Got back into the pipe late last year after a 25 year hiatus. Your channel has helped to (re)-instruct and encourage me to slow down, enjoy and pass on what I’ve learned. Your priorities are in the right order! Keep up your excellent work and may God bless you as you serve Him!!
I just started smoking a pipe today. I smoked Captain Black Cherry, and I loved it. Lol, bowl got hot towards the end, but you gave me tips regarding that. Thank you and God bless.
Just last week I stumbled in your channel. And very pleased I did. So big thanks. Now I will continue looking after what I missed until now. I am myself a retired vicar in the Lutheran church of Sweden, but since then I am living I Latvia. I started my journey as a pipe smoker when I was 18 and now as I am 71 I must say that has always been a pleasure. My favorite blend has now been a long time ”Early morning pipe” Take care and God bless, Göran in Latvia
I work at a machine shop in Kansas that manufactures tooling for plastic extrusion. One of our customers is an extrusion company in Wichita Falls. I'm also a 1689 guy (at a 1689 church) and one of my buddies at church who's in our bible study / pipe club is a Wilson who goes by Wilson. Small world.
Sounds like a great time for reflection for you and your family. I am one of those victims self inflicted by today’s access to content at your fingertips. Thanks for reminding me of getting back to ordinary living.
IF you go to Muletown I would love to sit down with you and have a smoke and chat about Tobacco, God, and whatever else. This will be my first year at Muletown, I'm looking forward to it. Hope to see you there.
Congratulations Wilson! Yes super value and smoker friendly are both made by sutiff and will sadly be disappearing soon. I'm stocked up, as I'm from VA originally and wanted to get my stash before they're gone for good.
Congratulations Brother. I will also be finishing my seminary education this year. I am a bit older and I can commend you for prioritizing raising up your children first. I am grateful for my seminary education, but it is a poor substitute for time with your kids. My son is grown and married and my daughter is finishing high school this year and I can tell you that my biggest regrets in life comes from not redeeming the time as well as I should have when they were younger. Your family is your fist ministry and one of your greatest joys. Regrets will come no matter how good of a job you do, but happy is the man whose regrets are few.
Backwoods Buttered Rum was my first pouch in 2012 when I started, I wonder if it is the same delicious. I get wifi in the most rural areas of Canada like near Algonquin Park in the middle of nowhere, surprised you don’t, the Ozarks are fairly populated I thought?
I’d love to hear more about your favorite bibles, translations, and methods of scripture study. Cool to have some book studies. Probably need another channel as it is so non-pipe related.
It's great to see another family of faith trying to raise their children correctly. I grew up without any tv in the house, and read books if the time and desire was there. We grew up outside mostly with lots of animals, and gardening and firewood. We always had to come in for family supper though, and usually short devosions before bed. I could not be more thankful for my upbringing and Lord willing if I have a family they will be raised the same, and under no circumstances would I send my kids to public school. As far as tobacco reviews, there are plenty of tobacco's to try that aren't new and such. I would really miss your reviews, because they are too good to stop. Best of luck to you, your family, and Church.
My good friend Jack and his wife Katie just moved to Wichita Falls. I encouraged them to check out your congregation! We are also part of a Reformed Baptist church out in Fort Collins, CO.
Love your channel and content. Love to hear someone talk about our lord and savior. Wish I was closer. Would love to come by your church and hear you preach and maybe share a bowl. God bless
Good Evening Pastor 😊 Happy 2025 🎉👏🏼 Lovely Pipe 😍 Thanks For The Chat and Sharing 👍🏼 Farm Life is Fabulous 💯 Happy Piping Moments 🌬💨💨 Have a Blessed Day and God Bless You 🙏🏽 Greetings From South Africa 🇿🇦
You can get hydration disks (little metal perforated disks with a clay disk inside them) that you can keep in your pouch and it will keep your tobacco moist. I've hard people not recommend using apple or potato as it can cause mold growth. Not sure if that's accurate. We are also limiting the amount of TV/Videos that our kids watch. We find that the more they watch, the more it impacts their behavior. It's easy to use TV as a "distraction" for our kids so that we can get stuff done. Praying that you and your wife will be wise in raising your children in the Lord. Thanks for another great video, Wilson!
Hey Brother. Did you ever make that video on 1 Corinthians 3:16-17? Ever since you hinted at talking about that, in a video before your move, I’ve been looking for it. Being raised in the Evangelical Purity Movement (for concision sake), it took work for me to allow the Holy Ghost and the Word of God to correct my dogma. I definitely want to hear your view on that passage.
When I was a younger man, and men smoked pipes in public more often, many would put a slice of apple in their pouches to maintain humidity. Personally, I never put more in my pouch than I am going to smoke in a day, and I don't find it being to dry at the end of the day. I smoke Englishes and Virginias, so moisture is pretty low in those anyway. I really can't speak with any authority about aromatics, but many that I have encountered are too moist and should actually benefit from some drying time.
Hello Wilson. I am looking to become a pastor but do not have any money to go to seminary. I was wondering if you could give me any advice on reaching my goal. I do have a regular church that I attend
Enjoying PipeMan1861 on UA-cam - he mentioned Mule Town pipe show - think you guys would get on well he seems a lovely chap - we don’t have many pipe shows in the UK or many B&M stores left so it’s lovely to see them in the USA

I've covered theological topics on my channel before. I'll simply cover those things on here

Great video, great chat. Looking forward to your videos for 2025!
appreciate you sir..
Thanks brother
What blessing it is to be moving forward even when life is a little complex at times 😅
May I recommend the book, "Biblical Eldership"by Alexander Strauch which also has a workbook available too.
Yes it's a great book
I would love some farming videos! That would be awesome. Fire up the tractor and fire up a pipe
Potato peel or some apple peel work great to re-moisten your tobacco

@@Mr.Incomplete-ht2vl I haven't but I'll put it down on a topic to do sooner than later
i used to use a slice of potato in my tobacco, works really well.

Fundraising, just like a missionary would do.
The potato does really work.
Guitar players put a slice of apple in their case to keep it humidified. Guess that would work as well as a potato.
Don't try the potato slice (or apple, or anything else); you'll get mold, and ruin your tobacco.
Put a apple peel in your tobacco.
First view!! Blessings
When are you gonna become Presbyterian🥲
