I’ve been called out by my cards before and I was not sure how to take it 😅 they told me that I need to be more disciplined and serious about learning tarot. I asked what I needed to work on/ know about myself 😂
Hi yesterday I got tarot study journal and I'm using the key words in the book for my three cards spread. Right now I'm going back to to last month when I start my journey with the tarot and redoing my meaning of the cards so I can understand them better.
Do you have a video of the Celtic Cross ( 10 cards) with an example of a reading and you’re interpretation of that reading. It would help beginners to see how you interpret the cards. Thanks Let me know
I started to learn tarot today. i decided that it would be easiest for me ask personal development questions and doing small simple spreads and putting the card names along with meanings into a google doc after pulling the cards so it makes it easier to interpret with the guide book in hand. even within a day im slowly picking up on the meanings behind each card.
I'm sooo guilty of wanting to know EVERYTHING right away! 🤦🏼♀️ I have a blank deck that I'm going to start writing my own little simple symbols on and add them into my RW since they have the same backing. Thank you!!!
yesterday I asked my cards about something I wanted to know right away and the one card I pulled said something along the lines of: hey, just enjoy the unknown a bit ;) that was so cool!
I just started practicing today. I did quite a few readings about one guy, and in general kept getting the same theme ! Lol I did one about another love interest and it was nice. I realized I was looking for something I wasn’t going to get at least right now. I knew deep down the deck was right. aligned with my intuition and initial thoughts on the situation. Very interesting!
I really enjoy your videos. They are so helpful. Thank you so much. I recently started practicing tarot and often I may not ask a question but while shuffling the cards I will think of the issue at hand and put the energy into the reading instead of asking a question. I seem to be getting good responsive answers from the tarot. I just wanted to see if you have done this as well?
I just got your Simple Tarot Kit-its well put together. And as you said I'm overwhelmed and anxious at not being able to remember 78 card meaning. Now you giving me a little more confidence that I can do this, and have a guidance to supports me through the process. Thank you so much for helping us newbies learn tarot. Hugz😘
You are so welcome! I'm glad you like the Starter Kit. I wish I had an easier/sexier answer, but learning tarot (just like learning anything else) takes time, patience, and commitment. But it's so fun and SOOO worth it!
Thank you for this video, helped a lot! Do you have any advice for me as a tarot reader, when clients are asking these "bad questions"? It happens a lot and I want to be able to guide them through it in the best way possible, instead of getting the same remade questions over and over cause they aren't satisfied with the answers.
YOU are the one who sets the boundaries of the reading (and with your clients), so if it were me, I'd just refuse to ask the cards an unhelpful question, and then guide them to a better one. This has the added bonus of turning away needy/victim-y clients who aren't a good fit for you. You don't need to read for everyone who asks you to, even when they come with cash in their hands. Good luck!
Very nice video, Angie. I'd been wondering if readers organize their decks before they shuffle. Specifically, do you face all the cards in the upright position, or leave them as they are when you put them away for the day, or between readings??
I don't have any training in tarot reading, but I have been throwing 5 cards for myself plus the base card on bottom of the deck about once a month (Ryder cards) I have found truth in the cards the deck gives to me, just for me, I see that these cards are a true(or close to true) depiction of my life path, which is always my question, what is your opinion?
I like that you said tarot is based on your interpretation, choices and beliefs, I am sometimes undecided in interpretation, but firm in my choices and beliefs. Thank you for your instruction.
One of the best gifts that tarot gives (through the process of reading over time) is the gift of self-trust. You learn where your intuition lives, how it speaks to you, and how to trust it. This helps immeasurably with becoming more certain about the interpretations - and in life, of course.
Thank you for all the clear and easy information you provide. I have a question for you. When reading for someone else, is it a good idea to orient or instruct the querent about how to ask good questions or should they be left free to ask any questions they want?
YOU set the boundaries for the type of tarot reading you want to give. So it's totally up to you! You can guide them beforehand, during, or not at all. There's no right way or wrong way - just YOUR way. 😘
What if your cards are giving you information about important world events? i use to do tarot , celtic cross for myself , many years ago . I kept getting the tower constantly in my own readings . Obviously though , it was telling me all the time about 911 ! Because 911 happened right after I stopped reading them . Mainly I gave up on reading them , because I kept getting negative readings , and at that time I was very depressed over a relationship that did not work out . I did not want to see the truth , which was that my boyfriend was very recently divorced , and then had decided to go back to his former wife after she wanted him back again , after divorcing him for another man . I was heartbroken for a few terrible months then . But it was ok after the initial shock ! which I had such a hard time accepting at that time in my life .
In terms of decks with specific "reads" on specific cards -- how much credence do you think a reader should give to those? Is it worth memorizing/studying the quirky aspects?
Great question! If it were me, I'd only concern myself with these specific meanings if they seemed "right" (to my intuition) or if I had a personal connection/story I could associate with the card. But if you LOVE the deck, why not learn to read it how the artist/designer intended?
Hi I've recently started learning tarot, I havent opened my deck yet as I want to smudge them but I was wondering before I do a reading would it be a good idea to spread the cards over my mattress, put my sheet over them then sleep or is skin contact better? X
I am a very active sleeper, i toss and turn all over the place . What i do is put the deck i want to use the next day on the little night stand near my bed level with me head.
my answer is for ambiance and experience. Qualifying a Rider Waite Tarot card isn't as visually pleasing (to me) as another deck used top clarify. I send photos of the cards to my clients and the different imagery has been much appreciated.
People have different tastes, different interests and even different feelings about tarot so i have a number of different decks to try and cater to that. I have a lot of clients who like the traditional rider waite deck, they are familiar with its imagery because of seeing it on tv and movies and sort of expect it. I have a very cute animal one for younger clients or people nervous about having a tarot reading, i have a couple of clients who like the dark gothic look of vampire themed ones, i have two that are gold foil embossed for pamper nights and ones with same sex couples or mixed race couples in them.
Orange is your color girl!

Thank you so much great advice 🇹🇹💯
And yeah. .. solve my problems, asking "Tommy love me or not" 😅 thank yooouuuu ❤🌷🙇
Do you really need to ask the tarot a question? Why I ask is because I don't ask the tarot any questions. I get good results.
Really useful for me. Started in feb and feeling a little stuck
If you’re ever up for a reading swap, let me know! I’ve started a few months ago and trying to learn and practice. 😊
I love it
Good advice!
Thank you soo much.

Hi, do you do private reading? if you do I like a session.
No, I don't do private readings. The Simple Tarot is all about teaching YOU how to read the cards. 😘
why do people use different kinds of decks when their reading tarot for other people
Well, you'd have to ask them! But I like using different decks depending on my mood, the questions I'm asking, and whatever deck strikes my fancy.
