I'd say it's the combination of all the butter and acidic ingredients like the pickled ginger, coke and vinegar. And the hot stuff. All together, it can mess with your stomach.
This sauce is gross. I made it today with such high hope's and it's absolutely disgusting. Tastes exactly like pizza sauce.
