I'm a Mechanical Engineering student. So far, I'm enjoying my studies and subjects. I'm a Civil Engineering student back then but I shifted because I'm not having fun. My advice to you, you should shift to Civil Engineering if that's what you want to be. Go to a course which will give you a reason to wake up early.

@@makeyourmommaproud6500 I agree with you! I was taking up Chemical Engineering before, but I shifted to Mining Engineering and I am enjoying my subjects too. It's a big leap to shift, but if you're not enjoying your program, maybe there's a deep reason behind it. Good luck to us future engineers!

Yes true! Thanks for this video Engineer Rico. 😁 We need more vlogs that tackles deeper content inside the construction life. You showed us a lot of video clips from construction sites which makes us see and learn more about it.
You have also mentioned the first and foremost most important team that works on a construction before everything else is built -- which is the "Geotechnical Engineers." Hope you can link us or make a vlog about it/them so we can also see and learn more about what they do.

Engr. Maru is right about rebars, dagdag lang concrete is weak under tension (pulling force) and rebars are designed for it. Kaya perfect combo sila for the structure to be able to withstand stresses and also for precautionary.

Parilya or Parilla is the vernacular of the main reinforcements of the footing, not the footing itself 🙂 it is called that way because the main reinforcements of a footing closely resembles to grid like feature.
