You don’t actually show the first step. You cover it with your hand while just saying “until you can pull that out”. Not helpful.

He's referring to the takedown lever. It slides out. It's the piece you see him put back in at the end after everything else is together. Hope this helps.

It's not really a takedown lever ... I guess it's the slide lock? You know what I mean though.
