell too! I've subbed to your channel too!

    It's amazing that a piping youtuber can stay on target about the tobacco product for so long. That's why I come here, to hear about the stated pipe tobacco. If I wanted to hear about your latest eye surgery, I'd call old grampoa Joe. I'll have to try this Erinmore. Thank you.

    Great review, I think I've led a sheltered life as never had erinmore😂. I tend to enjoy the flake versions better, ie st bruno, condor long cut, ennerdale etc so prob would prefer it in flake version. Keep it up! Just watching while smoking gawith brown aromatic flake. Atb craig.

      @craigl813 Yes I love the flakes, they were always my goto in preference, but I have moved to the rubbed and mixtures equally these days... you should try it, let it grow on you.

    I think I definitely need to get some. Not sure what’s wrong, I’ve just had a Peterson’s Connoisseurs Choice and couldn’t taste a damn thing. And I’ve got four tins hahaha. But I’ll come back to it again. ❤

      Yes it’s a great blend, I only ever smoked flake prior to trying the mixture, I’m so pleased I did! As for not tasting anything from the connoisseur’s choice, I find that happens from time to time with any tobacco after having a full flavoured meal, drink or other tobacco. Need to let the taste buds recover! That or the blends dried out and the flavour has evaporated! Hope that’s not the case!

      @ Many thanks for that Craig, I’ve been scratching the top layer which does seem to be dry. I might lay the amount for the pipe on a damp towel before I fill the pipe to see if that helps. Best regards

    I’ve added to my list along with Erinmore Flake.
    Did you add Ashton’s Consummate Gentleman and also their Artisans Blend? I had an Artisans Blend tonight and I love the aftertaste long after. It might not suit all but I like it.

      I haven't got any Ashton flakes currently, I'm just reviewing what I have in my tobacco cupboard this time. I will add those to my list though for future reviews. Thanks!

    Sounds like the flake version, just rubbed out. Have you tried 1792 Flake?

    • @carrigstudio
      @carrigstudio  6 днів тому

      @Nighttrainpiper it's very similar to rubbed out flake, not sure if it's the same or no tbh. No I've not had a chance to try 1792 flake yet, it's on my list though! Thanks!
