Good video, BUT......this is the only gun I own that I cuss whenever I clean it. That dang guide rod / spring!!! I'm not young and strong so I ended up carefully (wrapped a thick cloth around it) securing the slide in a vise and still I invented a couple of new cuss words!
I just got one the first of September, I probably have about 250 - 300 threw it zero issues or malfunctions, it would be great if you do a follow up range video!
Scheels was full on the shelves the last time I checked. You still have many companies that make ammo and not just what comes out of the Lake City ammo plant. Check Mead Ammo for .223 Rem and 5.56 options!
Is it okay to disassemble p238 with safety on like you did? Because I just disassembled and reassembled my p238 while safety was on. After I got done I saw some comments from other video that saids don't keep the safety on while disassembling p238
SHAME SHAME on you Travis! I went through the whole video, both taking it down and putting it back together. I noticed that you stoped the video at (for me, the most important part was the getting the spring back in.) that makes me think that you don't have a sure fi way of getting it in. I call this stage the "curse like a marine" part. I don't know of any of my range Buddys that don't get agitated putting than damn thing in.it is a good little pistol. I like shooting it. i'm an "old" marine(once a marine ,always a marine)the tips of my 74 yr old right thumb are always black and red and oh so tender after the battle of the spring.you let me down son. semper fi !

That's one of my favorite carry guns
I can’t wait to take it out! Thanks again for letting me use it for this video!

Good video, how's the laser working for you, any issues with the guide rod?
Everything works fine!
I like that cleaning kit bag . Are you having trouble finding 556 or 223 rounds I heard there's a shortage you won't be able to get no more?

I didn’t have any issues with mine. You can always leave it off if you wish.
